I am sensing I am not the only one who got distracted part of the way through this episode and forgot to finish watching.
-
I at least hope from now on the Principal insists on having someone else in the room if he has to meet with Hannah.
-
I don't get what Elijah's boyfriend sees in him other than that he's young and attractive. So learning that Elijah is one of many makes more sense to me than the love of his life BS that is being spewed. Jessa is still Jessa. Talking to Adam about Hannah right before his play was a pretty shitty thing to do. If that was opening night and he needed to prepare, why mess with his head? Is this the first time we've seen Jessa in jeans? She looked different. She was dressed like I did as a tween in the 70s. Fran was the greek chorus early in the episode. Ooh, Hannah's being inappropriate! Don't show your vagina to people. Thanks for speaking for us, Fran.

I actually enjoyed the last 10 minites or so, Frank's outing everyone's issues, Fiona's scene with Sean, and Lip being dropped off a rehab. The rest was a waste to me. Carl wanting to be a cop because it is an overused premise - out of control kid wants to become a cop to be able to have power over others. Great. Give the sociopath a gun. JJust because he is straightening up for his girlfriend doesn't mean all of his problems have gone away. Carl has been a pretty disturbed character from the get go. Ian and Caleb are dull. Ian's little speech about disability was missing something important. You can be rejected from a job if your disability prevents you from being able to perform the job duties without reasonable accommodation. There are physical requirements for EMTs. His argument regarding controlled mental illness could stand, but he did lie on the application. Yes, it is a catch 22. He still fell right into it. And I don't feel sorry for him for spending one day looking for work without finding something. Poor baby. Now, just like the other Gallaghers, grow up. When will it hit Fiona that she is probably out of a job now too? Does she want to work with junky Sean? Sean is the most boring junky ever.

Yet again, TAR brings disaster to a region. (I kid, I kid). I didn't mind Tyler until last night. Something about the way he said "I" when talking about making friendship bracelets was so screechy and precious it set me on edge. Dude, you are not as adorable as you think you are. The locals were great on this episode. They really seemed to be enjoying the experience. The camera work is driving me crazy this season. It is much more choppy. I think that is meant to invoke action. It makes it more difficult to follow what is happening and to keep track of the teams. Settle down, amazing editors. We need more than a flash to figure out who these people are. Dr. Muffyn and I play a game of who would do which task if we were competing. We both called "not it!" for changing the oil. I don't see it as being that hard but it does take hand strength which I lack and a willingness to get greasy which he lacks. I felt for Sherry because she got trapped in a meltdown.

This was a really bad episode. Wow. Wake me up when it's over. I am embarassed for them.

She may control the money in the household. It would fit within their dynamic. Gilbert would cash the checks and give her the cash. She would dole it out as needed.

Dammit. Now I want to see Rapunzel in an orange jumpsuit and shower shoes. Maybe those hideous flats were the closest thing to shower shoes Asha could find on the wall.

Well, in defense of Michael Rappaport’s character, he was at a bachelor party; he got drunk and passed out. Then his friends pantsed him, leaving him naked from the waist down. Then he had a wet dream, causing an erection. Meanwhile one of the women at the party vomited on herself and passed out. The friends removed her dress under which she was wearing nothing and placed her on the bed next to Michael to sleep it off. While erect, he rolled over in his sleep, now on top of her. Then he had a seizure that caused him to move in such a way that his penis entered her vagina. See? It was all very innocent. I mean it is either that or he is a rapist.

Asha's was one fo the ugliest things this season. How did that win? It looked so heavy, like it was weighing down her model. I seriously thought she was in the bottom along with Sam's stack of swatches in a lingerie washing bag. Sam's looked like he was cleaning up after making a bunch of glittery Halloween costumes and shoved the scraps in a mesh bag. I actually snorted when Kini said he was going to use denim. I liked Kini during his season although I was never in love with his designs. Now he is just tiring. Enough with the bitchface drama. I am going to miss Alexander. Again his designs have not floored me, but I really like him. He's a designer I would like to hang out with.

I so much wanted Rob's creature to hiss-speak, "I will be merciful."

I was as shocked by this episode as I am by clickbait that claims to be shocking. Hello, Scott Grimes, a.k.a. second known guest star, I take it you're playing a rapist. Thanks for stopping by. Please be extra sanctimonious so we can really hate you. Well played. Did anyone else think of the early episode with the girl with the genetic disorder who had extraordinarily good hearing? She identified her mother's murderer in a similar way. The SVU team as always does a terrible job of keeping the suspects away from witnesses and victims.

Cait is just as likely to have heard some truthiness-based factoid that mentioned $450K in regards to ObamaCare as she is to have spent that much on her surgery and/or healthcare. She spouts talking points and sound bites without considering their validity or applicability often.
-
I am especially interested in the subject because I volunteer with young veterans that have seen extreme trauma. I just don't think I need to see a child die from a head wound to understand how horrible that is.
-
I more and more feel that every episode description should simply start with "Cait remains horrible." Even at her best, she's horrible.

The Elvis scene went on forever. We saw no one related to punk. The thought of Elvis recording with The Nasty Bits is all kinds of whack. And yet again we see that Richie is the worst ever. Yeah, this episode was par for the course. Unfortunately the course is a decrepit mini golf course that hasn't been used in years.

To expand on this, what I am seeing is a pattern that is typical in porn. That is, kissing, man gets head, man goes down on woman, intercourse in position A, intercourse in position B, . . . . We don't get the external money shot because then it would be XXX. Now, I know this is not real, but for all of the pretending it is and trying to set up supposedly racy, out there kind of dates, they still go right back to this pattern. Brace gets tied up, then <insert sex pattern A>. Vin does SM, then <insert sex pattern A>. I have friends who do porn, both actors and producers, so I know the importance of a good fluffer, but that is done off camera. Obviously there is a camera crew accompanying our cowboys for angels. Yes, there are women who enjoy giving head. And there are women who enjoy getting head. There are also women who don't enjoy these acts. Do they never meet one? That's the way they make it look. So for all of the people who come to gigolos to get something they can't get at home, they seem to keep ending up getting the same thing. And now I have officially taken this silly, throw-away show much too seriously. Back to thinking about Bradley "acting" like he's shocked.

Ten Seasons Of Sick Michael Kors Project Runway Burns In Five Minutes
Muffyn replied to Primetimer's topic in Project Runway
Also missing is Appalachian Li'l Abner Barbie, one of my all time favorites. Kors really goes through many shades of orange in these clips. There is one in which he could easily hide in a bin of rotting oranges. -
I don't think Hannah was wearing underwear. She took off her shorts to go to bed. She was not wearing anything under her shorts.

Okay, Lupe is an extremely annoying person. She whines and moans and is basically miserable to be around. And yet her family seems to really care about her. They seemed very loving at the goodbye party, and her niece was willing to drive them to Houston. So sometimes she must not be a nightmare. And she has a husband who has been taking care of her in every possible way. So here’s the thing. Yet again we have a really difficult family dynamic and that dynamic is not addressed. Gilbert is clearly over her and yet he is still there. He is contacting other women on line to preach the gospel (and his penis). Her family supports her move and then brings her massive amounts of food for her birthday, placing a sheet cake on her lap. They all need help, education and perhaps a good kick in the ass. Lupe isn’t walking. There certainly seems to be a strong psychological component to this. There is also a physical one. She has been sedentary so long she has little muscle tone and has most likely lost good feedback from her muscles, both from non-use and from her very high blood sugar. Her right leg is fully turned out. She cannot safely support her weight on that for a long period of time. However, we don’t see physical therapy offered to help fix that problem. And Dr. Now is remarkable in his inability to look outside of just weight for health issues to be addressed. While her extreme weight and inactivity most likely caused the leg issue, it still needs to be addressed. And it is not a quick fix. So again these are people who really need counseling and other kinds of help. Let’s not pretend that they are living some great life. Lupe is mentally ill. Her situation is of her own making but that doesn’t make it less sad. I certainly enjoy the snark and am more than willing to participate in it. However, the discussion of how they are living large off our taxpayer dollars is very distasteful. They are living in a rundown place. She said he can’t work fulltime because he takes care of her. He may work part time – we don’t know. This show has consistently hidden the ways people earn money. Clearly she doesn’t work (other than at things like hiding tacos in her purse). Her family may help out some also. At the beginning of the show we were shown a shopping cart in front of their house with a “The end is near" cardboard sign taped to it. Do I suspect the whole religion angle is a big thing for these two? Yep. God sent Gilbert to help take care of her. Gilbert is starting to realize God is one mean bastard.

Nick never fails to disappoint wit his "art". First we had his rap. Can anyone forget his brilliant rhymes? Singing about his penis necklace? Now we have his paintings. They are so deep and meaningful. How much did the show pay to have those in a show? Doesn't it seem like these guys are always getting blow jobs? Are we supposed to believe women are paying to give them head? As professionals I believe they are supposed to be able to get it up and keep it up without needing a fluffer. Just me?

Her husband married her when she was already bed bound because she said God would send her someone to take care of her. That was the moment I thought my head might explode.

To me the winner and loser were so clear this episode that there was no suspense. Melissa's had prroblems as did Rob's, but Yvonne's was terrible. The area around the eyes did not blend into the face at all. The color was waxy. There was no way for the model to sell it. The winning looking was tentacles and tail above the rest. It was so well done.
