That's a great photo of Ashlee, and she or they really fixed her hairline this year. That was always tough for me to look at. And, she's much prettier than I am, but I have always felt her head is too big for her body. Anyway, love this photo.

True. It's just strange that they call her Madeline M! Why do we need the M? Ohhh, is it because of Madeline Salter who tried out last year?

I forgot to mention, I know it's supposed to be correct to brush your eyebrows up, but I really don't like when that goes too far like Sheridan's and Marissa's. I have a hard time looking at them.

Just thought I'd put this here since I see it often: Maddie and Madeline both have last names that start with M (Massengill and Malloy), so when people say Maddie M it's still confusing!

Yay, there's an episode thread! Random thoughts: Sydney makes weird faces. Doesn't make sense to equate Hannah's being pale to not wanting to be there. Plus, they were told to ignore fixable cosmetic issues this year. I'd love to see more Dani. Didn't realize how tall she was. On the tall note, interesting commentary on Jada. Still hoping we will eventually see more Claire. Interesting look, but I love her. Who is the manly woman walking them out? They had to play the overused "Someone You Loved" during cuts. I hate that song because the teens play it over and over on TikTok in our house! Also, dumb fit for the show, like the Post Malone song. I'm a terrible person, but if I were Annabelle I would try to contour that bulb on the end of my nose. I'm sure I'll think of more. Oh, Kat should be cut.

While I'm glad they are addressing Joshua, I really hope they are sticking true to whatever would be "natural" to them, but it already feels exploitative. Would they have been wandering around in the forest smiling about organizing a visit to his gravesite if they weren't on TV?

Oh man. So much to say. But as cringey as that scene was with Max, I cried, because I could tell Moriah was so genuine.

Maddie looks even more Cabbage Patch like! Who is Chance? Charm's funny. "You tiredt?" Although I haven't cared for Sydney, I did really enjoy her segment! But how ironic that the person who has a Master's in nutrition got sick from not being nourished? I hope to see a highlight of Dani. Claire D. Didn't have "the look", but I really liked her in her cut scene. It was awkward watching Hailey, "I know you all want your spots back, so come on in" or whatever she said. Just uncomfortable. Sheridan's "girl" scene was cringey, but I actually liked her personality a lot. Why are they keeping Allora? Sorry, but Annabelle doesn't have the look.

So glad a thread finally opened up! I watched the episode in real time and was bummed that there was nowhere to post. Nothing super profound to say,just a few petty remarks 😂 -Claire W.: Didn't see much of her this time, but she is really likeable. She seems like the girl next door. She's my favorite, but I have to admit she doesn't have "the look" and has a stockier body. Maybe that's why I love her so much. She's a real person who deserves this on merit, is cute in her own way and absolutely kills it dancing without a physical advantage. -Armani. Absolutely love her. Another real person. And I have to say, I've noticed she doesn't have perfect teeth ot skin but still shines,and I love that. The one thing I did notice dance wise in episode one was a tendency to stick her neck forward, which kind of made her look hunched. But still, LOVE her. -Ellie. Just can't say enough. Classy, beautiful and powerful. Close tie for my favorite 3 for sure. Dani: Also right up there! Just haven't seen enough of her. -Jada: Classy, LOVE her. Legs are crazy! Mackenzie: Pretty, and I really want to like her, but her hair washes her out. Once it's toned a bit we can actually appreciate her features. Allora-Rose: Rubs me the wrong way, and I can't figure out why. I feel bad, because I don't know what I wish she would do or say differently. Also, something's not right with her ears... Marissa: All I have to say is I'm watching Welcome to Plathville at the same time, and in my head I can't keep her and Moriah straight. I don't care for Sydney. I feel like we are all saying the same things!

On the weight note, maybe Kim doesn't realize that carbs are sugar. She might just be restricting obvious sugars,like candy. I hate to be petty, but since she obviously wears lip makeup, why can't she find a simple foundation or concealer to tone down the redness on her face. It's quite distracting.

What horrid music choices. The song they danced to in the groups was fine, but the rest ... yuck.

I can't stand Caroline's hair. It's a mullet. Or shag. Or something, but it is not flattering. And the color they give her is the same washed-out look they did to Kristin's. They made Kristin's hair look grey.

Okay, they really did well wish Ashlee. Sorry, but I hated her hairline before.

I really think Victoria did well! Honestly, out of the 5 we could see, my eye was drawn to her. If I have the order right, Madeline Molloy was totally on her own program at several points! Eek!

Those photos of Jerry are absolutely, utterly disgusting. Context doesn't matter, but I'd like to know anyway. Are these former cheerleaders or from somewhere else? I'd really, really like to know what the organization has to say about those. I'm appalled.

Regarding Lisa's not being a locker room favorite, wasn't Olivia Stevanovski cut for exactly that reason?

Danielle didn't do much for me. I know this is mean, but her face/head looked way too big.

Can you explain a little more about her being strange? To me she seems mature, wholesome and not catty or a vapid, giggly barbie. That's why I like her. I guess I can see how this would seem strange to some of them. Of course I've never met her and my impressions are based solely off of a TV show! ETA final thoughts on Brennan's COVID: It was the other way around; she never got tested the 1st time. The time when she did get tested she said she didn't even feel.that bad. It doesn't matter anymore, and I do wish she wasn't cut, but I don't like when COVID (especially SUSPECTED but unconfirmed) becomes am excuse for sympathy when many, many people get it and survive. If COVID weren't a thing she never would have brought up the first time she was sick earlier in the summer, and for some reason even when you're sicker with something other than COVID, nobody cares. When you have COVID and aren't as sick, everybody cares.

I know this to be true, and I'm not arguing that it happens. What I'm trying to point out is that Brennan exaggerated. She stated that she had it twice then admitted she didn't get tested at least one of the times.

Brennan, herself, SAID she had COVID twice in her post after she was cut. I also don't have much of an upper lip like Cassie. It sucks. Add me to the list of people who doesn't understand why we're calling out only Kat and not naming the other fraternizers.

Alanna deserves a better photo. She's the only one looking over her shoulder to the point where you can't really see her face. I'm sorry, but I call BS on Brennan having COVID twice. I'm just guessing here, but my guess is that she came down with it one verified time and was sick another time and just guessed it was COVID again (or reflected back on a previous time she felt sick and determined it was COVID as well). I do love that Lily spoke up about her cut not being COVID related.

I'm a few pages behind on catching up, but here are some random thoughts: Brennan: As much as I love Brennan and think her cut was inappropriate, the "COVID survivor" angle doesn't do much for me. Yes, COVID can be horrific, but many people survive. I had COVID in March, and nobody gave a crap. Most of my workplace came down with it. While their reasons for cutting Brennan are likely unfair, they are not obligated to keep someone because she survived COVID. Favorites: Along with Brennan, Briana, Kristin and Savannah have always been three of my favorites as people. I'm glad Briana is finally getting the attention she deserves! She's gorgeous, and I love her maturity. I know people don't think much of Kristin and Savannah as dancers, but I do believe Kristin has really fallen under the radar and is an asset to the team. For those who aren't fans of Savannah's dancing, where can I find videos that include the whole team where I can compare her dancing? I liked Lily as a person, but for those saying Sidney has a manly jawline, where was everyone with Lily? Her underbite is horrific. Victoria reminds me of Tiffany Trump. Unfortunately, if it's attention and publicity that Kelli and Judy hoped for by their recent cuts, they're getting it. We're all here talking about it. I know forums don't translate to TV ratings, but they did, in a way, achieve what they were hoping for.

Well ... that's unfortunate for all involved. However, I wouldn't cater to my child wanting to have sex, either. We just found out my 14-yr-old stepdaughter had sex and wants to continue to do so, and I'll be damned if I'm going to facilitate birth control for her. I'm not attempting to derail the thread with a moral/religious debate, just saying that parents are entitled to make decisions and do not have to cater to what their teenagers decide to do. It would be safer if our kids chose to drink at home rather than at parties, but we're sure as heck not going to purchase alcohol for them.
