  1. She does resemble her! And a bit Erin Bates. It's not super important, but I wish someone would allow Lydia to try curl cream or a straightener. That sounds more reasonable than coffee once a week for little kids.
  2. My guess is one was just suspected. I had that happen too, in March. While I'm 90% sure it's what I had, our hospital wasn't testing at the time, and I'm not going to go around saying I had COVID.
  3. This isn't a super important point, but remember Brennan claiming to have COVID twice? How come she only mentioned once on the show then.
  4. Aw, I loved her at point. I did not care for her her first couple years, but she really grew on me, and I think between her look and spunk she was perfect point material. The one who really didn't do anything for me at point was Jenna.
  5. I really love Jada as a person and think she is beautiful, but as a dancer she reminds me of Tess but even more noodly and lacking in power. Her body is beautiful, but I don't see DCC style in her movements.
  6. Going along with their not knowing about Brennan's COVID, they really don't seem to have relationships with these girls at all. For example, when they cut Meredith it was, "Goodnight" rather than "Goodbye." She'd been on the team for a year, and they'll probably never talk to her again, and that was how it ended.
  7. I love Claire because she's such a girl next door, but the "as a woman" part didn't make sense to me either.
  8. I recorded, and it cut off the very end. Can anyone tell me what the preview for next week looks like? I forgot to ask in my earlier posts.
  9. Oh yes, true. I had forgotten those things. She's not my favorite, but I still feel like they should've noticed fan kicks sooner (maybe even before taking her in). And at least she knew who BK was. How likely are they really to be asked something like that on the sidelines?! I'm still hoping to see more Dani, but I doubt it.
  10. What are everyone's hypotheses as to why Tori gets cut? I'm starting to see it with Ashlinn, but they've given no indications with Tori whatsoever.
  11. I don't blame M and M at all for how they handled the visit with their family. They can't be expected to do Ethan's bidding (as much as I absolutely love him now). They each have their own familial relationships to walk through and shouldn't be put in the middle. Yes, the parents put on a show, but I thought it was a positive visit overall. The one thing I wish Ethan would have done differently was when he said it wasn't a debate or discussion, yet he couldn't stand not getting a rise out of them, so he pushed a bit for a reaction. That gave Kim the ability to look slightly reasonable for a moment when she said, "Well, you don't want to debate." The issue I have with Barry isn't just the smile in itself, it's the social inappropriateness, and I'm well aware that this comes from my experiences with my own father. Do I think Barry is a "nice" person? Yes. But he does these infuriating things in a nice way, whether clueless or intentional, that drive me crazy. He disregards the feelings and wishes of others and sweeps things under the rug with a smile and shrug of the shoulders. "Well, let's just bring Olivia up here and we'll all smile and wave and say hi" in this sing-songy voice. My dad used to do things like that all the time. I never knew if he had Asperger's, was simply uncomfortable or knew exactly what he was doing. "Dad, I don't want to do this and here's why," "All right, gang, let's head out and have a great day!"
  12. I get the sentiment, but at the same time I'm proud of Moriah for pursuing her passion and am glad she has something that makes her happy. We don't all have to be the best at something for it to be worth doing. Considering her background and lack of exposure and education I'm glad she has experience at anything at all. And if it makes her happy, she should continue it IMO. I didn't think she sounded good. But she wasn't terrible. In my 20s and 30s I picked back up several hobbies and sports I had done when I was younger. I had no illusions of being thr best in the world at them, but I wanted to become the best I could. Not everyone who plays piano will go to Julliard, but many of us play.
  13. Right? And when he said, "Well that's nice of you to say on TV for everyone to hear." I got the heebie jeebies when Barry put his arms around the family while wearing his stupid smirk.
  14. I am only halfway through this episode, but can I just say this is, hands down, one of the best TV moments ever and much better than I expected. I can't believe this is actually happening. I see Ethan in a totally different light now. And Barry's grin makes me want to punch my TV.
  15. I wish we wouldve seen more of Alanna over the years. She doesn't stand out, but I've liked her when I've seen her, and I feel like she'll retire without our getting to know her. So, I know Christina, Brennan and Brianna have been 30/31, but what's the oldest person to have ever been on the squad? True, and I've known someone who had it treated successfully. Still, I can't blame him if he'd rather be close to family during all this and if she chooses to go with him. And, Marissa is actually growing on me.
  16. Yeah, I'm conflicted on Myrka's mom and life. It's true that you can't kick out a minor child, and yes very sad to hear what she said about families actually being happy. At the same time I, myself, am a hard ass, and I understood where her mom was coming from when she expressed that she wasn't going to love another child as much as she loves Myrka. Sometimes there are only so many resources and care to go around, and she only chose to have two kids. But true, she doesn't have to love the baby the same amount, but she shouldn't want to see them on the streets. I do wonder if she really would have let that happen had Ethan's parents not given her a soft place to land. I'll be honest, we are a blended family over here and we DO say things like "such and such behavior will not be tolerated at this house because we care. Your other parent may be the fun one and allow that, but we do not," and it has happened that a child has been "sent" to live with the other parent because of inappropriate behaviors (extreme things like drugs, drinking or legal trouble) that the other parent didn't seem to have an issue with. Had we not had this option of course we wouldn't kick a child out on the streets, but I truly don't know what we would have done. And we have, embarrassingly, had a kid say they are not "loved or wanted" at this house because we put our foot down in a certain situation and they chose to cry to someone else to come get them.
  17. While I feel bad that Myrka feels unloved, I can't fault her mom. This is what we've all been hoping to see, a mom with consequences and a backbone, and now everyone hates her for it?
  18. I really don't like Alora-Rose. And I feel bad about that. But I just do not.
  19. I laugh every time I see the mom because of the disgusted/horrified expression on her face.
  20. The preview for next week ... ohhhh goodness!!
  21. Caroline is SO good, but yes she has a hillbilly mullet and looks like she should work in a smokey diner. I loved Ashlinn's personality, but her face looks... skeletal? I'm not quite sure what it is. I love Mackenzie. She and Jalyn could be sisters. I hope for features of Claire and Dani.
  22. I need to get a life; can't believe I'm posting AGAIN and rewatching, but ... Why does Judy's face shield say "Face Shield" so big? What else would it be?
