S07.E18: Before We Say Goodbye

Faith: “ I wonder if he was just using me to move to the Philippines" You are the best Faith, and I’m sorry to report to you, if you have to do this, you are doing it all wrong, because no one does this with someone like Loren. No, the USA is not all you think from movies. It is not easy to make it here now. But if you were born here, as Loren was, you got a decent shot. Loren didn’t make it, because he didn’t try much. As beautiful as your country is, moving from the USA to the Philippines isn’t a thing. Retirement, maybe. I am gutted that Loren treated her like that, and just hope the worst for him. What a tool. -
Shannon Beador: Magic Crystals and Nine Lemons
Medium replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
Shannon is a longtime drunk on this show. Red flags were present from her first season. Anyone remember in her first season (when she bragged about being a size 6 and 118lbs I think? Around the same time she mocked Michigan women for being fat because they ate too many potatoes) she and David did a weekend getaway at a hotel and she was grabbing the vodka at the minibar for dear life and lamenting, on camera " I just wish I was more drunk!" Like : I sure wish before I have to go to bed with you I could down another stiff drink! David gasped quickly " No, don't do that!" trying to wrest the drink from her hand. Did I dream that? No, I'm afraid not, and I have thought of it often over the years. She has had a problem for many years.- 2.7k replies

S06.E17: Tell-All Part One

Jasmine's dress was a good color for her and her hair and makeup was better than usual. She's still nuts, though. Dempsey looked beautiful and her dress color was great but the shiny silky fabric did her no favors. Statler looked like a mess, which is a shame, as she is attractive too. As someone upthread mentioned, the dress needed tailoring. Meisha also looked great and her dress fitted her perfectly. Her daughters are lovely. She is about to throw her life away, and possibly really screw up theirs too. I wonder what really happened to her mind when she converted? Violet's dress matched her name? That's all I got. Cleo's dress color didn't suit her, but I like her, so she gets a thumbs up. She deserves better than that balding booze-hound. Amanda, in theory, would have been a contender, but she is so awful I give her a failing review. My jaw dropped when she agreed with Nicola and the "Man is the provider, head decision-maker" stuff. How old is she? Guess feminism hasn't reached her part of the world yet? She sucks. I couldn't see what Sheila was wearing, so no comments. All the guys looked pretty bad, so they all fail this fashion review. Also most of them fail any "husband material" review. -
Ah, Kalani's size is her size. She has pretty hair and features. The problem is her self esteem. Does she really believe Auselu is the best she can do? Yes, she does. Explains why she married and had 2 kids with that dolt. Should she cheat just because he did? Probably not, but maybe it will give her an idea of what is out there. There are better, more intelligent fish in the sea, Kalani, promise.

I was so hoping it was " I tied my tubes. Don't want any more of your progeny." Kalani's comment was the correct answer.

Is it just me or does that resort look kinda janky? I mean, it looks like a place I would stay, and that's a low bar. The rooms aren't anything special and the beach and rocky water look pretty terrible. The staff seem nice. I don't think any of the couples should be together. Molly was very crabby, Angela is a horrible person, Jovi is an arrogant jerk, Asuelu is dumb as a box of rocks, Big Ed...the list is long. It is pretty good entertainment, though.

Well well well, Jessa had an D&C. An actual abortion, in my mind. The same procedure millions of women have undertaken, because their very lives were at stake. Or because they made very personal decisions that were their own business. Mother Nature is cruel at times, and I'm sorry any woman has to go through this. Even in her case. In Jessa's case, though, it is decidedly not an abortion because Jesus, and y'all need to stop the hating, because hers is godly! Give her a bit of time to heal, and she will be shaming and shouting at women at clinics because they are not godly like her. I'd like to be kind about this, and I'm trying. But she and her family have not been kind to other women, so it's quite a struggle.

Robyn Brown: She wanted the family, but got stuck with the man.

In most households I know of, if mom has a serious health issue the kids Dad is expected to step up to the plate and help out. There would be no reason I could think of that the 3 older kids oldest kid, Kody, could not take on laundry, cooking and cleaning chores. Even Sol and Ari a Grown Ass Adult could pick up after themselves and make their own the kid's beds. Etc. on doing the rest of the kid care-taking. It's called parenting, Kody. Asshole. -

You said it better than I did, but yes, this is the way I feel too. I am very sorry you were treated that way by your father, Stats Queen. -

Heather's family dinner (again with the Nobu, pretentious show-off) is so staged. Poor Kat, Heather shuts her feelings down because She Understands Teens. She is so accepting of her LBGTQ kids, y'all. Did you know this about her? I hope she really is, but putting it on camera every other second seems like she is using the kids as a storyline. Howives, please do not use your kids as a storyline. Thank you. -
Little House On The Prairie - General Discussion

I read it last year. It was my vacation beach book. I enjoyed it - Charlotte was not really Miss Beadle in real life, but I suppose that's a good thing. ML hit on her but she made excuses and he left her alone. 70's Hollywood was hard on actresses, in many ways. -

Ok, I've watched this show since day 1 and I have a question. So, I agree Kim Richards is/was a drunken mess. We have seen plenty of evidence on film and she has even copped to some of it. Up to the point of "I hid alcohol in my coffee cup at the airport." Fine. And Kyle vilified her for it and told her how she had destroyed their entire family for years. On camera. Nowadays, Mauricio is stoned and drunk on camera numerous times. Kyle has mentioned it at least twice, and tonight she is bombed on fireball and doing her embarrassing splits. Kyle and Mauricio are hilarious zany drunk stoned characters! So amusing! Har har! Kim is a drunk and shameful. Pity her. She is Kyle's mess to clean up and look after. Okey Dokey, Kyle.
