Amazon Prime has it's Christmas commercial out using the Blues Brothers "Everybody Needs Somebody to Love." Because "The Blues Brothers" is my favorite movie of all time (but I could be wrong, I've only seen it 50 times), I really like this commercial.

I don't have life insurance. If I die first, my husband will be quite well taken care of by whatever is left in my IRA plus our joint savings account. We have no debt. House has been paid off for about 15 years. Paid cash for both cars. We have no children. So why should I buy life insurance?

Yes, look at them. They're ginormous, headed into butt-wing territory.

Today's video is another "instructional" one from nobsdance. More arm waving, breast caressing, crotch touching. I think she's having problems selling her "dance" instructional videos, so she's adding short clips to IG to shill it.

The only food items I've bought from Amazon are "odd" items that my grocery store doesn't carry --- farro and halvah. I do buy my supplements (CoQ10 and Preservision) from Amazon.

Well, yeah. That's why I said "other than groceries...." Amazon delivers fresh foods from Whole Foods. Nope, too spendy for me.

I hate that commercial.

I used to tell people at Christmas, "If Amazon doesn't sell it, you aren't getting it." Other than groceries, I buy almost everything online. Except athletic shoes.

Today I saw an ad (on this forum!!) for a company called Gym Shark. Well, I'm always tempted by workout clothes, so I clicked on it. $55 for a pair of LEGGINGS to SWEAT in? GTFOH.

Sports bras come in varying levels of support, for various sports. Average size women who engage in sports such as running, volleyball, etc need a "high impact" rated bra. An average woman doing only the elliptical machine or stair climber can get by with a "light support" sports bra. Heavier women should always buy one level greater than what is called for by the activity. Ditto for those of us with big hooters (not Whitney's issue).

I heart that commercial. I just don't want to see it before Thanksgiving.

Brick and mortar stores are losing market share to online retailers. They've got to do *something* to get you in the door.......

I disagree, in part. I don't think she goes around half dressed because she thinks it's senshul. I think that leggings and a bra are the quickest, easiest thing for her to put on, and she's too lazy to put on anything that requires effort.

Well....Advent is not part of the Christmas season. It is its own season.

Ok, the reason I posted about Chase not posting anything about Twit on his IG was twofold: (1) I really think if they were a real couple he'd have at least one pic (2) Watch Chase's IG to see how quickly he posts one. Lurk much?

Well, I'd certainly be slightly more inclined to think he might be her bf IF he actually posted about *her* on *his* IG. ***more info in the smalltalk thread***

So today, instead of posting "miss you too" he posted "can't wait for the cruise." That post was 4 hours ago, so I guess she didn't see my earlier post until lunchtime.

I would guess that will be the end of Jeopardy.

I'm sure that as soon as she reads this post, she'll text him and tell him he has to post "miss you too" so people will believe they're a couple. So expect to see him post that tomorrow morning.
