  1. I think she's about 5'4" , and I have heard that the camera adds 10-15 lbs, so my guess would be 330....
  2. /sarcasm/ Poor Whit, obviously he's cheating on her. /sarcasm off/
  3. I'd love to hear @cherenkov critique this video, but she doesn't seem to visit the forum very often. It's racing season.
  4. Why does Lexus find it necessary to use a voiceover in a BRITISH accent? They're trying to sell an overpriced Toyota to Americans. Do they think the British accent makes the product more exclusive, ritzier?
  5. Trying being the operative word. Her squat still isn't low enough, the bar doesn't wind up behind her head, and she ends with her ass stuck out instead of tucked under.
  6. Jonathan has been around quite a while. Black dude, right? I think I first saw his ColPen commercials 6 or 7 years ago.
  7. Yeah, that was my objection as well. I quit my diet pop habit (not much of a habit, a six pack per month) cold turkey. She doesn't scare me like she does some folks. My attitude is "bring it."
  8. I love the new commercial for Portal from Facebook starring the Muppets! Of course I'm a fan of The Muppets (and Fraggle Rock too.)
  9. Oh gawd. I had hoped that commercial with Jillian Michaels for Soda Stream was in the advertising graveyard, but nooooooo.
  10. Well, true. But they're naturally occurring chemicals, not lab manufactured.
  11. Lips that touch margarine will never touch mine. 😉 Seriously --- I use only butter. I don't use a lot. It takes us over a month to use a pound of butter. There's no difference in calories between the two. As for cholesterol, my total cholesterol is 114, and half of that ---56 points --- is "good" cholesterol. So why in the world would I put a bunch of chemicals in my body?
  12. Actually, not necessarily. Some margarines contain milk solids.
  13. Aw, now you've done it. Her Lurkness will no doubt post a new one tomorrow. Also... appealing to ANYONE who has a large screen monitor. There does appear to be a ring on her "wedding" finger, but I'm on a tablet and can't see it very well. Is it her fakey fake ring?
  14. Gott im Himmel. I just saw my first Christmas commercial. GTFOH with that. It's not even Halloween. Oh... it was for that place in Asheville NC... Biltmore?
  15. Sounds just like me, except for the robe part. I do get (sorta) dressed to go to the gym, but as soon as I'm back home, I'm back in my shorts (or sweats, depending on the season) and a waaay oversized tee sans bra.
  16. Interesting. Whenever my husband goes to visit HIS family, I live on frozen vegetarian dinners (thank you, Amy's!!) and smoothies. It's not an issue of food preferences, but sheer laziness on my part.
  17. Honestly, I think it's part and parcel of her cultural appropriation of a certain segment of African American culture. There is a part of AA culture where the snap and wave dismissal is used by women well into their 30s, 40s, and even 50s. Just like her use of "yaaaas," "tryna," "Imma".... Dear Twit: you are not black. You are a southern redneck wannabe. It's not cute. Not even a little.
  18. I priced it out. For the cost of a Peleton, I can have 4 years of gym membership, which includes spin classes, weight training, a pool, hot tub, sauna, and all the group-x classes I want to take. And mine is a 24 hour gym, so if I get the urge for a swim at 3 AM, I can. Of course, I don't mind actually, you know, leaving the house......
  19. Not really. Women didn't wear slacks until around WWII. When women moved into the workforce during WWII, wearing dresses wasn't practical when crawling around welding planes and ships. After the war, when women were forced out of the workforce in order to make room for returning GIs, there was a strong social movement to define what was "acceptable" for women. The reemergence of women in slacks coincides with the women's liberation movement.
  20. But her worshippers won't think that. They'll think she's a FABULOUS teacher.
