  1. Due to some PTSD I pick up on potential addicts pretty quickly after meeting them. Anyway, Meredith’s husband sets off my alcoholic radar. Guy seems mildly drunk all the time and half of his appearances he’s asked about alcohol. I don’t like watching him. We learned early in the season that the two park city houses are both rentals, I think? That is the gossip around town anyway. Well, WAS, no one is gossiping anymore because I don’t think anyone cares.
  2. I keep laughing at this fashion week thing because I’ve never heard of that and I live in Park City. Most of the locals here avoid Sundance because it’s a cluster fuck but I’d hear about something like that if it were anywhere close to being important.😂 Also bring us more of the Deer Valley homes (the one for Justin’s bday). Those are the real house porn. i mean I just don’t know what voice Park City would have to lend to the fashion world. Everyone here lives in ski coats and sorels for six months out of the year. Maybe fun one piece ski suits or something? I mean, come on!
  3. I guess my local gossip source was right when he said that he has known Meredith a long time and she never mentioned her husband. I guess that makes sense now. I’m guessing at least half of these women are renting their homes for the show. I feel really bad for Whitney and her dad. He looked pretty bad. Also Meredith’s husband seemed sort of drunk on his appearances? Or am I just imagining things? The women on this show seem extra guarded and aware of how they’re being portrayed right now. It’s not entertaining. The only honest people seem to be Heather and Whitney. And maybe Mary? I don’t think Mary knows how to censor herself
  4. Yeah SLC proper and Park City are fairly liberal and non-LDS as for the homeless population being all excommunicated kids—that seems a bit sensationalist. They’re homeless for the same reason people are homeless other places. There are a lot of homeless people here because the church dumps a bunch of money into them as outreach, which has some unintended consequences. It’s a good place to be homeless, I guess. (Except for the weather) SLC did a big operation last year where they tried to remove them from a large park downtown, but they just scattered to other parts of town.
  5. Perhaps! They apparently do just rent a house during the winter though and Jen Shah seems like a beotch in these comments. http://www.irealhousewives.com/2020/02/new-details-emerge-on-real-housewives.html?m=1
  6. Some gossip from one of the local Park City Facebook groups 😂 Also a lot of people are talking shit because both the Park City ladies don’t really live here. They’re second homeowners. It’s a small town so people get offended easily, lol. Anyway thought I’d provide some local flavor for you guys!
  7. I’m not Mormon but I married into a Mormon family. I think it depends on the circumstance. Like if your husband was cheating on your or abusing drugs/alcohol? Sure. If you just wanted to bang another guy? Not so sure about that. That being said I’ve known a lot of Mormons who have gotten divorced and remarried and are still allowed in the church and everything so I’m not sure how big of a deal it is. The “seal” is more about the afterlife IIRC anyway. A man gets his own planet in the afterlife and can invite as many women as he wants, but a woman doesn’t get her own planet and has to go to a man’s. I think? Don’t quote me on that 😂
  8. The liquor laws have changed a bit since you’ve been here. It’s a little more relaxed I guess but it’s still a fairly regulated state. But people who complain about not being able to drink in Utah baffle me. There are tons of bars in downtown SLC. The drinks are measured so you’re not getting a triple rum and coke, but they don’t forbid you from ordering three single drinks instead 😂. Anyway, I’m here because I live in Park City and I like seeing local stuff on TV. The two women who live in Park City actually don’t have that “grand” of homes for the area. (I don’t either, not trying to invite myself on the show lol). I’ve just been to some homes here that blow my mind, but they’re second or third homes and people rarely use them. It’s so gross when I think about it. But maybe I’m just jealous. Also Whitney is what all the Mormon girls under 40 strive to look like, and a lot achieve, and Heather is what most of them end up looking like after kids and whatnot. Not in a bad way, just giving some stereotype context for everyone. 😂
  9. The rest of the guests reactions to Brandy tell us all we need to know, I think. People get callous like that after dealing with the same behavior over and over and over again. Initially they probably tried to help or tell her to calm down with drinking/whatever, but gave up after a while. Not sure why she was invited though. Maybe it’s like Vanderpump Rules where Kristin is the absolute worst traveler and pulls off similar stuff when they go anywhere, but is somewhat normal otherwise. She’s treated pretty much the same as Brandi was by the other cast mates, lol.
  10. i dont know... unfortunately, ive also had a lot of experience with alcoholics and craig triggers me all over the place. he has a substance abuse problem of some sort. i actually think the rage episodes are a stimulant of some sort... coke/adderall.
  11. Do you know why they use clear trash bags to pick up trash on the side of the highway in West Virginia? Window shopping!! (Go Hokies!)
  12. On the show, he and Ariana seem the most chill out of the bunch in regards to drinking, but from Instagram stories it seems like Sandoval is coked up out of his mind quite often. There are a lot of weird insta stories at early hours of the morning where he’s taking shots and his eyes are the size of dinner plates. Jax always seems pretty coked up too but he doesn’t seem to go out partying much anymore. Stassi and Beau are drinking in a good majority of their stories—Beau seeming to be the one who gets a lot more sloppy when he drinks. Kristin probably drinks a decent amount as well, but mostly just posts a lot about smoking pot and likes to make really long videos about nothing when she’s stoned. Anyway, not that anyone cared about my opinion or anything! Haha.
  13. Beau's performance where he plays Stassi's victim as well as her hero was pretty awful. She's going to be afraid to ever be upset about ANYTHING if it always ends in him crying and showing her his STRESS INDUCED HIVES and saying how lucky she is to have him. In that regard, he's almost worse than her other boyfriends. They controlled her by just being alpha jerks, this guy is just making her feel guilty for having opinions. He posted an insta-story yesterday--they were having a similar debate on The View, and Whoopie sided with Beau (just let him go out and party) and he was making insta stories to rub it in about how WRONG she was, as she sat quietly on the couch. I don't know--I mean... the real "solution" to that whole argument was for Stassi to go to bed alone and let Beau do whatever he wanted. But the argument couldn't even reach that point, because Beau went into full guilt-trip mode to make her feel bad and back down.
  14. I think beau's jacket is mixing with her dress and making her look pregnant. I thought the same thing when I saw it! But via their instagram stories she definitely is not pregnant! hahaha. What an unfortunate photo!
  15. I don’t know, I think beau is manipulating the shit out of stassi. I don’t think he’s doing it intentionally, but It still makes me twitch. Did you notice how she was the one with the (pretty valid) complaint, but by the end of the conversation he was threatening their relationship? “Fix yourself or we are done”. There was no concession from him that MAYBE he could have done something differently—he was just immediately the victim and said that she needs to change herself. But him? He’s perfect and she should recognize that, and there must be something wrong with her. And according to his Instagram, he drinks quite a bit. They both do. I can imagine this issue comes up quite a lot. They do seem like a cute couple, but if that is how all their arguments end...ugh..
  16. I have some exciting news to report! I was in Solvang on Wednesday for work and... the Ostrich farm is still there! Also for such a tourist town there didn’t seem to be much open late at night. I’m glad Kristen started drinking early.
  17. On the flip side of the breastfeeding thing... I breast fed my son for 2 years and enjoyed it a lot. After he was a year old I started getting lectured from people who thought it was weird. To be honest, pressure from other people (including my husband) was one of the main reasons I stopped. I was only really doing it to put him to sleep at night and when he was sick, but whatever. I heard that “when they can ask for it, they’re too old”. But I would never judge another mother for how she fed her baby, just as I didn’t really enjoy being judged on the reverse side. On the positive, I had to give up dairy for those two years because my son is allergic, and I lost a ton of weight and my cholesterol is fantastic hahha.
  18. It’s an entire movement now. If you feel like making yourself angry, go over to: https://www.reddit.com/r/TheRedPill/ im pretty sure Patrick subscribes to that bullshit.
  19. Does anyone else follow Kelly on Instagram? Her stories feed is her at a bar almost every single night. She is slurring and yelling in most of them but it's hard to tell if that's just her normal voice . I hope her daughter is doing okay =/
  20. I apologize for registering just to ask this question but... how much cocaine does Jax have to do to get his eyes to bulge out all the time? Jesus Christ it makes me uncomfortable to look at. I actually did some googling and apparently it can be caused by plastic surgery: https://www.washingtoncitypaper.com/columns/straight-dope/article/13047713/what-causes-sanpaku-eyes-and-what-the-hell-are-sanpaku still sticking with my drug hypothesis, though.
