  1. I debated whether to put this here or in Social Issues, but it's more about fan reaction, so.... Some fans tend to count Regina as a POC when it comes to her being oppressed (I know, WTF, right?) or people being mean to her; I've seen more than one person talk about the show being racist against her since she's a POC. But at the same time they don't count her as a POC when it comes to main-cast representation. I'm sorry, but you can't have it both ways.
  2. I don't think her family would be turned into Dark Ones, but would be taken to the UW in place of the dead Dark Ones. But, yes, that would definitely be a terrible way to hurt Emma. I also thought about Rumple cutting his hand and dropping the blood into the water in 5x11 -- either to close the portal for good or to communicate with Hook. But they have Merida's ale for communication, so I tend to think it would be to close the portal, since his blood would've been used to open it. I think Hook must have gone very dark in Camelot, so that's what point he immediately went back to once he remembered being the Dark One. (And I really hope they explain why he had no Dark One signs in SB before that, though TS, TW.)
  3. I have a theory that Rumple's blood on Hook's hook is going to be what releases the Dark Ones into SB. The blood of a Dark One who died and returned seems like the all-important ingredient if one were doing a spell to revive all the Dark Ones. That would be a reason why Nimue would want to cast the curse to get to SB, and would hijack Hook's desire for revenge for it. Nimue wants to be alive and corporeal again. I think Hook will poof away after bloodying Rumple -- that was his/Nimue's prime objective, with killing him being perhaps a bonus, but perhaps he stops himself from doing that. However, he then casts the spell to bring the Dark Ones to SB. But they each need somebody to take the place of them in the UW, so Nimue marks all of Emma's loved ones for death to punish her.
  4. Colin's acting was A+++++ in that clip! You could practically see the agitation and discombobulation radiating off him, like a million sensations were running through his mind and body. He and Bobby play off each other so well, since they're both so talented. Having Clippy in his head 24/7 is going to drive Hook bonkers. It was awful for Emma, and it will be even worse for Hook b/c of his history with Rumple.
  5. They better not have neophyte swordsman Rumple win, against a 200-year-old pirate who's now a Dark One.
  6. And they ignore Regina raping a white man for 28 years and then murdering him, so....
  7. Oh, yeah, there will be drama. There was quite a bit of drama on Adam's mentions on Twitter yesterday over that.
  8. I have a friend who is a huge Titanic nut and was for years and years before the movie. She once had a swanky 13-course dinner party that re-created one of the first-class meals on the Titanic, prepared by a friend who was a sous chef. It took like three hours and was totally insane but amazing. We all got to play a specific passenger -- I was Molly Brown, whoo!
  9. I'm not a big fan of it, either. I'm just going to keep chanting "Colin's acting! Colin's acting!" until it's over. There was a ridiculous article with ridiculous speculation that some people took as possible spoilers instead of the ridiculous speculation it was. Said article also speculated that Hook would use his friendship with Robin to turn everyone against Emma. Insert eye roll. It was full of laughable clunkers. He's definitely in 5x11 and seems to have filmed for 5x13 as well. (5x12 is the 100th.)
  10. So there's a score for 5x11 called "The Sacrifice." Either Hook is sacrificing himself, or Emma is sacrificing him to save everyone else. It's gonna be brutal either way.
  11. Mark Isham score for 5x11 title: The Sacrifice.
  12. I'm not sure if she meant she filmed with them together or separately. Like, she could've filmed with one and then with the other. But it would've been for 5x13, yep. I'm very perplexed by that spoiler, since we didn't see Zelena with the group going to the UW. And I find it hard to believe they'd be back from the UW that soon, though I suppose that's possible. Flashback? Flash forward? Zelena finds her way to the UW some other way? She died & they meet her there? WHAT???
  13. That is my question, too. He could be key while still being dead, because of some prophecy. Or he's like Obi-Wan Kenobi now. She told a fan at a convention this weekend that she had filmed with Colin & Jen on Friday. I suppose Hook could want to get back to SB so he could get to Rumple to kill him. Nimue, I have no idea. I don't expect any of this to make actual sense in the end. I just hope Hook comes out not completely ruined.
  14. It's not actually a press release. It's from the members only ABC advisory fan panel. This is the same place that the pic of Emma waving Excalibur over Hook in the field of flowers came from. They seem not to care about spoilers too much there! Spoilers for 5x10 are VERY scarce, but she's definitely in 5x11.
  15. I have that book but haven't gotten around to reading it yet!
  16. I love all the Down With Love fans coming out of the woodwork! I really thought hardly anybody had seen that movie. Never Been Kissed! Michael Vartan! Although the most far-fetched thing about that movie is a copy editor with her own office…. I literally had to stop the tape and roll around in laughter over that one. Has anybody else read the book that The Princess Bride is based on? It's hysterical, too!
  17. They look far too happy in scenes where they ripped out our hearts, LOL.
  18. There is a charity T-shirt of regular Hook, for a charity his brother is involved with. I think the sale is practically over, though, so get it now if you want it!
  19. Yeah, Rumple is along for the mission. Apparently he & JMo filmed some scenes together apart from the rest of the group. And good point about the adjective.
  20. OMG, yes! Yay, somebody else loves that movie, too! It has such a specific tone, but it really hit my humor sweet spot. (It is more spoof than satiric.) "A Life Less Ordinary" sounds utterly bonkers.
