  1. August is returning? Man, I hate that guy. He's just like Neal to me. They're equally culpable in screwing Emma over.
  2. Colin and Jen finally got some Teen Choice surfboards, albeit from fans instead of the TCA.
  3. I have doubts that Disney would let the show kill off a Disney princess -- especially one who's the star of their upcoming live-action movie. If anybody leaves/dies, my money is on Rumple because I get the vibe Robert is Over It.
  4. Once adjusted down to 1.2 & 4.11m viewers. Big adjustment but still better than last week.
  5. I'm 99.9999999999999999999% sure. I wonder if there's any significance to the fact that Ashley basically took on the Savior role to try to get Clorinda her happy ending. And she ended up stabbed like Emma.
  6. According to here, the ep held onto the viewers the entire ep (even rose a tiny fraction, 1.325 to 1.329).
  7. ITA that the fandom is not enthused this season. I just remarked to some friends yesterday how slow the Twitter chatter about the show has been this season. It's a reflection of the show IMO. The finale was lackluster at best (a massive turn-off at worst), the first two episodes of this season weren't any better, and the story line they've set up with the EQ doesn't seem to have sparked much interest. Seems like there's general boredom and fatigue among the fans AND the writers. The show keeps going back to the same old well and not exploring or concentrating on things that might actually get the fandom excited. There's no buzz at all this season. Even CS fans, who I feel tend to be the most positive & excitable, aren't chattering; of course, there's next to nothing in spoilers to chatter about. Plus the show has gotten so dark and grim and hopeless, that has to cause a depression in fandom zeitgeist as well.
  8. Given the rest of ABC's ratings woes, I may have to revise my prediction from a shortened S7 (which I'd prefer) to a full S7. I can't shake this image in my head of the ABC execs blowing on the ratings sparks of Designated Survivor & Speechless like dehydrated Survivor contestants, trying to stoke them into a raging fire they can sustain.
  9. Wasn't sure if this should go here, but I couldn't find a better place. Screen time charts for 6x02 & S6 so far.
  10. Once is always susceptible to a half-hour drop because Sunday Night Football starts at 8:30 Eastern. But it doesn't always drop, so something else must factor in, whether it's boredom/dissatisfaction with the ep or the football matchup being particularly good. I don't know. It didn't drop last week.
  11. Last night's fast-national ratings. Once had a 1.2 for the first half hour, dropped to a 1.0 in the second half hour, 1.1 overall. It's gonna go below 1.0 in a few eps.
  12. I don't actually expect a TLK, I was mostly being facetious, but some sort of heroic move by Regina to save Emma. They've pretty much spelled it out with neon letters.
  13. Yeah, it's obvious (and has been obvious since SDCC) that Hook had something to do with David's dead dad.
  14. Seems to me that they're copying the format of S1, only replacing Emma's role with Regina and Henry's role with Emma, even down to using Operation Cobra. That's what they meant about going back to S1 format. Emma fears Regina is under the hood, so obviously she's not. Emma is seeing Archie like Henry did. Regina is set up as the Hero. Emma will die like Henry did, but Regina will save her with some sort of True Love sacrifice. Hell, maybe even an actual "friend" TLK. So E/R will get a TLK while CS doesn't. I'm gonna hate this season so much more than I even thought! Although TBH I'm actually kind of laughing about it, the way it's set up is so obvious and bad. This show, I swear.
  15. This year's ad rates. Once is in the top-middle of ABC's rates, though with a 30% drop from last season.
  16. I think it being Emma herself under the hood makes the most sense, but since it's TS; TW, it won't be what makes the most sense. It will be what is most messed up.
  17. FWIW, Jafar's lamp in OUATIW was a different shape. It was more an urn. Sadly, because I think it will spell the end of the show for me, I think that Hook will be split and he's the figure under the hood who kills Emma.
  18. Oh, man, that sucks! I'm so sorry! What a hassle! I did not have to parallel park for my driver's exam -- which is good, because I was never taught how to do it. One of my first days on the job, I had to go pick something up and had to parallel park. First time I ever tried and I got in on one perfect motion. The epitome of beginner's luck -- and it took me years before I could duplicate that feat! I have no idea how it happened. When I took my driver's test, the car wouldn't start. They told me to go pull the car around, and I had to sheepishly walk back in and say that it wouldn't start. I was so embarrassed. Luckily somebody there went out and looked at it and it was just a wire had come loose, so I was still able to take the test. A friend's daughter failed because she couldn't drive backward for the required length. She ended up going to another city in the county where they don't require that. I find it utterly bizarre that two cities in the same county would have different requirements. I think my driver's test must have been pretty lax. I simply had to drive for awhile and do a three-point turn.
  19. Same. That was the episode that irrevocably broke my trust in the show to pay off what they had set up for CS and to not let everything be about Regina ever. I was ::thisclose:: to stopping watching, I was so disappointed and angry.
