  1. According to Leaf Lady, Colin & JMo are filming tomorrow.
  2. Maybe JMo simply couldn't bring any real emotion to it because she recognized how effed up it was & was pissed about what it did to Emma. Or maybe it was a deliberate acting choice not to make it "real." Any such decision would be on the acting level & not the writing level, because the writing isn't that nuanced.
  3. August: "Neal appeared to me in a dream to tell me all about Charming's father, because he's just that much of a hero! Did I mention what a hero and good guy he was?"
  4. Exactly. CS fans are complacent & thought they didn't have to show support for CS, Hook or Emma, so they just ignored the Stop Once Upon a Hook business as pointless noise that would be ignored. But the SQ tactics worked. CS & Hook have been all but written off the show; they get zero focus or significant moments anymore. Clearly, A&E listened to the the anti-CS faction because that minority of the fandom was louder than the CS faction and because it lined up with what they prioritized. They played A&E like a fiddle while the CS fandom stayed in their corner and yelled at any CS fans who brought up any issues to Adam.
  5. Oh, co-opting serious real-life issues in an attempt to score ship points and run down CS/Hook is a tried-and-true method for them. Facts & canon don't matter to them in the slightest; it's all about repeatedly spinning things in a way they can use as a bludgeon against CS/Hook, regardless how ridiculous the argument or framing. It's worked well for them in the past with Adam, even though others can see right through their machinations.
  6. Filler or no, I feel like we should parade around on a sedan chair and wave palm fronds over any episode not centered on Regina or RB this season.
  7. Liam 2.0 actor posted on IG that he's back in Vancouver next week. Stands to reason since we know already Captain Nemo is back. Let us not hope that Emma meets this brother. That didn't work out how we wanted with the first Liam.
  8. They certainly wouldn't do it out of the kindness of their hearts. Networks pretty much never do anything without a $$$$$ reason. I could see an abbreviated season working if there was another show they needed/wanted to hold for midseason and it would take over Once's slot, making a short Once season an easy, stop-gap filler. Regardless how it was marketed, it would be about Regina and her happiness only.
  9. Pretty fascinating piece! "Once" was pretty close to the top of most homogenous popularity, which I wasn't expecting. I was amused that it has a fan concentration around Orlando, Fla.! Stands to reason.
  10. Merry Christmas if you celebrate it, happy Sunday if you don't! ?❤️️?
  11. Scandal & Murder don't tag-team. Scandal airs at 9 p.m. & Murder at 10 p.m. Murder does just 15 eps a season, but Scandal had a reduced order this season only because of Kerry Washington's pregnancy; it will probably go back to its usual 20-ish eps next season.
  12. I honestly doubt ABC has too much to say to A&E, because they have so many other things to worry about. I kind of doubt they'd expend the effort on trying to "fix" Once. It's clearly on its last legs, so IMO they'd just let it die without any intervention and put their energies elsewhere.
  13. Looks like it got a 1.2 in Once's time slot. Compilation of ABC's pilots & the situation it's in. "Once Upon A Time is dying but could live one more year since ABC won’t be able to launch too many new shows at the same time next fall."
  14. A&E clearly listened to the loud Hook-haters & CS-haters from last season. Neither of them has a story this season or likely will have one. They've been totally sidelined. Practically written off.
  15. The coconut macaroons I made were gluten-free so my GF co-workers could have something. The first batch I didn't like the consistency of because the only binder was egg-whites (I didn't have any GF flour), so I added some almond flour to the second batch & they turned out better.
  16. I went a little crazy baking Christmas cookies this weekend -- I made eight kinds! Chocolate crinkletops, fudge toffee bars, sugar, ginger-lemon, oatmeal peanut butter, cranberry orange pecan shortbread, coconut lime macaroons and chocolate almond coconut macaroons. I always bake a bunch to take into work.
  17. Yes, I'm sure there's been tons of secret CS filming in studio. While Jen has been in LA for the vast majority of 6x13 and 6x14.
  18. Because they're the ones whose interests are in line with A&E's. So A&E take their opinions as validation while ignoring all other opinions.
  19. There's never any good spoilers anymore. It's always people I don't want to see filming, never the people I do. Jen and Colin haven't filmed together since one quick scene for 6x12. I also think Ginny must have requested a lighter load, because otherwise YIKES. But A&E would have known that when they promised the Year of Snowing BS.
  20. I came ::thisclose:: to quitting after the 4A finale when there was no payoff to the Hook's heart arc & Emma dumped him to go have shots with Regina. I wish I had listened to my gut and quit then. I haven't watched an ep since 6x06 and I haven't heard anything that would tempt me back into watching. Unless there's some sort of change, I don't think I will tune back in. I may watch a stray CS scene on YouTube if I hear there are any worth watching. But as of now, I'm done. Guess I'm not a hero because I didn't thank the show for disappointing me!
  21. Sonequa Martin-Green (Tamara) has been cast as the lead in Star Trek: Discovery. Tamara in tomorrow!
  22. It is, I linked it upthread. It's from Marc Cherry.
  23. Robert & Emilie have wrapped for the holiday hiatus. JMo, Gosh, Lana & Sean are expected to film for the final two days this week. Colin's status is unknown (but with the way this season has gone, he's probably already back in Ireland). (Source)
  24. The thing is, we don't really know what the contracts are. We can guess based on what's typical, but it's simply guesswork. And that's immaterial anyway -- contracts bind the actor to the show, not the show to the actor. In other words, a show/network can drop any regular at any time they want with no repercussions (unless a contract is structured unusually). Look how many characters are killed off each season! I believe if a regular is let go in the middle of the season, they're paid for the whole season, but that's it. It's very much in favor of the network. Shows in their last year do tend to let go of regulars in order to cut costs, which is often a network mandate for renewal.
