  1. On the positive side, the Twitter snark has been glorious. And in what is absolutely 100% completely a coincidence and in no way, shape or form related to the Hook spoiler kerfuffle, Adam releases a Hook script tease. (You can't see me, but I'm looking straight into the computer monitor like it's a camera and I'm Jim from The Office.) In other news, another "source" says the Lost Boys/Vikings/whatever filming was a flashback and included Blackbeard. I dunno.
  2. The extras may not have been Lost Boys. They may have been Beowulf Viking types. Brigitte was writing a Zelena scene. Aaaaaand Eduardo Castro drawing of Hook in the wish realm. Remember, this is Eddy's fave thing evah.
  3. Hearsay report that Colin was on set, though nobody has said they actually spotted him, so take it FWIW. Lost Boys would fit with Tiger Lily. That filming was at a beach. Other filming was at the sorcerer's mansion, though no reports of who was there I've seen (admittedly, I haven't really looked).
  4. Ugh, couldn't get rid of the old reply box I already replied to ages ago! Big Once fan site is shutting down at the end of the season. Truthfully I never followed them, but I think they were pretty well-known. It seems even hardcore fans are rapidly losing interest.
  5. LOL, Adam and his stalking fans' untagged tweets. This is far from the first time. He really does go looking for crazy drama. Probably to distract from the actual issues! He can shoot down a wild theory or concern, people applaud him for interacting with fans and so ignore how he ignores real issues.
  6. OMG, what a thought! Maybe there could even be a Regina-Gideon-Zelena triangle just to really up the ick factor!
  7. OK, I have a feeling that Jasmine will be made a regular next season. We know there will be "new" characters. Karen David just RT'ed a bunch of articles and posts about the show. I mean, she's a prolific Tweeter, to put it mildly (I unfollowed very quickly because of her sheer number of posts), but she's gotten beyond breathless lately. Also, her obsession with tweeting about Colin is giving me a serious case of second-hand embarrassment. Anybody who followed her during Galavant, was she like that on Twitter then? It's definitely a bit much for a guest star.
  8. Yeah, she also said she didn't know about contracts, so she has no contract info. I think she's just guessing.
  9. This is me. If I'm seeing a magical musical romance, I want a happy ending. My friend and I both left the theater sad and pissed off and feeling like we'd been had. I mean, I don't always demand a happy ending (I still appreciate the hell out of Atonement, for instance), but it depends on the setup. Don't bait & switch on me! I also had trouble with the sound mixing! There were a lot of lyrics I didn't catch.
  10. My feeling is that the Hook/princess adventure is alternating with whatever adventure is going on with the Emma/everybody else group, so Jasmine will be with Hook & the others for several eps, apart from whatever is happening in SB or wherever the others are. ETA: And now I've gotten a mental image of the Emma crew dragging around whichever of Snowing is asleep at that moment a la Weekend at Bernie's.
  11. Was that the picture of the actress with champagne or something else? Apparently she tags everything with young Zelena tags and some people said she was in Vancouver for a pilot. But if there's a pic of her on set, then I guess it is for Zelena!
  12. Outside revenue stream is definitely a consideration. I think the soundtrack is part of what kept Nashville going on ABC for longer than maybe its ratings warranted -- but that didn't save it from being canceled last season. One thing ABC should weigh -- but I'm not sure if it does -- is how the show's quality and storyline could dry up that revenue stream if the show pisses off fans too much. Are fans going to spend a bunch of money on a convention for a show that made them angry? Fan passion tends to decline over time anyway, but I think that would be hastened along if the show goes badly. Are, say, CS fans going to want to spend money on dolls or novelizations if CS doesn't get a happy ending? Some will, some won't. Personally, if a show pisses me off badly enough, I won't spend another penny on it, regardless of how much I may once have loved it. I mean, I won't even watch an ep of Quantum Leap to this day because its finale pissed me off just that badly. If it had left me happy, I would probably have the DVDs. You want to leave fans with a happy nostalgia if you have hopes of an outside revenue stream, not anger. The hardcore fans are the ones who spend the money but they're also the ones who are invested enough to get mad about something. GA may be annoyed but will get over it quickly, but they're not likely to go spend a bunch of money on a show anyway.
  13. Not my source, just throwing out FWIW info! I'm firmly in the "it could go either way" camp. IMO there are reasons I'd buy on both sides. I can see ABC wanting one more season as a stop-gap because they have so many other fires to put out. I can also see ABC wanting to just say the heck with the dwindling aging show and roll the dice with a new show. I just know any season without JMo & Emma would be trash. But ABC would do it in a heartbeat if they think they can make some money off it.
  14. FWIW, a post about TV contracts. As I think I've mentioned before (my memory isn't what it used to be!), given how contracts can be renegotiated mid-contract, we have zero idea of when anybody on Once's contract ends except for JMo, because she said so. And I think we can say with confidence that the contracts of Colin, Emilie & Bex do not end this season because they signed theirs later. So, yeah, we are John Snow and know nothing -- except that JMo has a decision to make if there's a S7 (assuming A&E and ABC want her back). And her take on renewals. I could see it that ABC has indicated to A&E that the show will probably/maybe be renewed for S7 but JMo is still uncertain and negotiations are still ongoing for her to be in S7. ABC wants things from her, she wants things from ABC, and the question is whether they can come to an agreement or not. JMo strikes me as someone savvy and confident enough to play a bit of hardball to get what she wants. I would totally buy that she'd want contracted fewer episodes in S7 and not sign on for multiple seasons. Meanwhile, ABC would want a guarantee of multiple seasons. I just hope it doesn't end up in an Angel situation. Fox would only contract with Joss Whedon for one more season, Joss would only contract for two more seasons, and in the end, there were zero more seasons because of it.
  15. I kind of wonder if they'd go so far as to have two scripts written for the finale, depending on whether they hear about renewal before it films. There is not a lot of time at all between Once's return and when finale filming would start. A week to two.
  16. She posted the day before about just starting writing the ep, then after 15 hours of writing, she posted the "end episode" pic. That implies she wrote an ep in 15 hours to me.
  17. Brigitte had to write her ep she was just assigned in 15 hours. That doesn't exactly inspire confidence they're on top of the story, does it? Or that it's going to be good. I'm sure they're scrambling and changing things left and right, since they have only a few eps to wrap up the story in a way that could serve as a series finale (if they bother to do that). Also it made her cry, of course.
  18. See, though, Adam often says he meant things when he said them, but then the story changed. That's his standard reply to being called out on things he promised that didn't happen. Instead of saying, "Yes, it's still happening" to you, he replied in a cagey way that seems like a confirmation but actually isn't. And he never actually said they'd be on this adventure TOGETHER. He often says things in a way that on the surface obviously mean one thing, but when you really parse the quote, he's not actually saying what it seems like. I think this is probably one of those instances where he said something in a way to lead fans into thinking one thing without technically saying it. There's wiggle room.
  19. JMo filming with everybody BUT Colin again. That CS adventure is gonna be fab! So epic.
  20. JMo filmed with Lana, Ginny, Bobby & that "bartender" guy.
  21. You're right, we don't know whether they have. Probably CS is separated on separate adventures, Hook with the princesses & Emma with Regina (of course) and her dad.
  22. Oh, yeah, it's simply my reading of the situation. Nothing but a theory! I just feel like SOMETHING is going on that's affected the storyline, Emma & CS this year, so my mind is constantly trying to make "sense" of it. As for "sources," I'm all for healthy skepticism. I never take anything as gospel that somebody I don't know says on the Internet (and often even if I do "know" the person!). On the other hand, I've been in situations with other shows where I knew things that I couldn't reveal how I knew because it would "burn" the source. So I just take things as possible truths but not gospel.
