  1. I think you have a far better chance of getting your wish than those who think it's going to get better and CaptainSwan will get focus and an arc. I certainly noticed! But it was after the show took off the entire week of Thanksgiving, so he may have just shaved for that week. But I think it probably does point to him not filming for at least a few days afterward. From what I've seen, hardly anybody filmed for 6x13 except Rumple, Gideon & Belle. Bex was apparently in Vancouver for the recent snow, because she posted an IG video of it. And I seem to remember she snapchatted from the set at some point this month.
  2. There was also a week's break after that Merida ep for the music awards. FWIW, I just read an article today about ratings for The Walking Dead taking a big in-season drop this fall. Most networks would still kill for its ratings, but it's suffering too. Once isn't going to help ABC at all next season even if it comes back. It's a pricey show with a bloated cast and rapidly falling ratings that will fall even more in the spring. I think ABC is going to throw all sorts of new stuff out there to see if anything sticks. To extend Eolivet's football metaphor -- they're going to open up the playbook. A draw to the Once fullback isn't going to cut it.
  3. Season 6 is the TV show equivalent of fingernails on a chalkboard. Oh, goody, an EQ flashback! We haven't seen her in EVER so long! Jesus wept. Meanwhile, Jen has filmed like two days in the past four weeks. But, sure, the second half of the season is going to be better than the first. Riiiiiiiight. We know Robin comes back to SB -- he was there when Emma fought Gideon.
  4. Also a Southern gothic soap from Marc Cherry starring Reba McEntire. And there's that theme park show, too, plus another from the same creators.
  5. He had a rough childhood so his crimes are certainly not his fault. Leia should apologize to him.
  6. I don't know whether Canadagraphs was nudged by someone from the show to release it, but there's no question that the timing is certainly convenient for the show. I wouldn't be shocked. I think it could also be simply CG wanting to bring visitors to his site and knowing that the engagement news would do that. He said that the post brought the most traffic to his site in two hours than any full day since July.
  7. Oh, gosh, I'd forgotten about that! Craziness. I can't imagine that Disney would let A&E anywhere near Star Wars. It's still a massive in-process franchise. They don't need A&E mucking around and making Luke a serial killer.
  8. I think I'll just steal your list with the caveat that I didn't watch Wish You Were Here. If I had, sounds like it would have been No. 1. I hate all of the episodes you listed. But I would also throw in Souls of the Departed. Between the Neal opening and the rest of the 100th ep being about Regina, it deserves to be on the list.
  9. Of course! Because if Regina isn't happy, nobody can be happy. Emma will tell Hook no & then leave to have shots with Regina. Also completely viable. For whatever reason, there won't be an actual engagement until at least the end of the season. Heck, A&E may use a CS wedding as a bargaining chip for trying to get a S7. Like ABC would care at this point.
  10. Except they would've had to know this is the last season when they wrote this ep, and they wrote it ages ago. Unless Emma says yes in the penultimate ep & they rush them to the altar in the next like your RB example. Man, I hope it's a bigger 'do than that RB wedding.
  11. Worst episode for me is Breaking Glass by far. I still rage and flip tables when I think about it. (Keep in mind I didn't watch Wish You Were Here.) I'm too sleepy to think of the rest of the list. But that one is a no-brainer for me. Absolutely offensive.
  12. What was that name some people were calling it? Operation Fuckagoose?
  13. So Charming's father is apparently a ghost. Yep, Hook killed him. Are they ... actually pretending that David's real last name is Charming? I hope the photog got that wrong or they're just using that facetiously or something. I don't like that Hook asks David for permission to propose to Emma. I know they're all old-fashioned fairytale characters and yadda yadda yadda, but IMO a marriage proposal isn't anybody's damn business but the two people involved and nobody needs permission to ask. Call me new-fashioned. Plus it steals the thunder of an actual proposal scene. Also, this is far too early in the season for an engagement to happen. It's not going to happen randomly in the middle of the season. Either stuff will happen and Hook won't be able to propose for ages or Emma will say either no or maybe, but not yes. They'll drag her yes out until the finale. Or if she says no, then she'll propose to him in the finale. (I'm picturing Bones, where they kept taking turns proposing.) Maybe getting engaged is the "epic adventure" A&E were talking about. Though the way this season has gone, I expect Emma to say no.
  14. Details of Charming/Hook scenes filmed in SB for 6x12.
  15. I absolutely agree. That's the major component that led to the show's demise faster than maybe it should have. The show is simply no fun anymore. It's an unrelenting downer and has been since 4B. And there was never any notable relief from the angst and depression, no moment for the characters to breathe and be happy. If the show isn't enjoyable for viewers to watch -- guess what, they're not gonna.
  16. OK, then that was late February. If the timeline were the same on a decision, that wouldn't give the writers much time at all to change things for a wrap-up.
  17. No media outlet is reporting it because there hasn't been a public decision to report. However, at least one speculation site is putting Once in the "tossup" category, leaning toward S7 but still a tossup. None of these renewal-spec sites has a perfect record, so it's not like anything they predict is take-it-to-the-bank gospel. Nothing is guaranteed in the TV biz. There was a TV show I watched years ago that was on CBS's in-house board as renewed the night before the upfronts. They canceled it overnight before the upfronts. Anything can happen.
  18. I have this idea that final image will be Emma & Regina sending Henry off to college in the "real world" and congratulating themselves on how well they raised "their" son. I don't know when A&E were told, but the renewal was announced on March 3. That wasn't an official announcement; ABC didn't comment. It seemed to be based on a source revealing they hadn't gotten a back-9 order. That has been pretty typical evidence of cancellation, so the writer may have assumed the show was done-done, but that doesn't sound like it's the case here.
  19. The writers did drastically change their plans for 5B once they came back from the holiday break last year, but I think that only really affected the eps from mid-arc on because they already had several eps in the can, as they will this season. So they might be able to alter the last few eps of the season/series if they can bring themselves to admit they need to, but it certainly won't be enough to save the show. I don't think A&E will admit to themselves that this is likely the final season, so they won't prepare for it. Unless ABC tells them it's canceled with enough time to actually wrap things up, A&E won't have a contingency plan in place. And let's be real, A&E will write the finale, so there's no chance it won't be SQ-centric crap.
  20. Thank you for your input! Do you think they could give the show a shortened S7 as a bit of a stop-gap to getting another show in next midseason, or not even that?
  21. Ah, bless you! You deserve the forum equivalent of hazard pay! Although, the "otherwise" isn't that reassuring. They'd probably love it if Regina is happy and Emma is somehow miserable in the end. How edgy!
