  1. I guess I'm 1) too distrustful of A&E and 2) too concerned about what they will do to CS after the wedding, especially if Jen doesn't re-sign for next season, to get overly excited about the engagement/wedding. And that's a sorry state of affairs! It's really coming off like a box they're ticking off rather than something big that's being built toward. I don't think A&E really care about the CS wedding at all; it's not a priority in the story, more like a quick something they're throwing in to placate fans.
  2. Emma already has the engagement ring on in 6x19, so they can't get engaged in 6x20. Maybe they can sing their vows as they get married by Regina in 6x20. (Honestly, who else would it possibly be?) One can NEVER underestimate the troll level of A&E. I don't believe a word out of their mouths. Given their history, the most romantic thing coming up may be Hook putting the toilet seat down. (I kid. That would take place in a domestic situation, which obviously would not be shown.) So CS news couldn't even fill its own article, but Regina is going to fill two articles. Lovely.
  3. Gotta guess ABC isn't too happy with the first-night ratings for When We Rise. They seem to having a real problem creating buzz for anything. We'll see what happens with Time After Time, but based on their current state, I'm not expecting much.
  4. The next show I'm excited about is Feud: Bette and Joan. Sounds like it's gonna be fabulous! They just announced that S2 is going to be Charles and Diana.
  5. Not Once, but ABC: Modern Family is wrapping its season on Friday, the cast isn't contracted for next season and negotiations haven't even started. Sounds like it being produced by another studio is making it difficult. But I'd be shocked if they didn't work it out. That "specially shot" promo was awful. Maybe they have some magic internal focus-group feedback that the EQ is super-duper-popular (which somehow doesn't translate to ratings), or maybe the Channing regime has a case of the Regina perma-boner, but it was really weak.
  6. They really seem to be putting all their eggs in the Regina basket this season, both in the show and in promotion. It doesn't seem like a wise strategy at all, but I guess she's an easy and iconic character for a quick promo to focus on. Also, since as far as we know Jen hasn't signed on for S7 and fandom rumors say Lana is contracted for S7, they may feel they don't have much choice but to tout her. We don't know who else will be a part of S7.
  7. Harrison wanted Han Solo killed off in Empire, so I don't find it a bit hard to believe that killing off Han could've been a condition of his participation on TFA. I don't know about phone calls, but Adam has DM'd multiple fans on Twitter. Both are pretty unprofessional IMO.
  8. Wow, that Best Picture mixup was terrible for all concerned! I hate it for everybody. The La La Land people were so excited and had it taken away, then the Moonlight people couldn't really fully celebrate because it was so awkward. I have to give the La La Land producer tons of credit for being so classy about it.
  9. If Jen doesn't sign on for S7, A&E will be thrilled they can have it be All Regina, All the Time. Even more than now.
  10. I read a quote from Robert from an interview awhile ago in which he was asked about a possible musical ep, and he said something akin to that he would have to be tied up and dragged to set, and he'd probably still escape to avoid it.
  11. If Jen doesn't re-sign for S7, I hope A&E don't take it out on Emma. They seem petty that way.
  12. Eduardo has done that a few times before. It's hilarious. He also released the Boozer Hook sketch. I guess it was worth noting that JMo's been liking wedding dresses on IG all season.
  13. Because A&E don't think it's one of the biggest moments in the series. After all, it's not Regina getting married. I'm sure they figured S7 was a shoe-in for renewal -- and it would have been if the abysmal double-Regina arc hadn't tanked ratings. But even with that, they KNEW that Jennifer and Robert's contracts were up at the end of S6. They gave Rumple a lot to do because of that but couldn't be bothered to give Emma much of substance and instead separated her from her True Love for the bulk of the season. A&E suck.
  14. I would like that post a million times if I could @Shanna Marie!
  15. There are times when I wonder if this show is some sort of weird social experiment by A&E, to see how far they can go in having what they show be in opposition to what they say, and have people believe the latter over the former. And then I realize, nah, they're not that intelligent.
  16. Ha, somebody on Tumblr actually analyzed the earbuds and did a graphic for it!
  17. Spoiler Room: Can you tease anything for Henry on Once Upon a Time? I feel like he gets overlooked in spoilers… — Katherine Yes. In fact, you could say that Henry’s gig as the author kicks into overdrive, which makes some residents of Storybrooke nervous about what that means.
  18. Sadly, same. I've become so disenchanted with the show that my reaction was literally, "Eh, whatever." Given the show's track record, I can't get excited because I know it will likely be rushed, poorly written and unsatisfying, like all "big" emotional moments. Once I lose trust in a show's writers, it doesn't come back. It does however make me think even more that next season is going to basically be S1 redone, with CS in the Snowing roles (if Jen returns; if not, Emma will be killed or cursed off after giving birth -- how hopeful!) and aged-up Henry in the Emma role.
