We can't take casting notes as 100% gospel. They have fudged, misrepresented or outright lied on them before. Things aren't always literal. "Broken home" could have connotations beyond the obvious divorce/separation. I remember a time when people thought we were getting King John/Richard the Lion-heart based on casting notes.

I made a vow earlier to spit at A&E if they cast a Hispanic girl as the child of a Native American woman and Caucasian man. But I could see them doing that as a way to keep Hook around if/when Emma's written out.

I love your sports analogies, @Eolivet! I feel like ABC hasn't decided to cancel it yet, because if they had, they'd be touting "THE FINAL EPISODES!!!" to try to get a ratings boost.

I don't know who the wording came from, just that it was going around Tumblr. If it was from her, yeah, she's a very biased source; she loathes Jen. Emma doesn't have to die to be separated from Hook -- she could be cursed away somewhere, stuck in a box, turned to stone, whatever. See, I don't think A&E will do a satisfying ending if there's even the remotest possibility of a S7. They need to do something to try to entice people to turn back into the possible S7. New people and Regina aren't going to do it on their own. They will need CS/Hook fans to tune in to make the ratings even potentially viable. Even without the possibility of S7, I don't trust A&E to wrap things up satisfactorily. They always put a nasty twist at the end of everything.

My feeling is that the only regular characters who will be back for S7 are Regina and Hook. Possibly Zelena. I can't see ABC letting go of Colin even if Jen leaves. They will need him to draw viewers for a S7. And since they have only one script, I don't think it will matter whether the show is cancelled or not as to how they leave things in the finale. There's some talk on Tumblr of Emma being written out "in a way she can't come back from." I don't know where that came from or the veracity of it at all. But I definitely don't expect a happy ending for Emma if Jen leaves, whether the show returns or not. I just don't trust A&E at all.

FWIW: Also for the OUAT fans was told by a Full cast member this morning that if theres a S7 they will not be a regular on it. Take that as u will They as in the person is a full time cast member but would not be next season . Guest spots but not a full timer We can rule out that being Jen, because she's not in Vancouver for him to talk to.

The concept of Hook and Regina as a couple makes me wanna hurl, because I LIKE Hook. I would never, ever want a character I like anywhere near Regina. Colin has chemistry with everybody.

Season 7?

Set stalker says Rumple is being killed off.

Just one theory for how I could possibly see things going, with the bulk of the cast leaving except for Lana (because obviously they’d have to pry Regina out of A&E’s cold, dead hands). This could set up a Regina-centric reboot. Because let's be real, Lana isn't going anywhere. Something happens and everybody will have to return to the EF a la “Going Home” – except, once again, for Henry, since he was born in this world. Emma will be able to stay with him because she is the Savior, but that would part her from Hook and her parents forever. (We’ll ignore that people seem to be able to travel realms at will these days; perhaps whatever happens will permanently seal the walls.) Regina will stab and kill Emma in order to become the Savior and stay with Henry. If they’re giving Emma a happy ending, Regina will then split Hook’s heart and revive Emma with half of it, but Emma will no longer be the Savior. Everybody but Regina and Henry will return to the EF. Henry would understandably then grow up friendless and hopeless into the aged-up version, since he’ll be stuck with only Regina in his life.

Maybe they're using the specter of Emma dying to distract from everybody expecting Rumple to die. Why are they spending time on Jasmine and Zelena in the finale? So weird. And apparently Jen isn't filming today or tomorrow because she went back to LA yesterday.

According to set stalker, crew hasn't heard anything about renewal yet, which is unusual.

According to set stalker, one of the people being listed as renegotiating -- their character is actually being killed off. I know everybody will assume Rumple, but I still worry about Emma. Zelena and Jasmine shenanigans.

Nielsen finally coughed up the ratings: Once stayed the same at 0.9.

Networks trying to make renewal decisions must be getting more frothing mad by the second!
