As soon as I saw that, I knew the usual suspects on Twitter would make it sexual, instead of it being a reference to a sleeping curse. I was 100% correct, if you look at the replies on Twitter. I rather think Adam did that on purpose to bait them.

Apparently Colin and Sean were on set today, singing an impromptu duet, according to Keegan Connor Tracy on Twitter (which implies that Blue was also filming). Something else that needs to be on the DVD extras.

Leanne clarified on Twitter that Colin wasn't offended at all, just curious.

I don't know why Adam et al don't have an issue with the SQ behavior on Twitter, but they're in effect condoning it -- heck, SQ fans even have their own pet writer now. Adam thanks fans for their "passion," when often it's simply rudeness or hatred, and I think that's an unfortunate message. So much of the online environment is toxic because of the anonymity, and IMO Adam and Scott Nimerfro, in particular, only make things worse by interacting with some of the most toxic SQ BA's. Maybe Adam doesn't see particular posters' tendencies like fans do, but his answer copping to the mistake with Cinderella's baby was in response to IMO the absolute worst, most notorious, most hateful of the SQ BA's. So that'll only encourage him to post even more. It's incredibly frustrating.

Yeah, Natalie Abrams loathes Hook -- she was a big Neal/Swanfire fan. It's pretty pathetic how biased she is and sad that she's the TV writer for EW with such blatant biases. If it's any consolation, other fandoms hate her and think she's biased, too, to the point of designating one person to copy & paste her articles so as not to give her hits.

I kind of thought the reporter made a misassumption and Colin either didn't want to correct him (because who knows what they might change/retcon on this show) or didn't quite get what the reporter was implying. Based on the same/similar quotes in multiple articles, I'm pretty sure it was a conference call with multiple reporters at once.

As of now, I can't think too badly of a pirate/sailor who wants to get rid of the voice that was causing ships to be wrecked. I'm sure there's more to it than that, but it seems like self-preservation to me (plus all the other pirates out there). I wouldn't be surprised if his king-hating played into the situation with Poseidon.

I've decided the E! poll is a metaphor for my Once experience: It started with fun, hope and excitement, and ended in frustration, annoyance and haters within the fandom. (Actually, it applies to most of my fandoms.) LOL.

A fan ran into Colin & Sean on the street with their families. That is one lucky, lucky sandwich filling. (Colin is toting Evan, who has been cropped out. Excuse me, let me go pick up my ovary where it rolled out.) To make it spoiler: Sean said they had a few days off from filming.

This is interesting, given the amount of trolling in the Once fandom: Ashley Judd is pressing charges against Twitter trolls.

If anybody is interested in doing more voting, SQ is in the Elite 8 of this Zimbio poll. I don't know who their opponents are, but they seem like a lovely couple.

The new order for E! voting is to type each new captcha with all the tabs, instead of copying & pasting the first into other tabs. Seems like it's helped some after people started doing that. The Zimbio poll is kind of odd, IMO. Some really popular ships didn't make it out of the first round. I don't think it's nearly as widely followed a site as some others, like E!. But if a fandom is together in voting on it (like SQ), they can advance.

I didn't like iZombie as much as I thought I would. It was OK, but it felt more to me like Rob Thomas was ripping too much off himself/Veronica Mars. I'll give it a few more eps to see how it develops.
