  1. As usual, the initial charge will be the only thing that sticks in the fandom mentality; the truth that comes out later will be quiet and ignored.
  2. They can do the commentary by phone. Colin did his commentary for The Jolly Roger by phone from Ireland on a conference call with David Goodman. And it depends on the group whether it's fun or not. There was an Alias commentary with the whole cast and it was a hoot! And I seem to remember the Ocean's 11 commentary with a bunch of the guys was a blast, as well. (If I'm remembering the movie correctly. It may have been another cast of thousands one.) Oh, yeah. Dark Swan tasting Regina's "forbidden fruit"! Clearly they've decided the apple is their through-line image for each season, but it hasn't made sense or been pertinent since the first season.
  3. I'm guessing the Rumple "training" Emma is a mental representation of the Dark One. But, come on, Emma, why the hell would you trust even a Rumple inside your mind?? And I am so bloody sick of the apple imagery on every poster. It didn't make sense with Frozen, and it doesn't make sense with Dark Swan. Though I guess it is truth in advertising, since they make Regina overshadow EVERYTHING. "Broken Kingdom" could also have a double meaning, in Snowing's "kingdom" of Storybrooke.
  4. List of eps with commentary tracks: I find the choice of eps kind of odd. Why nothing for the finale? Seems like that should be the one with commentary by JMo, Adam & Eddy. (I fear A&E will talk mostly about how Emma screwed up by saving Marian/Zelena and she owes Regina her happy ending, blech.) Family Business was meh. Sympathy for the De Vil was focused on a guest star. And I think I would rather stick a knitting needle through my eardrum than listen to Lana and Jane squee over Regina. So Colin's is the only one I'm interested in, TBH.
  5. Colin has closed some ground -- he was at 49% and now it's 50/50, though Sam is still slightly ahead. Some Sam fan tagged Colin several times calling him a welcher. I hate that he saw it. Goes to show that actors DO sometimes see the crap people post. And, Lord, there's a bunch of crap.
  6. Notice they're not apologizing to the people they accused of hacking him. Sounds very much like "Ethan" was a sock puppet for somebody, then they used that "Ethan" account to try to set up the CS fandom for hacking him. Kind of a mini MsScribe scenario. But somebody got suspicious and figured it out. Here's another post about it, but it's not especially clear.
  7. Adam got mad about the bloopers & deleted scenes being put on YouTube, and now Disney has blocked them on copyright grounds.
  8. I've been reading the Astronaut Wives Club board, because I've been loving the show & the historical stuff they post there is extremely interesting. I occasionally read & may comment every now & then on a few other boards, like HTGAWM, Poldark, Falling Skies or Orphan Black, but not regularly. Once is the only board I visit daily.
  9. Pretty much all online polls will be macro'd/botted/system-gamed. It's the nature of the beast.
  10. Jen has canceled her scheduled appearance at FanExpo Canada. They're trying to book someone else from Once.
  11. Scott Michael Foster/Kristoff yelled "WHAT IS THAT??" while pointing at the sky. I'm guessing a plane went over, LOL. Somebody is uploading the deleted scenes, too. No deleted CS scenes, but apparently a lot of Regina ones. There was even MORE Regina than we were already subjected to. Imagine.
  12. I loved when Colin was so excited that he actually got a bull's eye in the dart scene. And then when Josh kissed him after JMo did. "He's so dreamy!" And "Save me, David!" And "Hook, I didn't know you were enjoying us." And this was fun: Ginny: Why did you say my line? Josh: Because you didn't! It was kind of the Socha/Maguire blooper reel, though!
  13. So much better than last year's. Though The Mindy Project's 12-minute blooper reel scoffs at Once's 5 minutes of bloopers.
  14. Hot Topic finally added the Hook mug, so I ordered that and one of the Hook shirts. They have a 20% off sale with the code "SCHOOL" until the 13th, and shipping is free if you have it shipped to your local store.
  15. Oh, honey, I was around TWOP back when it was Mighty Big TV! I was posting in the X-Files board. So you can at least feel younger than me, LOL!
  16. It could go either way, honestly. Though given the show's track record of dropping things I would be interested in, they probably dropped needing the Jolly Roger. So, table flipping. But it's also feasible they decided it would be easier/cheaper to do it on-set with CGI. I don't know how expensive it would be to get the ship up there & rent it for the time period they need, but it's probably more than using stuff they already do regularly.
  17. I hope they didn't change their story plans for needing the Jolly Roger, only decided that it would be cheaper/easier to do it with CGI/set work.
  18. Tidbit about the Jolly Roger from somebody who was visiting the real ship:
