  1. I haven't seen the episode, but since Major has already done much worse things than dosing Liv with weird brains and kidnapping her, I can look past that.

That would be jarring. The comic nothing in common with the show except the name.
  3. Great episode. I always love hearing the annual "Carry on My Wayward Son" montage. Always gets me charged up. I was briefly afraid that they would end the season on Lucifer's stealing of Jack's grace. So I am glad that it ended with Lucifer finally dead. Wasn't at all surprised that Michael went back on his deal with Dean. No way he thought that would hold up. Dean probably won't be possessed by Michael for the whole season though. The British Men of Letters had that grenade that can force an angel out of a vessel, and Ketch is still around and may know how to build one. So Donald Trump is president on this show too? Just a year ago, President Nondescript was possessed by Lucifer when they sired Jack. So it's like they threw continuity out the window for the sake of making a lame quasi-political joke.

I'm glad to hear that. They can wrap this all up. I do hope the producers don't try to do something stupid like introduce a cliffhanger at the end of season 5 to try and convince fans to pressure the network into a 6th season.
  5. Becky looks great for her age, although that big ugly tattoo is really distracting. I like scenes where she is in long sleeves. I'm with you. I get turned off if a show gets too bleak. I stopped watching The Last Man on Earth in the middle of season 3 because of this. I watch TV to be entertained, not depressed.
  6. I thought the emergence of Roseanne's opioid abuse was a good twist. I didn't expect that. Opioid abuse scares me because there's a legitimate need for these drugs but I'm always worried that I'll get hooked on them if I end up in a position where I need them.
  7. Are you kidding me? That show was unwatchable.

Ooh. A fifth season means that feral zombies can ravage the United States while Liv spends the whole episode talking like Yosemite Sam after consuming the brains of guy who mildly enjoys chili cook-offs.
  9. The season was a great change from the pattern of "Pied Piper starts with a great idea, then it falls apart by the end of the season only for them to come up with some new plan". Did anyone understand the plot? Why was it so critical for one group to get 51% of the user base?
  10. Not really. I remember travel episodes always being pretty weak. This one rankled me too. I'm so tired of hearing about Denmark and Norway. I should leave it at that because if I go on any further it'll turn into a big political rant.
  11. I thought they had already been planning on sunsetting Brooklyn Nine Nine. I swear I heard this earlier this year.
  12. Grabbing Gabriel's blade would have been useless. As Ketch pointed out in a previous episode, the Archangel Blade must be wielded by an archangel to kill another archangel.
  13. I liked this episode. I like most episodes that aren't "monster of the week" variety. I don't understand why the boys left Gabriel and Lucifer for last. Now that they have no archangels, how are they going to open that rift again?
  14. I can't say I'm surprised this was not renewed. It seemed like it kind of ran under the radar and was never a big hit. Last Man on Earth was also cancelled? That's a shame, because with the season 4 cliffhanger it seemed like they were about to stop spinning their wheels and actually give a thought to a sustainable future for humanity.
  15. Dr. Etter is an interesting addition. Dr. Now said he was mentoring him in doing bariatric surgery on the super morbidly obese. I wonder if Dr. Now is preparing to pass the torch. He is in his 70s. If he's not thinking about retirement then he's thinking about his own mortality. If Dr. Now isn't doing surgery any more then he isn't doing the show, which means they'd need a replacement.
  16. If you go way back to the pilot, Liv's hair was brown while she was still a human. They usually call that a "Cousin Oliver" in reference to the character on The Brady Bunch.
  17. I knew the cryptocurrency thing would be a disaster the second Gilfoyle came up with it. It's like he's pinning the company's future on a vague hope that a made up asset would magically become valuable. I was spending the whole season wondering how Richard would destroy the latest iteration of Pied Piper through his mismanagement. What exactly was Richard's plan to monetize his "New Internet"? What is this anyway? Just a weird way to replace servers and routers with "things that have storage and an IP address"?
  18. I thought it was weird that Ned went to school to teach, but Rod and Todd didn't.
  19. While playing with their expensive new collie, "Laddie"... Homer: "Oh yeah. A dog like this you gotta feed every day."
  20. I have only watched about half of the episode so far, but when she said that, I got a strong feeling she wouldn't succeed.
  21. I am getting deja vu. Wasn't there a separate show called "One Ton Family" earlier this year? Is this just a repackaging of that?
  22. From "Trash of the Titans", whenever someone wants me to opine on some political figure, I say "I don't know Ray Patterson... but he's no Ray Patterson."
  23. Skinner: "Mother put cardboard on her half of the TV again. We rented Man Without a Face. I didn't even know he had a problem!"
  24. Is he actually running Seattle? He seems more like a puppet of the Fillmore Graves junta.
  25. So... still no reaction to Fillmore Graves attacking a newspaper? Or, less recently, two zombies escaping quarantine?
