I've been watching videos on Facebook made by Gideon Patinkin-Grody featuring his parents. OMG, those old farts are hilarious. Mandy & Kathryn are so funny answering questions Gideon gives them. In one of the videos, Kath mentions stuff she doesn't like about herself. #1 was her face becoming pudding. I know what she means. ...because for damn sure the people that work there don't know anything. I once asked an employee if they had "these cabinet knobs, not in polished nickel, but in chrome?" He had no idea WTH "Chrome" is other than Google's browser. Remember when our cars had LOTS of chrome on them?

I thought FJ was an instaget, but I'm gobsmacked - I looked it up on the Broadway Database (ibdb.com) and Struthers played the neatnik & Moreno was the slob. I would have sworn it would have been the other way around. I bet they had fun.

Maybe she mixed up the L and the X and mean XLII, as in 42 is the meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything.

Apparently, I "liked" too many posts in too short a time. Sheesh.

I just got a notice on Facebook that my account is restricted for an hour, as a post I made went against community standards. But they don't tell you which post it was. WTH? The picture of the cats' feet and the Valentine candy saying, "Feed Me"??? The picture of the King Cake with the Mardi Gras beads? At least here on PT they tell what the hell you said that was wrong.

Since the new season hasn't started yet on Acorn, I started watching one of the three movies that were made prior to the series. It's odd seeing someone else as Murdoch or George. As much as I'd like to see Colm Meany as Brackenreid, it was too disorienting to continue watching. I barely got past 15 minutes.

We've got a local guy - an investment advisor - who advertises right before CBS Sunday Morning. He's so great, he's gonna give you this wonderful FREE offer - anyone who calls that has an investment portfolio of $500k or more can get a free retirement consultation. I'm sorry, but if somebody's got half a mil, they probably already have an advisor. I find him & his free offer incredibly annoying.

My SIL just called & said the same thing. Who ARE these people? She turned off the TV & is reading. Her daughter works at a supermarket and worked from 10 last night til 6 this AM, getting snacks ready for the SuperBowl shoppers. She said the refrigerators are FILLED with chicken.

I keep thinking about John Belushi's "Little Chocolate Doughnuts" SNL fake ad. Oh, here it is...

I looked (via the Insta-Cart website) in Publix, Aldi, Sprouts, & Kroger. Kroger has tubs of Bleu cheese and Gorgonzola. I remember my Nana buying it when I was a kid - it was a round cheese, wrapped in foil. Now it comes crumbled in plastic tubs. ETA: Amazon's got it for $5.99 a tub.

There was a feature - a sidebar running down the right-hand side of the screen - that had popular threads. Out of curiosity, the Harry & Meghan thread was always there, so I'd read some of it. It didn't seem all that toxic to me, but several times, the ability to post new comments was removed. Then it'd be back, removed, be back, and finally went away. Now I don't even see that feature any more. I love y'all.

Have y'all read that blue bar at the top, "A Fresh Start..." Man, I have no idea what they're talking about. Not even the "Commercials" forum deteriorated that badly, and they've got plenty o'negative stuff to say over there, but it's all about the crappy commercials. I'm so happy I've never been caught up in any of the hateful stuff. Pat yourselves on the back. I like hanging around nice people. LOL.

I use Dropbox Paper for a page that has all my "bookmark" links plus clues as to what my user name & password are any given site. I had to highlight Primetimer to remind myself not to check until Monday, 3 PM. (And then I stayed up all night, went to bed at 1 PM and slept 12 hours, so I missed the 3 PM reintroduction.)

I'm bewildered. What is the real song you're mentioning? I can't think of any that these lyrics, satiric or not, would fit.

It's like I have a twin! I ALWAYS say the wrong one, even when I try to fake myself out and say the one I don't think it is.

Apparently, my brain was on a break all week, as well. 0/5 Grub Hub screwed up my order and instead of getting my one 6" Subway sandwich, they gave me the order of Lisa R. (so easily confused with Lucy P, I guess) that had TWO cheeseburgers, tortilla chips & bacon queso sauce, an order of home-made chips, and a giant order of tater tots with ranch dressing, all from Bad Daddy's Big Burgers. AND they refunded my Subway order. ALL that food for free! Cheeseburgers! I WAS in Paradise!! I hope Lisa R. was able to re-order. She'd have been mightily disappointed in my roast beef half-sub.
