  1. Not to mention Steve Martian most likely has it in his contract to film less hrs. On a show like this he can film most of his scenes for an episode in two days. If they work on a 7 day schedule/ 12 weeks filming it means he’s not on set all day. Each week results in an episode filmed. That’s why big guest stars can come on set, film a few scenes and be out of there with no one the wiser.
  2. That very thought was the first thing I came up with, given Oliver’s almost meltdown over the unknown results. It would fit with the family secrets theme if the season. They better not hurt Lucy! Your telling me security at cony island is still using paper, and no photo I’d for them? After 9/11 I can’t believe they are that stupid to leave such a gaping security hole. Im sorry, but Selena Gomez voice is the most boring thing around. It’s so monotone even when supposedly excited. It like she barely opens her mouth and talks with her teeth closed.
  3. Did the unaired episode explain this out of the blue weapon invention? Because that opening was abrupt and confusing. I too thought it was a simulation. Oh silly Mochlans! Just as Telaya said you lack imagination etc. Why would you assume she wouldn’t want at least equal control of the command? Sorry but not sorry, Charlie needed at least another season to make this death meaningful even a smidge. Her sob story just never resonated enough. Your in a military job, death is something that can happen especially in war. Get out if you don’t like it. Being Seth's gf doesn’t count. Who only makes one weapon. There is always a prototype first, in fact several prototypes. Not to mention the schematics for the weapon have got to be with Issac and the union. Hope they are under lock and key.
  4. I forget, does this series take place after or before Talos lV? If it’s before , I now see why Spock went to all the trouble to help Pike out after his accident. Pike has let him know about and involved him. Which begs the question what makes Spock go from emotional to unemotional logic in the span of about six years. So was Spock first officer in the alternate timeline? It wasn’t clear, since Una wasn’t around. Poor Ortega still stuck as the chief helmsman? When the Romulan commander pulled aside his officer, it was framed through the two security guards. I honestly thought they were going to be Tal Shiare , sent to spy on the crew and enforce the Praetors commands. That whole scene was eerie.
  5. Save the Vulcan, Save the Timeline! I have to say that was a interesting time story, that surprisingly didn’t work out in the end. So many times these time messing stories “just work” and everyone just goes on their way. At least Pike got the chance to see what might happen. Paul Weasley would be better on a remake of Bewitched, lol. That guy looks like a pencil pushing geek, and is cold as ice. Where is the brashness of young Kirk? The charisma that made women swoon? Sam Kirk totally doesn’t know his brother. I saw a theory once that Kirk actually got more starfleet but still kept that wander spirit as he moved up and eventually took over the Enterprize. He must be a hot captain to take over the Enterprise , the flag ship in just a few short yrs and so young. This version did not convince me he deserved that flag ship. Scotty! Or at least his voice. I wonder if they just used an old voice recording for that? La ‘an gets to be Kirks chief of security? Second in command? Glad she went back to Starfleet at least. Why wouldn't he? It's not like he saw a shot of her moping in prison when he held the time crystal. But Una isn’t a fixed point, since the timeline was changed slightly thanks to the letter. This time I think he will fight hard to get her back. The alternate timeline seemed to imply he did nothing. I take it Ensign Christina is both navigator/ weapons/operations crew? I can’t figure her assignment. Spock, The Most Interesting Guy in the Universe, I don’t usually save universes but when I do rest assured I won’t let you know!
  6. Well that sucks, I was really warming up to Hemmer. His friendship/mentoring of Uhura was touching. I’m guessing we get a certain scot to take his place. Wow this ep went to each plot point quickly and telegraphed the out come . The triage cadet and Davis? we’re goners the moment you found out who they were and a big occasion happened for them just before. Hemmer was a surprise though, but the moment the Gorn spit on him I figured it was how they spread. Kudoos to Star Trek for remaking the Gorn into a serious threat! This is a remake I can get behind and enjoy. Their abilities seem almost based on Predators. I m curious though how the Gorn grow an empire, all they seem to do is kill each other and then everyone else. Sigh this show insists on pushing Spock and Chapel together even though he’s practically a married man. Considering we have at least 6 yrs before TPring finally dumps him I’m thinking they may just retcon that as well. And what is with the blatant racism against him from Sam Kirk? That was a cheap shot. I guess we now know why the captains quarters and the crews are so huge. The two ships are virtually the same , so that means just over 100 crew.
  7. I must have missed where Tal disappeared or did they insinuate that he took the portal to the other earth? So how did Tal and Superman Fire reach Ally in space but JH and Nat reached her in the portal? That did not make sense. So this Superman is on separate earth? After all the crisis, after all the set up Supergirl and the Arrowverse did to bring this Superman back to the small screen, CW/WB and HBO just said screw them , this is a different show? Yeah no screw This show! Why make a new Fortress! Was the original one wiped away? So Intergang and I suppose Darkseid is season 3 villains? Yet another villain Superman can barley beat, and this time he has no back up.
  8. I honestly think this will happen, accidentally perhaps just to set up next season of the Kent family angst 😂. Sigh…when Kara got like this the DoD and later Lena etc had a nice sun bed for her to recharge. Granted it took time even after charging but it did happen. This bumbling around for poor Clark is needless hand wringing. Clark and Kara etc are sunlight magnets. This should not be a head scratcher for everyone.
  9. LOL, Well the whole premise of the show is a love song to Trek. As for the ep itself, man I would have been way more pissed off at the alien for all that occured. Even Trek treats its Q with contempt and anger.
  10. This has been bugging me since the beginning! Having both the Captain and First Officer always on the away team is just maddening . I like the Picard idea, let the first officer take a team down. Its the same with the current Trek, they do the same thing. Ed is either vain and prideful or very untrusting of his officers.
  11. This was so contrived. I never understand how these take overs happen. Unlike future Enterpises everyone besides the some of the medical staff should be starfleet trained and have access to a weapon. Heck even the medical bay should have weapons. It should be the duty of every crew member to take back the ship, yet other than the bridge crew, no one was even trying? So apparently Starfleet has no visual ID ? Because this plot would have died if they had actually looked up the record of the humanitarian. Second these are the nicest pirates ever it seems as they don’t seem eager to kill. Not to mention the alien guy wasn’t even the captain, so why was Pike even bothering? Was he that much of a jerk first mate they wanted him gone? The problem with pirate eps is that in order to work , serious compromise must happen. Pirates today only go after very small ships with very limited crew. They don’t bother with say military ships because of the crew size. Same here. So we get Sybok , who Spock is once again happy to divulge. What happened to him , for him to clam up so much that Kirk etc didn’t know a thing about him? At this point Spock is an open book. What kind of protocol gives a civilian permission to mess with a ships security etc? Spock should have told them to sit tight but instead involves them? Yet another contrived situation.
  12. Sorry but Reva has plot armour all over her. She survives being stabbed as a youngling, survives a thermal grenade, and then survives being stabbed through again? Rage or anger does not justify this survival. As a youngling she certainly didn’t have it.Here I can see the revenge stuff fuelling her anger to live, maybe if she had some medical help but she’s left alone. She should have died right there. Qiu Gon is like “seriously”? Nice to see Hayden , but come on Disney spring some money for better de aging or at least better makeup/lighting/camera effects. 40 does not look 20. Taila! Why did they kill her off. She was one of the best new characters. Vaders flaw is his arrogance etc. I said this when he let Kenobi go . He thought he could play with his food and now may not get another chance.
  13. Lena Luther is exhibit #1. We had to spend a whole season of her throwing a temper tantrum and sulking about the whole thing. And Lana is closely acting the same way. I get it she’s a little mad but this much? There is no reason for it. Unless it’s jealousy about Clark finding happiness with Lois, while she was stuck in Smallville with jerk Kyle. It’s the only reason I can think of to go after Lois like that and Jordan.
  14. The Prime Directive in the future would include this even with warp power. The Feds/Starfleet are not allowed to interfere in another society’s culture, no matter how gruesome it may be to their sensibilities. But I think this rule change only happens in Kirks time. Only if they wanted to join the Federation would The Feds insist on general rules to join, and this world would have to change. But then as we’ve seen the Prime Directive is treated more like a gentleman agreement than rigid rules by various Captains in the future.
  15. If the Krill find out what's really going on, i forsee them going in and eliminating that station/species. That alien made a very huge threat. The Krill will see it as a duty to cleanse the sector of evil.
  16. When she rescued Obi Wan. He stood there watching as the droid and Tailia helped Kenobi. She even looked directly at him. The flames were not that high or anything that would have obscured either of them. There is no way Vader missed them walking away.
  17. No she just said she had a droid when she was young and that it was taken from her like everything else. She did seem to have time though after watching that scene again. She doesn't leave with Leia when she's dragged away to be tortured. Reva arrives later to start up the chair, so she could have planted the tracker I guess. Its just the way it was filmed , the timing is questionable. Im with you on all of this. I get the feeling no one bothered to watch Clone Wars or Rebels. At this point the convenient plot holes are just silly , lazy writing. Tahila should have been stopped the moment she flew near Fortress Inquisitorius because there is no way Vader didn't record her face. As for dispatching her collegues, again lazy writing. No way people didn't hear that, not even it they were walking into the place could they miss her fighting with someone. Everyone wants to say Vader was torturing Kenobi by letting him go, but this ep seems to prove other wise, the guy is mad that Reva lost Obi Wan? When he was mere meters from him and could have used the force to drag him to him? Nope just plain bad writing. Yes Jedi can delfect blasters from ships. Both Rebels and Clone Wars have shown this.
  18. It was ok opening episode. The show though seems to be stuck between being a tweener and a teen hero show. The flourishes with the art etc were a bit excessive and only emphasized that Kamala was very immature for a 16 yr. On the other hand I know 16 and they are immature any ways lol. Maybe because the actress is a teenager, she acts her age instead of 22yrs pretending to be teens. The family dynamic was interesting. How old is her brother suppose to be? Because he looks like 24 and should be out of the house with a job. The mother , daughter situation is a trope of just about every Indian show I've seen. It had Bend it Like Beckham written all over it. And why is it the Dad is always the lesser of the two parents, when in real life they are usually the more severe? Bruno is fun, I hope he goes beyond just friendly tech help buddy. As for the powers, sigh I guess they didn't want to introduce the Inhumans to explain it and of course they haven't introduced mutants so magic it is. It's just getting frustrating that magic is now the explanation for powers in the MCU.
  19. Not a bad episode. Glad to see Obi Wan is getting better being a Jedi, though those blaster blocks were questionable at best. Leia once again uses the force and no one seems to recognize it except maybe Reva, who doesn't even bother to tell anyone about it? The way they are just glossing over it, because Luke is the chosen one is just silly at this point. The Jedi trophy tomb of the Inquisitors was creepy. But really who captured most of them, Inquisitors, Clones or Vader? Poor Tera Sinube! And I think Plo Koon? didn't recognize the rest of them. When did Reva even find time to plant that tracker, inside Lola no less? I could see on the outside, but inside? She never had time. Taihlia is great addition, but there should have been no way she could walk on to an imperial area without being caught. Vader I'm sure records everything he sees. Her face should have been plastered everywhere on wanted posters. Which brings us to Vader. Who apparently lets Tahlia rescue Obi Wan, walk off with him, fly him to Jabin , and then wonders how and why Reva loses the guy and gets mad about it? Dude he was right there, defenceless Vader could have killed him there. This is Vader/Anikan's flaw. He's so arrogant about his abilities or so blinded by rage about Kenobi that he's letting Kenobi get away instead of finishing the job. Anytime else he's a master strategist and tactician . Reva needs to die, she's just a terrible character, a Mary Sue who keeps getting favours from Vader. No one else has ever gotten such favour in past series from him.All the Inquisitors are terribly acted.
  20. Ahh we didn't get anything from Hemmer! Still a great episode. Is Enterprise a teaching ship? I would explain why a cadet sits on the bridge and those ensigns looked like teens. I believe Christine Chapel becomes a doctor by the first Star Trek movie. She is really growing on me. Not sure why she is so insecure. Her crush on Spock does not seem to abate in the coming yrs. Not to mention she's much more direct and open than the original. Spock! Something happens to him between now and when Kirk takes over, because either the writers have decided to just throw out all that back story or something very tragic or life altering happens to him to make him the very stoic and controlled person he becomes. Dr Mcoy jaw would be dropping to the floor if he ever met this Spock 😂 La an and Una, lol such fun. But it does point to the fact neither seems comfortable with the lower crew. Lower Decks has to take a run at this. I love the space port. Having a whole lake area in space is cool. And they have animals there as well. I love how we've gone from sterile space ports to the JJ Abrams space port to now the Starbase 1. These places are big enough for flying vehicles to manoeuvre. Pike is just super hot! That green jacket/shirt was a great update on the Kirk era version. Not to mention almost nothing gets by this guy. He's incredibly perceptive . Spock and TPring. Something is not right with those two. Its clear as bells Spock doesn't really try to make TPring the centre of his life. He does lose himself in his job by the time Kirk comes around. Heck he hasn't even seen his parents in yrs by the original era. No wonder Starfleet started to include families on board. I can see them losing very valuable crews to the choice of family or work.
  21. Didn't the Bajorians use Solar sails to explore the galaxy long before the Feds?
  22. Loved finally seeing the planet. So beautiful and elegant.
  23. Yeah, I think the girl who said Run, is Reva. We will probably get a flashback again explaining why she knows Anakin is Vader. I suspect she saw and overheard the clones refer to him as Lord Vader during the attack.
  24. This, poor Obi Wan, he was so detached from the force he completely missed that Leia was using it. Hopefully now that he's using it again he will pick up on it. I must say only a few positives in either episode. The Reva character is just not working for me, she is too much over the top acting tough. Im guessing we will see a flashback again of her escaping and coming across Anakin killing the younglings and the clones referring to him as Lord Vader, which would be one way she knows who he really is. I seriously doubt Vader told her anything about himself. As for the GI, Rupert Friend just was not cutting it. He could be dead but have to wait and see. Still it actually doesn't mess with Rebels too much. Given the way the Inquisitors compete with each other and that Vader himself kills them off at times, having a new GI step in makes sense. Im baffled that Organa was all, "your my only hope Obi Wan", when he has Ahsoka working the operations/intelligence side of the Rebellion and could have gone to her for help. I'm guessing we will hear or see Qin Gon in the last ep as it's clear Kenobi did not head Yoda's request to seek out his late master. From here on out he gets stronger and is the Kenobi of A New Hope.
  25. Well she passed MBega’s blood test and he was none the wiser. I’m thinking her genetic manipulation had something to do with humans so as to pass medical tests at least. Something like that has to be it because your write , any medical test/examination would have revealed who she was instantly. Just mentioned the same thing, she was modified to pass for human and their tests when she decided to join.
