  1. Maxwell Lord should actually have that device since we saw it with him at the end of last season. Non was using it to help his plans along.
  2. Sooo are we not getting a Prev TV review this week? Unless I missed it somehow? Anyone care to point me to it? As for the ep, I liked it overall but Cadmus has to get darker and scarier and more threatening to the heroes for this season to get better. Lena continues to be a grey character but I really hope she turns out good for Supergirl while still straddling the fence. Somewhat like Maxwell Lord did at the end of season one. I think Kara really needs a friend outside the confines of family, love interest and work. I do get the feeling that she already knew about who her real parents were, she was just waiting Lillian out to admit it. This also means that Lex could also know already or figured it out early on and is striking out in jealousy and anger over who should have control of Lex Corp. I just want to see Katie McGrath on my screen all the time and on the good side for once. I really think they have done a huge disservice to Sugergirl. This season has become a rehash almost of season one only it's all about boring Mon El who is clearly lying to her the whole time he's been here, but Kara is now written as such a wishy, washy, indecisive puppy that she will forgive anything to find love and acceptance. Which is not how she was on CBS. I get the feeling that the CW really wanted a Superman spinoff but couldn't find any one to bite and took the last character that looked like a superman that they could get away with- Mon El. Every scene they have is cringe worthy and eye rolling. MR Mkxy should liven things up but I get the feeling it will end with Kara and Mon El falling into each others arms and declaring their great love for each other blah blah blah. They are pushing this forward despite the lack of chemistry these two have.
  3. Yes that was the older Robbie, who Ramie did meet and start to suspect until time changed again. Not sure if that time line erased. I hope this is picked up somewhere else there were some loose timelines that needed to be explained. Did Gordos dad die and he decided to become responsible or he was just scared by it? Why is Frank still dead why did none of the timeshifts change his future?
  4. Lillian did say Lena was her father's favorite while Lex was Lillians. That would make a lot of sense and I would bet just may be reveled down the road. It would explain why Lillian has never been nice or loving to Lena, seeing her always as the insult to her marriage. Lex I bet figured it out early and clearly until recently accepted Lena as is and grew to love her in his limited way. So I hope this means Lena is friends again with Supergirl because that whole reason is the fastest and dumbest reason to turn evil. "You insult my mother who I know is bad so now I hate you too". It was rushed and fake sounding and had no background at all.
  5. I disagree that the various powers don't have physical or mental changes on the people they affect. Cisco is now having mini strokes. When using his powers, Barry got accelerated healing, Citizen Steel was healed from hemophilia , Ronnie was a mental case before figuring out what happened to him. So for some gaining these powers can alter them physically at least. So why can't they alter you mentally/psychology? What's to say that Caitlin use of her powers each time alters her brain chemistry to the point she becomes a sociopath or even psychopathic.
  6. I honestly think that Caitlin's change could be physical or mental. I see her change as a allegory about mental illness. It warps you and changes you. You need counseling and drugs to control it, hence the cuffs at the end she was wearing to control her power taking over. Maybe this was the final breakdown/meltdown that pushed her over the edge. She comes from a high achieving family, she worked hard to be successful at an early age and got chosen by a brilliant scientist to work at a prestigious lab. Suddenly it all collapse on her, she loses her finance/husband twice, watches him turn into something she can't control, watches him sacrifice himself and die, gets manipulated by a crazed killer who kidnaps her, abuses her, meets her evil doppelganger and watches her get killed and then she gets powers out of nowhere thanks to Barry's time meddling. That is enough to send anyone over the edge. She obviously was fighting the effects on her the whole time until Barry called her out and the normal Caitlin came back. How long she stays is up to her. Not to mention that in the real world I think it's been documented that tumors etc can have an effect on a persons personality etc. So there are a couple of ways that she could be going bad or good or just in the middle. We don't know how this Caitlin Snow body reacted to the explosion or why she did when the normal time line seemed to leave her alone? Maybe like Jesse and Wally she was caught in the energy wave instead of being protected? Who knows since the show insists on leaving the actual story off stage and let the gaping holes be filled with "Flashpoint" every time something comes up.
  7. So they wasted the whole vial of blood just for a hand print? And how did Cyborg Henshaw lift a dwarf star key to open the door to the Fortress? I 'm sorry but they really made Kara look like a fool fighting him. She barley moves him or makes a dent while he throws her around like a rag doll? Not very super or even stronger than her cousin which the comics seem to claim. This is what i dislike about the CW and their heroes, they always make them weak when they should be kicking butt. The start of this season has been a disaster for Kara, as she can't seem to hold her own in a fight anymore unlike last year. Every villain this season has kicked her butt big time. They really need to refocus back on Kara and her story there is just too much and too many characters. She really is getting shafted in her own show to show off the male heroes and marginalize her. And please don't make me gag with Mon El and the budding romance they are pushing. He is not end game or anywhere near it. She has no chemistry with him. I was hoping the lead poisoning would lead to him leaving for the future but now he's contemplating marrying Kara?
  8. So if Mon El is susceptible to lead as he was in the comics, why isn't/ wasn't he doubled over in pain when near Guardian or the lead pencils at Catco or any other lead items in a city like this. Would this explain why he doesn't seem as strong as Kara? I'm getting tired of Kara getting her butt kicked in every fight now.Last year wasn't too bad since they were kryptonions but this season you could flatten her with a feather and win the fight.
  9. I'm going out on a limb and thinking that the Vibe we saw fighting Caitlin was from another earth. This Cisco is very reluctant to use his powers and not at all comfortable in battle with them the way the vision was using them. As for the outing, I didn't like it at all. Cisco has shown that he is very afraid of Killer Frost and way over concerned about Caitlin turning into her. Now suddenly he cares? You could see the fear in him the moment she demonstrated her powers to him. From then on his reactions were born out of fear, not concern for her. As for Caitlin concerns, she wasn't this worried last season when teasing Cisco so something happened in this timeline to freak her out. It would also explain why she thinks she will suddenly turn evil. Maybe this current timlines Frost told her that the change also screwed her mind up somehow. There are just so many holes to fill thanks to Barry's timeline mess. I really hope she kicks his butt for being so selfish.
  10. M gann did say the drink was 10 times stronger and deadly to humans, hence the affect on Kara. And I got the impression Mon El has heard of it or drank it some time in the past. So Tom Cruise's cousin got a dream gig as a host to an alien parasite? Scientology must have paid for the ep,lol.
  11. So this is from the comics? I see now, trying to get the family history straight here, lol.
  12. Picking up from the snippets of comics and movies, I take it Krypton had a very hierarchical caste system. There was the warrior caste, the science/tech castes, intellectual caste, judicial castes and so forth. It could be that Alura and Astra are indeed from the house of El and are cousins to Jor el and Zor el. Lara could also be their older sister who married Jor El. This all keeps the family blood line pure, and would explain why Astra was seen as a renegade as she may have married out side her caste and blood line. Non always deferred to her instead of lording it over Astra and her being a higher or more respected caste and noble family would make sense. I get Supermans argument about the Kyrptonite, but Hank made his own argument invalid the moment he used it on Supergirl to take her down, and to train her in the fight ring. He knew damn well who she was but never hesitated to use it on her. He gives new meaning to being two faced.
  13. DId anyone notice that neither Superman nor Kara bothered to rescue the passenger and pilots on the space ship? LOL I think Superman was going to mention it to her but Kara was so dorky and fist bumping etc that they forgot the whole thing.
  14. I found this episode boring and very paint by the numbers. Sabine was better last year. I predict that for the Rebels to grow something has to happen that is so heinous or grievous that the Outer Rim and other planets finally say, why are we supporting the Empire? I bet Thrawn is at the center of it and gets exiled to some remote out of the place backwater sector where he remains until after the war is over, hence living and perhaps being one of the founders of the First Order. It would explain why we never see him in the movies and the clone wars series. As for the Kenobi thing, at some point Leia learns of his existence and she records a message to him asking for help. Maybe she learned it from Bail. She also has R2 who knows all about Kenobi and the Skywalkers and who she really but never once tells anyone anything . Best little robot pal ever. I can't see Maul and him fighting again though because such a fight would reverberate in the force and I think both Vader and Palpatine would sense it. Vader made it clear he hadn't felt the presence of Kenobi until he was in the ship and we know from Rebels he is still looking for him, in fact it seems to be the only thing on his mind.
  15. Really like this opener or at least soft reboot. Clark/Superman was so charming and dorky just like the original movies. And it was so light in National City. Superman barley made a frown. Liked The shout outs to the first Superman movie, lol. Miss Tessmocker, the helicopter scene and Lena repeating the Airlines are statistically safer etc The two of them actually getting along and encouraging each other Lena Luthor who seems to be a good gal for now. As for the accent it was kinda explained with her being adopted at four. If she was adopted in the UK, and if the Luthor family stayed there for a few more year before moving back to the US it would explain why she slips occasionally . Humor was great this episode. This show really gets the geeky, dorky vibe. Winn is now where he should have been all along. I guess they have abandoned the secret office at Catco? Didn't like The new digs for the DEO. It looks more like a corporate shin dig than a covert office. Heck it looked almost like L Corp, the buildings looks so much alike. Not to mention that won't every one be able to see where Supergirl is disappearing to with it being in the city like that? All anyone has to do is follow her and the DEO gig is up. The manufactured sudden animosity between Superman Jon Jozzz who never mentioned once that he and Superman had a problem with each other, and that it was all over Kryptonite. Not to mention that Jon did indeed use said Krytonite against Kara the moment she showed up, even though he knew damn well who she was and wasn't hurting anyone. Thus he outright lied to Superman in the episode. The lame, sudden demise of James and Kara. Don't get me wrong this needed to happen, but you can see it's going to linger and be drawn out. These guys lost all and any momentum last year the moment Lucy showed up and James didn't kick her ass to the curb pronto. The chemistry died that ep and it never really came back between the two of them. And how exactly did Kara change other than be a little lost in the career dept? I think James was feeling left out between his pal Supes and DEO taking Kara's time up. It looks like he's going to be the superfluous character this year like Winn was last year.
  16. I don't understand why Jesse had to be locked away, when just the previous epsidoe she proved she's just as good as Caitlyn was in the bio med sci stuff and could have been there to monitor Barry's vitals etc. Eye rolling contrivance with this show.
  17. No I think there was only two, it was just edited fast. And I too want to know when Mercia or Wessex employed female soliders. And ones that could fight very well. This wasn't some little cat fight/slap fest, this was a true knock down drag out fight between three women. Were they shield maidens who stayed around or what.
  18. I'm at a lost as to why no one suspects Winn of hacking Catco? He's the perfect insider and could have done so easily. Not to mention he could cover his tracks by pretending to look for the hack himself and rat his guy out. They never did actually catch the hacker themselves.
  19. I'm calling it now and saying that HRG somwhow caused the explosion at Odessa and kills Claire because he came back in time to stop it etc. That's why he wanted his mind wiped and why he wanted his friend to kill him. I'll bet anything that we see another pair of Hiro and Noah and they will figure out what went wrong.
  20. When it comes to Catilyn, I too cringed a little when she begged Jay to stick around. Not that I think it's too soon because at this point I think she's done grieving and just wants to move on, but because it was written so badly etc. It came across as desperate for some reason instead of funny which is what I think they were going for. As for Catliyn age and degree, perhaps they are mirroring the actresses real life schooling? Panabaker graduated HS at 14, so 4 yrs of college or less if she was a super genius and same with med school blazing through that.Still puts her around 26-28 years old. And Thawn/Wells only recruited the best. Now if only we got to see that on the show. I'm also curious what kind of med school she got because she seems either to be a med doctor or science doc.
  21. Co sign on the idea that the female members of the group need major character development, minus the guys. I don't want a kick ass woman to appear and steal the minimal thunder Catlin and Iris have already which is meager right now. Both are defined by their love intrests, and both were exclusivly used to further their manpain. And give Catilin back her brain please, as it seems it took a hike in the final there. There is no way a genius like Catlin would not know basic science, even if engineering/physics is not her forte. And make Catlin more consistent, in stead of all over the place. First she's mourning Ronnie, then she's over him then she's pinning for him then she's over him again and suddenly she wants to get married? Huh? Keep Iris away from the damsel in distress each week please. Use her as a reporter etc but don't have her standing aound crying for Flash to rescue her all the time.
  22. The time line should have completely changed the moment RF disitergrated yet they were all still there ready to battle the black hole. None of that should have happened if the time line changed thanks to Eddie's sacrifice. I'm going to give Catlin a tiny pass on not understanding what a sinularity was, but that's a pin drop pass at best. She a scientist, her major may be bio chem or something but she had to have taken general science to get there. It's like they had to dumb down all the women on the show to show all the manpain going on. So Snart walks around in the middle of summer I presume in a parka and hood? He's going to get heat exhustion, lol.
  23. He said 136 years which given that people can live much longer now doesn't make a whole lot of sense. The professor said Eddie was his great gandfather about 6 times none of that makes sense either. And the supposed article is just 10 yrs in the future.
  24. So I'm a little confused. Did Emma kill her roomate for some weird reason or did Lizzie? I was kind of hoping that Lizzie would adopt the boy, make it a family thing lol.
  25. I do not see DiNozzo taking over this particluar team. McGee would resent it and leave, Bishop wouldn't tolerate it for long either, Ducky would retire finally. Abby and Palmler would probaly stay.
