  1. Nobody - none of us knows what goes on behind the scenes with any of these people. I wasn't presenting that as a fact - just speculation.
  2. Nothing. Just pondering possible reasons for them to be there since actually enjoying Ikechi's company is a totally unintelligible construct for me.
  3. It’s common terminology for this age group. good luck! Hope all goes well!
  4. Depending on what she is asking, he could always show her evidence. So "wanna know how I'm telling the truth about my relationship with Madison - here is my phone, look at my texts." He has always, always dismissed her lack of trust in him as a character flaw when, as it happens, she was pretty accurate in her assessment of his honesty. Neither one of them appears to have extensive vocabularies so I guess they are choosing from the short list of shared phrases they know.
  5. Or there was an opportunity for a paycheck.
  6. Ugh. Why did Thomas and Camille maintain any contact at all with that asshole?
  7. David intentionally sent the "I wanna eatchyouup" text message - he was just too stupid or too drunk (or both) to send it to the intended recipient. Everything after that, including any "gym dates" he went on with Madison were obviously intentional efforts to grow their relationship. Re: Madison's Sephora employee makeup at the "party" last night - it could not have clashed more, the pink eye shadow and the red dress. I wonder if she was wearing pink and changed when David showed up in red? Or she is color blind? I know in some circles that super heavy eye shadow is a look but at least choose a complementary color palate. I don't think that makes him guilty of anything. I think he bought into the process and the supposed "expertise" in addition to being attracted to Madison physically. I actually do think that he would have genuinely tried to make things work with a brunette who had an additional ten (or 30) pounds on her. In the real world, physical attraction is often the first thing. Sure, there are always those couples who start off as friends and grow into something romantic but no one swipes right (or is it left, that was after my time and I can never remember) on a good sense of humor or hits on the most well-read guy in the bar...
  8. Thinking you have any right to dictate what another person, much less your wife, does with their body is misogynistic. Thinking this is "normal" is misogynistic. Who cares? They aren't his breasts. My husband's "junk" belongs to him. He does with it as he sees fit. Karla's husband is named Juan. I don't know who Juilo is or how he feels about nudity. She took her top off (I mean, she didn't actually - but you are saying she did). Taking your top off isn't "showing men your breasts." No one forces them to look. Saying she was "showing men her breasts" is assuming a motive that we don't know she had. As I noted, there are other reasons to take a top off. Most of them don't involve seeking out the male gaze, as much as some men like to believe they do. Most of the men took their shirts off. Were they "showing women their pecs?" Did they do it to capture the female gaze? Or maybe they were just hot, or didn't want a tan line? This is where you slut shame. Karla can't be "moral" and also take her top off on the beach on her honeymoon? She either leaves her top on or she is "immoral?" And again, no one seems to remember her actually taking her top off on the honeymoon... Well the show is called Married At First Sight. If you don't want to watch strangers get married, go on a honeymoon and try to live together, perhaps watch a different show? No one forced anyone. The participants signed up to be on this show. They know what it entails. We have seen people leave the honeymoon early, choose to stay in different rooms, choose not to live together...
  9. Eh - not Madison. She came in spoiling for a fight. David too, to the degree that he can work up any energy over anything.
  10. I think that it was a shirt dress and she didn't button all the buttons. At one point they had to blur her nipple, so I definitely think it wasn't supposed to be open that far. I think that Madison and David were absolutely tactless and abrasive at the party. Madison with her "honey" and "babe" - clearly spoiling for a fight. She has no business saying how Michelle felt. Bad enough they came in together all matchy/matchy but then they just really flaunted their relationship in front of the entire group (Juan asking David what he's been doing and he basically said "Madison."). Tacky, tacky, tacky. I never really liked David but I gave him sort of the benefit of the doubt. Madison was also not my favorite but I thought she had some good qualities. But they both just seem thoughtless, selfish and immature. They can have each other. So I guess tonight's ham-handed product placement was Pepper naming the hotel that hosted Decision Day?
  11. I think he "owned" the bar before the show. It closed and that's (supposedly) when he moved back in with mom and dad. I mean... I *almost* fell for it??? Why are Ikechi and Emem even at this "party?" Contractual obligation? Ikechi is a dick but Emem has said the same thing about a dozen times now. Why go back through it again? I think the "experts" were just glad to finally be able to crack open a bottle of the bubbly. This whole episode made me want to drink. All she has to do is use the buttons the dress has provided... I don't think she is a bitch. I think that Ikechi just treated her so badly that she really can't even be in the same room with him without being massively triggered.
  12. I think he does, though. I just think he doesn't want to tell her what to do and as a woman (and a wife) I appreciate that.
  13. Ugh. I don't want to watch David and Madison on a date (that, I noted, she won't refer to as a date).
  14. Agreed. I think he is way more into her than she is to him. OMG Camille. What do you want to hear? That Thomas has planned your entire life out and is just going to tell you what you're going to do? He said he wants to live with you and his home isn't big enough. That's just reality. I think she wants to have him say first that he wants to stay married and he's got it all figured out before she says what her decision is. I mean - c'mon Camille. Where do you think the two of you should live? When do you think the two of you will start having children?
  15. He is really immature. I am still a little bewildered by what Madison sees in him. She seems kind of bitchy but she is smart, accomplished and independent. He is... none of those things. And I honestly wonder, any time a couple cheat in order to get together - how do you ever get past such an inauspicious beginning. If someone has cheated with you, how do you know they won't do it to you? Both David and Madison seem like they like to party, which is fine but David in particular strikes me as a player.
  16. I'm not sure what else would have constituted closure - I was a little surprised when Pastor Cal said that. like - what's left to be said. I found Madison to be pretty unlikeable in her conversation with Allen. Sure, she apologized, as she should have. But beyond that... sheesh. She just came off as bitchy. Also, David, Michelle doesn't believe you because you lie constantly. He always reverts to "you can believe me or not" but doesn't really take accountability for how his constant dishonesty causes her to not trust you.
  17. I think this is way more David/Madison than Madison/David. I also don't think Madison intended for this to come out the way it did, if at all. Although if she is in this whole thing for social media fame, this is a surefire way to do it - being half of the first "spouse swap" in MAFS history. I also think that Madison was surprised by how much dislike she got from the cast. I'm not sure why she wouldn't anticipate that but I guess she was expecting sympathy, since all of them have experienced some degree of lack of attraction to their spouse?
  18. Did we see them during the home visits by the “experts?” I thought I remembered Pepper finding Camille’s vibrator…
  19. I think she had a pretty normal apartment like Michelle’s? I don’t remember much about it.
  20. I still don’t understand why it’s a bad thing that Allen brought spices to the retreat when he knew he would be cooking.
  21. They can balance each other out :) Count me in on the two pitbulls! What is the problem with that? He is a great cook and knew he would be cooking for a group. Rentals never have anything besides (questionable) salt and pepper. I thought it was great that he had planned ahead and took care to cook a good meal for everyone.
  22. I hate it when that happens. My current dwelling compels me to eat ice cream for dinner every night. It's a nightmare :)
  23. I think she is angry because he lied, repeatedly. He nattered on and on about how important it was for her to be honest with him and he was never honest with her. I think it makes for pretty boring television but I like it too. I quibble with this. I don't think that Karla "quit her job to start her own business." I think she quit/was fired and absent any other plan, decided now was a good time to "start her own business." I did too. Rentals rarely have anything other than questionable salt and pepper. He knew he would be cooking for the group and he planned. Awesome! I feel like this could be David's next flirty text to some random woman, "you look so fine I want to insert my magic stick into your temple."
