  1. Cassandra was a pile of suck, RR REALLY needs some stunt fighting practice, she was horrible. Kane is essentially playing himself. The Brit dude, whatever, he's a thief with a heart of gold we will find out one episode this season. Why was Cassandra "chosen" in the first place? She had a brain tumor and had forgotten some things or was a math genius (I thought Kane was going to satisfy the genius role). Is she even cured? I really don't care as I thought they forgave her dumbass a bit too soon, but pilots.
  2. Waste of time and money.
  3. Where is the talk of rewrites coming from? As I see it, the IIC (idiots in charge) don't see a problem. yes, they have "heard" some folks (you know, those loud Black people and shippers/sarcasm) don't like the show, but I have yet to see anything indicating that they "get it" or are even open to making some changes. Is there something out that that gives folks the impression that the show will change?
  4. Agree with everything, except the Caitlin and Felicity stuff. Now that this is over, can the Arrow folks go back to their show and let this one stand on its own? I don't need Failicity coming over and "blessing" the other females as if that character is somehow the perfect female, and I definitely don't need some multiple murdering asshole trying to tell someone how to be a "hero". I stopped watching Arrow for a reason and I don't want that reason to continue to infect this show.

    Iris West

Hee. Yes, she is Lois like at her core, but definitely not as hard nosed or sarcastic.

UGH! Likening Iris to Felicity is the one way to make me dislike Iris.
  7. That's not really how it works. Retention out of the lead in was essentially the same for the two weeks you're focusing on, as a matter of fact, it might have improved (don't feel like doing the math). No show has 100% retention out of its lead in. Not saying the show doesn't suck now, as I think it does, but just reciting numbers doesn't tell the entire story as there is a presumption that the two shows completely share the same audience. It could be that 2 million folks turned off after Gotham while a new group of folks turned on SH. Just saying.
  8. I don't know what the hell she thinks she's doing, but I wish she would just stop it. As I've tended to not pay a whole lot of attention to Zed, where is she supposed to hail from? She's got an accent that bleeds through and I'm not sure if it's intentional.
  9. I so enjoy this crazy, crazy show.
  10. This show is so delightful. No shrewish wives having to suffer through marriage with their idiot husbands, no 20 or 30 something's trying to navigate their ridiculous lust lives, just a family doing and dealing with family issues. Just delightful.
  11. Sorry, still not seeing anything pointing to Abbie. It doesn't really matter as I doubt the show will last long enough to deconstruct Ichabod/Katrina, have him deal with that, deal with his crazy kid, then fall for Abbie. Just don't see it. Actually, the way things are going on the show, I DON'T want to see it attempted. It's bad enough they are setting up giving Abbie her sister's sloppy seconds, she doesn't need to get Katrina's as well.
  12. I don't know, even Orlando Jones describes the show as a love story set against the backdrop of the war between good and evil or some such. He had to get that from somewhere. I saw the quote when reading up on the mixtape he co-produced for the show. For some reason I can't put in a shortcut but: http://www.datpiff.com/-Sleepy-Halloween-mixtape.662948.html
  13. I thought it was just me. Some men shouldn't have facial hair and I think this dude is one of them. Besides that, he just looks so unclean even sitting at a bar. Not happy with the episode. Couldn't even get excited about Abbie giving folks the side eye as that is annoyingly passive aggressive. I was happy she finally said her piece. Too bad she essentially took it all back. Also ticked that the writers thought the two dudes deciding who Abbie could have an interest in was something I wanted to see. Not cute. I'm sick of the Crane drama and Ichabod. I wish we just had a show with Jenny, Irving and Abbie.
  14. Wonder why they didn't just use the legend of Robert Johnson.
  15. For some reason I'm thinking the opposite. I'm thinking that Fox wanted the diversity and it's the showrunners that are now more in charge. Regardless of who's at fault (from reading articles, etc. I am going more showrunners) I totally see this as Twisted Pt. 2. Well, maybe it touted Abbie as part of the story for a bit longer than Twisted did before it became ALL ABOUT JO and her family drama. Sound familiar?
  16. First Liv and now Zed? That's two strikes, show.
  17. This episode committed the biggest sin in television for me, it was boring.
  18. I think that is one of the most beautifully hilarious things I have ever seen or heard. I wish I could still buy a t-shirt. ETA: Yeah, if it was Scott [comma] J, I was thinking Jill Scott. But so strange, all the others are letter then last name. ETAA: Oh man!!! He's running again and I can get a t-shirt!!!! Wait, that t-shirt is just too damn...what, too obvious?
  19. Scott J is? Unless they meant Scott [comma] J. Also, who is The Rent is Too Damn High Guy? I don't like being out of the loop.
  20. If I remember correctly, there isn't just one Reverse Flash. There have been several based upon which Flash and when. Eddie Thawne being one of them.
  21. My favorite part was Dre trying to murder the waving man thing. When it popped back up with the scary face I howled laughing and woke the dogs.
  22. No, I don't feel I was rude at all (to whom, anyway?) and I felt my comment was very necessary. Thanks. I don't want to see her on The Flash. She can stay on Arrow and let her geek flag fly. I think Arrow sucks and I don't want it infecting the lightness, fun and so far enjoyment I get from The Flash. Now, if my overall lack of love for the character of Felicity is the real problem, oh well. Not everyone (despite what some may think) loves Felicity and guess what? Those folks (myself included) are just as entitled to that opinion and stating it as anyone else. So, no, it wasn't unnecessary and rude.
  23. Can Felicity now take her happy ass back to Arrow and stay there? I don't want that show infecting this one.
  24. Yes, for me you are wrong. I don't find Hawley necessary to the story at all. As I have stated, everything he has done could have been accomplished by Jenny due to her travels for Corbin. She could have picked up both the artifacts and the knowledge. Hell, Abbie already knew some of the area Native Americans and could have come up with that connection. ETA: For fucks sake, as soon as Jenny uttered the phrase "I know a guy" she's been seen what, two minutes per episode, tops? So yeah, I want his ass gone. Plus, to me he is not even eye candy, just grungy.
