Looks like Caila's is gone as well.

This seems to be an extremely long time for deliberations. Makes me think that there may have been a lot of discussions on some vets. I don't remember it being this long in the past.

Jennifer's dress is awful. I hate the color and the material. I'm not crazy about Lacey's dress or Simone's either. I like Stephanie's dress. Glad to hear that Kelsey's interview went well.

I definitely think Madeline can grow into her looks and be a good DCC. She reminds me of Jenna a bit, but I will say that Jenna was a much better dancer (in DCC style) than Madeline when she first tried out, and while Jenna looks young, she is very pretty IMO. Madeline is average to me looks wise, but not to a point where she would stand out in a bad way. I actually think her dancing was as big or a bigger problem for in training camp than her looks last year. Hopefully, she has improved over the past year. I'm rooting for her.

I'm just now making my way through the videos. Cersten looks like she'll be the standout in this class based of what I've seen. I also think Selina looked great. Shelbi on the other hand looked awful. Yikes. I do think Madeline looks better this year, and I think Hunter will be great with a week under her belt. I also thought Royesha looked good, and while I'm rooting for Jenna, she did not look great there.

Love Kashara and Jenna. I prefer both of them in that combo over Caila actually. In terms of her first year, I think Caila just had some trouble picking up the DCC style. I don't remember her being called into the office (though I may be remembering wrong), so while she had some issues, she never seemed to be at risk in the same way that Breelan, Vivian, Ashley, etc were.

Caila is gorgeous, but she does look thick in that video (even though her dancing is great). Now, I don't think there's anything wrong with being a little thick and most men (that I know at least) prefer it, but based on the DCC standards of Kelli, Judy, and Charlotte, if they want a reason to cut her, they have it.

The first year I cheered, we wore white bottoms under our white uniform/white skirt (switched to black in subsequent years, thank god). Similarly, we never had issues and someone was always on their period, but our uniforms were nowhere near as tiny as the DCC shorts. We could easily wear underwear under the bottoms. I've always wondered if the DCCs even wear underwear, or if they just go with tights and the white shorts. I honestly can't imagine that these women are not skipping their periods (given how easy it is to do on bc) given those tiny, white shorts.

Yeah, if he took a plea deal for 25 years, that's a good indication of just how much time he was facing. I know nothing about the case other than what I have read here, but I think she is going to have a real problem making the team. Child molestation is about as bad as it gets, and I can't imagine that Kelli or Charlotte want to be associated with that situation in anyway. Seems like it would come up in an interview with her sooner or later if she is as vocal with her support of him as it seems from some of the other posts.

Yeah, agreed with both points. Big difference between being casual and sloppy. I pretty much always wear jeans or pants of some sort on a flight because most planes are cold, and I hate to be cold. I imagine though as DCCs, they don't really have a choice but to dress up. Who is that in the picture above pulling her bikini bottom down (and agreed, it looks trashy)? I also think Jenn K. looks a bit soft, but I have always thought that she looked soft in the midsection - not enough to be called out or anything, and I'm not saying she looks bad by any means, but I've never thought she was one of the super skinny girls.

I don't think she gets praise just for taking classes, but I think its the fact that she is/was taking (and received a degree I believe) classes in a very difficult major. An engineering degree is difficult for students who don't work on the side and just go to school. Many people I know got weeded out by junior year - kind of like all of those people who were pharmacy majors freshmen year but definitely were no longer chemistry majors after attempting organic chemistry. So of course, she's not doing the most difficult thing in the world, but I don't think she's shouldn't be praised just because there are other people are also doing more difficult things.

Completely agree with this regarding Holly. She's certainly very talented, but in the last few videos that I've seen, everything just looks so forced. I've never been impressed with Jessica on the show (I've never thought she was bad or anything, but she never stood to me), but I think she has looked great in several of the videos that have been posted from dance class. There is an ease to her dancing that doesn't scream "look how sexy I'm trying to be!"like some of the other girls.

I'm also rooting for Kelsey to make it to training camp. I don't think either of the questions that she received were difficult - questions about the number of yards on a football field and the owner/GM (especially when that person is as famous as Jerry Jones) are not difficult IMO, but other girls have been taken to training camp with answers that were far worse - looking at you Carla. I agree that there may be some underlying issues that we don't know about. I will say that I was recently watching the finals episode from a two years ago. When the judges are discussing Veronica, there is a clip of Veronica and Kelsey on the field, and Kelsey looks a bit stiff. Obviously, that is just a 2 second clip, but maybe some of the judges didn't think that her dancing was good enough to overcome the bad interview.

While it was predictable that Ashley Pro and Breelan were at risk of being cut last year, as both struggled in training camp and Breelan had noticeably gained a little bit of weight, it's not always so predictable. For example, I wouldn't have singled out Courtney, Collin, Teri, or Kali as being girls who would be cut, and Kamilah is the only one from the season 6 group of girls who were cut who struggled in training camp from what I remember. Based on training camp, Kat and Simone would be 2 girls on the bubble, but I have no idea how the season actually went.

Most of them are very slim, so it wouldn't shock me if many of them do wear a zero, but a lot of it really depends on one's frame when it comes to sizes. I've always typically been in the 0-2 range, but I'm fairly curvy and nowhere near as toned (or look at good in a swimsuit IMO), as some of my friends who wear bigger sizes. I just have a small frame. Amy T. looks like she may just have a curvier body and have a slightly larger frame than the other girls. I think she looks great though.

Holly looks so much better now that her hair has grown a bit and that the color has been toned down.

This is may have been stated somewhere already, but does anyone know if Madeline is trying out again?

Does anyone remember where Holly was in the triangle before moving to point? Was she opposite Emma? The main reason why I see Jennifer being the point with Jenna/Erica being right behind her (and I could see Lacey being right behind Jennifer) is because of their positions in the triangle last year, but I'm not sure if they usually just move people up or not. I will say that I don't necessarily agree that the point girl has to be one of the most beautiful girls on the team. Obviously beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but Whitney was never all that pretty to me (though she had a great figure), and she was point due to her dancing. I see no reason why they wouldn't put Jennifer in that position given how much they love her. With 3 of the group leaders (apparently) retiring, I can see the group leaders next year being Jennifer, Jessica, Jenna, and Danielle next season. I have no idea about second group leaders - I can guess Jinelle though, since I think she will be the only one remaining from her class other than Jennifer.

I agree with this. I think it's likely that Jennifer will be point, although I think it's likely that Jenna will be at the front however. I could see she and Erica moving into Jennifer and Jacie's old spots next season. Looking at the list upthread, didn't Kashara confirm that she's coming back? Also, Elizabeth is someone who may not come back given her knee injury. Of course, she is one who moved her whole life to Texas for DCC, so she may try to make it through the injury.

Awkward!! I would have to think she won't try out again, but maybe she's hoping to make friends with the new rookies next season or hoping that the hard feelings will eventually recede.

Jessica looks great in that video. I've always thought she was strong but not one of the best, but she looks fantastic there. Her hair seems to have more body there as well.

Yeah, they were the only five year girls this season.
