  1. Did this episode show the Hogwarts Express in it?
  2. I noticed that a couple of weeks ago and I've disliked them all. I only liked the song in the second episode. Infact I liked it so much I couldn't wait for the 3rd and was so disappointed it was a different (awful) song. I figured there was no song for the 1st episode because it was the 1st. "Glance Backwards" by Jeffrey Brodsky. Jean-Marc Vallee seems to have a thing for music so I am assuming that's why it changes. I noticed that too. Why was Adora freaking the fuck out when Amma ran way? That was way too dramatic. She ran away - it's not like someone saw something suspicious happen to her. She is out of the house every damn night! Yes, she was definitely waiting to be found that little creep. I enjoyed the direction during Calhoun Day. Everyone watching someone else. I'm sorry but this whole grand house thing I do not buy. Inside it seems small. To the left there is a sitting room and then the back room where the doormat Alan listens to music. To the right there is a huge room with Amma's dollhouse and then it seems like there is a kitchen in the back. One simple staircase and a few large bedrooms upstairs. Where is the formal dining room? Where is the beautiful screened in porch that a lot of Southern homes have? Maybe it's a nice, big house for Wind Gap but I've seen more impressive. I thought the dress for Camille was odd. It was sheer on the arms and back. Someone would not have noticed her scars underneath? Really wanting to know about Camille's father. One one hand the way her editor talks to her each week shows gives us a little more about how close they are and makes me suspect he is related and then on the other hand Adora keeps alluding to how cold he is. On a side note it really annoys me how each of the Miguel Sandoval scenes has to have his wife right there listening to their conversation. Okay, we get it, he's married. The first scene at least had them discussing her but now she's just THERE.
  3. I was so confused by this season and where everyone went I had to go back and look at the other season and I completely forgot Season 4 was the cliffhanger for Daya and Humps and that Season 5 was just 3 full days of the riot. I even forgot Piscatella had tortured them in that room and that's how Alex hurt her arm. I thought Barb was such a weak character and didn't understand how she could have been the top dog. Carol I understood. I noted some posters thought the show turned too political but that's what the prison system is. It's very political and I liked that the current state of the US was brought into the show. It almost seems like the Obama administration was a different era even thought it has not even been 2 years and the show had embraced that. I wonder if they will find a way to eliminate the Badison character as viewers have absolutely hated her. It seems like they finally caught on to the dislike of Piper but she was the main character so I'm sure it was harder to write her off. It would be nice if next season was the last season and they were able to address where some of our old favorites went and maybe do a fast forward of what happened with some of the characters during the duration of their stay and then release. Well, talk to ya'll next year.
  4. I wonder why McCullough chose to go back to work at Litchfield. I remember them saying when she started how she was ex-military and it was one of the only jobs she could get in the area. But after all that and if she is self harming and lashing out I question why she would take this job again.
  5. I cried hard for Blanca. Very hard. Probably the hardest I have cried since Poussey died.
  6. This sounds an awful lot like the "pull up your bootstraps" sentiment. It's hard to get out from underneath generational poverty Even Piper Kerman acknowledged the fact that a lot of the women in the system with her were leaving to absolutely nothing with absolutely nothing. People on this board keep pointing out these facts to you and you keep doubling down on your argument that people just don't work hard enough. BYE.
  7. I think Bart the Bear died a number of years ago. When I saw Monica on the ground I was just done. I haven't finished the episode. I'm so sick of people dying or coming across dangerous tragedies each episode. This isn't fucking GOT or TWD. Isn't it supposed to be a little realistic? Would you know that many people in harms way in your everyday life?
  8. Do all the ranch hands have to look like Rip? YAY! Wes Bentley is back and punches Beth.
  9. It offends me a little that Barb and Carol have the exact same hairstyles as they did in high school. Like what we wouldn't recognize them? Thanks for dumbing it down for us, OITNB producers.
  10. Trump needs to hire these ladies to do his hair because they really fixed her up!! Regarding people being able to find numerous resources after being released from prison/county jail I disagree. I have worked with plenty of people living on the streets that have had very little opportunity. They have no phone, and are supposed to call a number to check in and then the directory is confusing as hell. That post seems very victim blaming and poor shaming. We know the statistics of who are imprisoned and it is often a system based on class. Which is why Piper Kerman, an educated white woman, is the only one who was able to write and get a book to be published in mainstream media and have a TV show created out of it. There was one organization in Washington State called Conviction Careers (they have now since closed unfortunately) which was one of the only organizations in the US like it's kind where they would provide transportation, interview coaching, clothing and connections to places in local areas that would hire people not utilizing the "Box" on job applications. Winco is a great example of a place that would hire people with convictions that would actually give someone a little bit of a head start because they could actually buy stock in the company. Other than that the system is shit, WorkSource is shit and so is the foster care system. Aleida would be recognized as literally homeless and would have a hell of a time getting her kids back.
  11. Daya's decent with her life in prison just getting worse and worse is the most realistic we have seen. I also like how the characters are make-up free with bad hair too now they are in max and have little resources. I teared up a little during the Fig and Caputo scenes. They were really good and saved the rest of the mess. A horrible Badison episode which was just a joke, not compelling like the original characters. I feel like the actress thought it would be such a meaty role, an accent, nude scenes and a whole character arch. Instead we have to suffer through her terrible accent and she only showed how flabby and drained her boobs are. Mine are not as saggy and I've breastfed two children. SHANKED!!!
  12. I looked up the Badison actress only to see she played Brittany Murphy is the Lifetime movie, and it being a Lifetime movie, was completely obnoxious. It sounds like she is not very good in anything else?? I also found and article that stated she was the most hated character in Orange but I didn't want to read the rest as it had spoilers. I am starting to like Daddy and didn't mind the backstory. Speaking of Flaritza where is Maritza? And the episode where they showed Big Boo being in Cleveland I could have sworn the Zirconia (Latin actress with bad teeth) was in Cleveland but then is back at Litchfield? Also, I wonder where all the meth heads went. Still waiting to hear what is up with Blanca. Why the investigators were so interested in her and why she didn't get extra time. Mackenzie Phillps!! HA. I can now only think of her banging her dad.
  13. I agree. I'm watching the latest season of Orange Is the New Black and I can't remember shit. It's hard to watch it all at the same time and then an entire year goes by. (And if you are me you have watched 30 other shows in between then) Plus I like the anticipation of waiting a week.
  14. Ughhhh I hate how I forget everything. Why does McCullough have a beef with Ruiz? And I can't recall the relationship between Piper and Ruiz and why Ruiz would be so broken about that exchange. I felt for her after her baby was born but after last season trying to fuck everyone over I don't feel sorry for her. Piper thinking Nikki's signal was about HER. RAT SPLAT!!
  15. Jordan was so hilarious in a really strange way. Everything he said was just something I would never hear in my daily life so it made me laugh. I was just thinking how the Bachlorettes seem to pick out men and having stronger relationships that survive outside the show and the Bachelors generally fuck it up pretty quickly.
  16. BAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!!!! Because Ali Girl is the rare child who has this condition it makes me sad that she is not getting the help she deserves, Leah has the money to do this. I'm going to be the 99th person to say Jenelle is such a liar. When they showed Devion on screen I saw his name as Devoid. This place is really getting to me. I thought he was just with the Coven to help with Nova but now he is living with them? I like how Brittany is like "hire a nanny, this isn't my job". But she still seems to end up doing it??
  17. I thought Paulie's remarks were disgusting. Asking Brittany what her vagina looks like and then saying she was going to tell Brad she was riding Chuck's cock like a champ. What a nasty man. I know this show has competitors with no morals and no redeeming values, they talk horribly to each other and do shitty things but this seemed borderline sexual harassment to me. He sucks and I hope he never come back again.
  18. Fig looks awful this season. Too long of hair and too skinny. Where is Sophia? It's too long of a span each season to watch this all in one clump and then not for another year. I had to look up Kukido and how the shitty guard died. Can't remember what happened to Soso. I liked the scene with Aleida and Daya even though it was sad. Aleida basically comes to grips with the fact that her daughter is in prison for life stemming from her piss poor decision making as a mother.
  19. I'm really interested to see some of the new characters backstories like Badison (ugh I hate that I have to type that out), or maybe WHY Piper's roomie killed her kids. And please don't make us wait long to find out about Blanca!!
  20. I remember the scene but couldn't remember the exact conversation as they kept alluding to him being gay bait (she and the bartender and that part seemed to take over). Thanks! The cop lets a minor sit in the bar and drink though?
  21. My mom went to the hospital once and her BA was .28. This would kill most people and the hospital staff knew she was lying when she said she didn't have a drinking problem. She is functioning and has a job and has been hardcore drinking for over 30 years so it is possible. Camille is probably spending most of the day maintaining, I am not sure how drunk she actually is when we see her meeting with people during the day. I watched Fix and Ripe back to back so I don't remember which episode John's girlfriend was cleaning up under the bed but I wonder what she found. Also, if he is drinking in a bar and she is in high school isn't that sort of an odd age difference? I need to ask a friend who has read the book if there is mention of it. Is the love of scenes with music a director thing? Because it seemed to be highlighted in 'Big Little Lies' too and I never got why. I understand why Camille is listening but the stepdad and even the Chief's wife have scenes focused on them listening to music. The Chief and Adora definitely seem to have a past. Alan annoys me with his "do you need anything from me?" patheticness. And what does he do all day just drink in that room?
