It's a little intriguing to me that TV guide wrote that article and then down the bottom you see the disclaimer that the CW owns/is affiliated with TV guide.

Why exactly? Black Siren is not her sister. They barely know one another, have no relationship, why is Sara obligated to get to know her or vice versa? Black Siren is a seperate individual from the Laurel that was Sara's sister, despite the fact that BS is committing identity theft.

Yep Emily mentioned during a con in Paris I think after season 3 during the S3-s4 hiatus that the network had called her because they were worried about threats she'd been receiving online and from memory as she told the story had asked her if she wanted them to pursue anything but Emily wasn't aware of them until the network called her and basically said she wasnt going to give them any attention. I do remember one fan coming after Emily so hard that members of the cast like John Barrowmen publicly took a stand against them either in season 3 or 4. And there were a lot of ugly twitter accounts who went after Emily during the season 3 season 4 time. A lot of ugly stuff about her appearance, her sexual orientation, bordering on violent abusive language, mentions of rape and I even recall seeing an account tweet knife emojis. I think a lot of those accounts though were quickly reported and suspended by Twitter which is good. I haven't noticed much recently mainly because I think the people who use to do it now try to falsely claim Olicity fans send death threats to Katie and Cassandra, which I've yet to see evidence of (I've seen nasty stuff but not violent and aggressive stuff), so I think they try to put on a good face and so they can claim the "moral high ground".

Maybe her being sudden bffs with Oliver is suppose to achieve the same kind of positive reaction and acceptance as BS being friends with Felicity 🤷‍♀️ Except they didn't realise that Stephen was going to phone in all his performances with her and that Juliana would get confused in scenes and start making seductive eyes at inanimate objects.

After Dinahs attitude in season 6 it's completely consistent with her character to blame Oliver for no reason so I wouldn't be surprised if that happens.

Laurels baby day care! And that way all the Laurel fans upset that Felicity is being trapped in a baby storyline can get their concerns addressed by having Laurel off screen feeding and changing the nappies of Felicity and Iris babies like the Argus nanny. Win-win.

Im pretty sure the answer to that question is this: I mean really what is Laurel really contributing as a character to the show right now in any meaningful way? She's not mentioned or seems to be a factor or player in the flash forwards and she doesn't seem to be much of an active player in the present storyline either. Being Felicitys bff seems to be her only relevant storyline right now, now that her redemption journey is basically over.

Honestly I boil down the Laurel and Felicity instant friendship to the writers both wanting to validate Laurels redemption and trying to be pro-feminism and pro-bechel test. Two women having a friendship not based around men and women supporting women all that jazz. But the problem is they skipped like a thousand steps on Laurels redemption journey and on actually developing a genuine friendship between them which intentional or not just makes it seem like they are trying to gaslight the audience

Agreed. I mean these people supposedly quit the show back before season 5 started because they were convinced Oliver and Dinah would be the new endgame couple, so them coming out of the woodworks now when something good happens for Olicity is just them trying to nastily rain on people's parades and get a reaction and attention they don't deserve.
