  1. Aisha Tyler posted that image to her instagram 6 days ago along with a very eloquent post about understanding, empathising and having grace about what black people have experienced through their history. I think it’s good that Stephen seems to be reflecting if you looked at the post isolated from everything else. The fact that his first instinct was, whether intentional or not, to come off as apathetic if not insensitive to the cause, by giving greater concern to material objects and the safety of property then the safety of black lives and then takes 6 days to publicly show empathy through a simplistic meme/image that his black friend posted, which he relates more to himself as a father then reiterating or showing support for the message Aisha put with the meme- it feels hollow in context. To give him the benefit of the doubt at least it’s a mea culpa and maybe he does feel shame that his initial reaction was obviously disappointing to people he’s close to. But I’m just not sure the apathy that he seems to have for anything uncomfortably outside of his status quo will ever go away.
  2. Did Mark Pedowitz actually imply that Marvel is mimicking the Arrowverse? Lol 😂 I mean a. Marvel was making movies years before Arrow started and b. Greg and crew basically mimicked Chris Nolan’s Batman for the first couple of seasons of the show so.
  3. And yet despite all the crowing their fave still probably wont get more then 90 seconds of screen time 🤷‍♀️
  4. Lol at Beth thinking Mia being the Olicity child didn’t get out. Honey, one of your actors blabbed that before the season had even begun.
  5. I’m pretty much expecting the finale and EBRs last episode to be as meh as the rest of this season has been 🤷‍♀️
  6. Wow not even the live plus 7 ratings are anything to write home about.
  7. If you mean serious that Olicity fans took out loans then no I highly highly doubt that happened lol But that didn’t stop some obviously jelly people from claiming the only way the billboard happen was due to loans and starving their kids. 😂
  8. I think the funniest thing I’ve read is the claim that Olicity fans had to take out loans to rent the billboard.
  9. I don’t get why though. Seeing as they don’t appear to be in the cast list of this movie and it’s not even a WB movie nor does John Wick appear to be a DC character.
  10. On twitter people were saying that the reason Colton cancelled was because con organiser wouldn’t or didn’t pay for his plane tickets or hotel. Which my question is- why couldn’t Colton pay for that himself? Especially since they take home tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars from those events. Which brings me to the conclusion that there’s nothing sketchy or shady behind this, but simply it being about money. The con not wanting to pay money that the talent is owed or feels they are owed and the talent wanting more money then the con organisers are willing or able to give. Which is why Stephen is able to book a con for the same city and dates as a con he cancelled without feeling any guilt about fans who are going to lose out money from dodgy con business practices (which were probably in place when Stephen was involved financially in the con and happy to attend).
  11. Given the current viewership it seems like less and less people are caring lol.
  12. Well viewership has seemed to taken a dive since the announcement.
  13. Kirk will never not be pathetic. In the comments to that tweet he’s actually repeatedly denied the fact that he died on the show and that Emiko was the one to kill him. And he’s kind of being a misogynistic ass about it too.
  14. I’m glad I’m not the only one who doesn’t get what’s so great about Tommy. In season one Oliver and Diggle has a far more realistic and deep friendship then Oliver and Tommy and as far as acting goes I don’t think Colin is anything special. Also I’m sick of Arrow bringing people back from the dead. 🤷‍♀️
  15. I think the most unforgivable thing about the himym finale is the fact that not only did they put Robin and Ted back together when the show acknowledged they are a terrible couple but that they crapped all over Barney to do it. I also really hate That 70s show for ruining Jackie and Hyde for the sake of having Fez end up with Jackie to statisfy a season one plot point.
  16. Didnt the guy who designs costumes for Arrow mention that Sea was the last costume he'll design for Arrow? I'm pretty sure they are just gonna slap Laurels old costume on Siren. They've rushed and half assed her redemption I doubt they'd go to the effort of creating a brand new costume for her. Especially since they only have 10 eps left and Laurel/BS barely appears for longer then 5 minutes when she is in an Ep.
  17. I'm thinking it's Katie, and Laurel being a redeemed version of Black Canary and at this point quite possibly hanging around to the bitter end. It makes no logical sense whatsoever and I don't know what role she will have in a show that already has a Black Canary but Arrow is going to Arrow 🤷‍♀️
  18. I tend to agree. I've actually been generally satisfied with Olicity this season. Although a lot of that comes down to the fact that everything else has been a dumpster fire for me in comparison. But that being said I think it's up to people to make up their own minds on what they find satisfying or dissatisfying on the show and like wise what they enjoy or haven't enjoyed.
  19. They probably can't get a comment from the CW due to the weekend drop.
  20. On this did anyone read Juliana's social media reactions? I don't know if I'm projecting but it came off more on the side of gleeful then sad and sorry. Like "I'm so happy you aren't going to be on the show anymore! ....For you I mean. Happy for you." Lol 😂 Its like honey sweetie, Katie and Emily not being there isn't going to make you any less despised or ignored. I absolutely think they forced or pushed Stephens hand to do the ten episodes in order to have their Crisis crossover. They can do the crossover without Emily but they can't without Stephen. Now it's a question of how much is Stephen even in next season or is it really going to be the Dinah and Rene show?
  21. I have no issue with Emily deciding to leave. She's a grown woman free to make her own choices. And if it means good things for her career then she should take the opportunity. I do however have issue with the fact that the direction of the show and the writing this season is so driftless and crap that the writers have clearly not anticipated a way to have their biggest characters on the show leave on a satisfying set up or they are seriously naive to believe that having Felicity exit stage right to go into hiding while having Dinah and Rene take over the show is actually going to be well recieved.
  22. I don't think that's going to happen but I think we will have to hear about on social media for the next few months of people either convinced it's happening or panicked that'll happen. Regardless, since it seems Katie left after 7x18 if GA/BC were to happen it would be with Dinah. The good news is that Emily leaving means I have no guilt if I stop watching the show. The bad news is that with how crappy the set up the season has had both in the future and the present I doubt she is leaving in good wrapped up way that honours her contribution to the show. Which is a big shame.
  23. I think from Felicitys and Olivers perspective they have her a good child life because she was safe, protected and they made her strsong and able to take care of herself but the fact that Mia said she didn't go to school and seemed sad by that fact, seemed to be pushing her mum to take them back to Star City, what we were shown of her childhood consisted of her seeming to not have friends and was trained daily by a LOA I don't really blame Mia for seeing her childhood differently especially given how much Oliver and Felicity were lying to her. Honestly though I feel William got the shortest stick.
  24. I don't know, because Mia feels she was robbed of a normal childhood, it makes me think she didn't really get much say in her life or that she was happy with how she was raised. Maybe there will be other flash forwards that contradict that down the track but so far it seems like she had a sheltered but fairly lonely and crappy childhood. I get Felicity and Oliver obviously will have their reasons for that, but I feel like if Mia is being set up as a spin off character that they've sort of made Oliver and Felicity into "bad parents" in order they give Mia's story drive. So much of the flash forwards could reach the same goal without having to crap on other characters to do so. Like Mia and William knowing about each other and having a childhood together from the start, working together to figure out why their parents are missing. But I've accepted we are stuck with the future we have got now I just hope they find someway to reverse it and not keep the future as is for a possible spin off. I think because they already have Black Siren in the is she evil or is she good question mark role this season they probably didn't want to overwhelm the show with having Felicity go evil also. Especially if they are spinning off Mia and William. Plus Felicity being evil/dead was just a red herring to hide their gotcha like William not recognising his sister was.
