  2. Crap...so I reserved it so it will download anyway? I don't have an expert. They do this deliberately don't they to mess with us poor folks that don't know much about computers...Argh. I should know that anything for free is bad. I just didn't know that once I put it in motion there isn't a stop button. This is a pain. Awesom04000 all I know about the registry is that if you mess it up it will destroy your computer.
  3. I would love if Cain came back...So I want to know where did it go too... I hope they have an idea and not just dropped it, leaving another long list of unanswered questions. I also want to know where in the hell is John or Mary?
  4. It's a racket, when your in an area that has less competition, well it sounds like it just sucks. Right now I have cable but yes the cost keeps going up. Right now I can afford it, but when I retire it may have to go when I have to cut cost. But it sounds like I just have the cost to complain about verses some of your issues...so feeling a bit blessed about that...for now. :) Okay what I really wonder about...and those that are more tech savvy maybe can help me with. I'm using windows 7...I like it. Well Microsoft is giving a free windows 10 to download. If I don't download it, I will have to pay for it after this free trail period is over. My fear is that I download it and I find I hate it. Not every new one has been better. I stayed on XP for way longer than they wanted because I didn't like what I was hearing about the latest version. I won't be downloading anything until I have everything important backed up on 2 different ways...but should I really do it? Download Windows 10? I'm not a smart phone user. I don't have a tablet. I like my old programs... why do they have to make it so difficult just so they can make more money? Part of me just thinks I should avoid for as long as I can. :)
  5. Dang, I like word for writing over Macs...why do they have to go and make it so complicated. Thanks for the warning but I would be out of luck cause I wouldn't have a clue what to do. Totally get your frustration.
  6. I'd be for Metatron being the big bad and using disguise and etc to try to get what he wants. Metatron is the one that loves to trick everyone...so if Metatron was Death...you've got all you need to put this in place. So that's my story and I'm sticking with it, even if I have to go to fanfiction to make it a reality.
  7. If God took Chuck's place I could see it happening after Cas was killed... I can see the opposite side...I'm just hoping that God finally takes a more hands on approach. It's fine to be I gave you free will so bad things happens to good people...but If the Darkness is truly as scary as they are saying and not just a filibuster for season 11, then I want to see God trying to even out the playing field. Otherwise, it's over and the world ends, right?

  9. I think for me, I have to go with Chuck was a Prophet and at the end God showed up as Chuck without anyone realizing it. maybe... I grew up Christian and it has a very strong influence on my faith, but now I usually just call myself Spiritual, because I don't believe one faith is necessarily better than another. Yes, God saved Sam, Dean & Cass, but I feel he needed to save them to keep his mission going. But if he was Chuck, then he becomes cruel and I don't like that idea. so yeah I still tend to lean towards Chuck the Prophet...But I could be open to something showing why Chuck and God are more connected than we understood. If that makes sense. :)
  10. Jensen has one thing Jared didn't. A father in the business. Also in Dark Angel he some really good directors, plus he has a natural talent for it. That combination gives him an edge. He worked with some really strong actors on "Days of Our Lives" However, he's even improved as he now understands what it is to be a father. Many talented actors have a richness to them that soars after they hit their mid thirties. Jensen is one of them. It doesn't mean he doesn't have talent or have some good stuff when he was younger it just means notice how much more he has to use now. An example I can give, is Michael Hurst explaining how it use to take him so much work to create a realistic crying scene. However, once he became a father and had a near miss of loosing his son, he could work it up in seconds. I think that is what Jensen can do now. Before he may have needed more time. His soap days also is such a major training ground. You have to get so much dialogue and emotions out with very little turn around and it is considered brutal in the acting world. For weaker actors, I see the growth showing up as they learn from life. One example would be Farrah Fawcett. She was just a pretty face but after being fed up with that image, she got to work. The end result was amazing. I think Jensen's is willing to listen, watch and learn. It is his natural phase. He did it in acting and now in directing. Does that help?
  11. hmm...that one sounds interesting and with the right partner it might be really good. Kind of similar to "The Librarians" on TNT...might have to check it out. :)
  12. To me that is classic Dean redirect. I love early Dean though. I didn't see him as one-dimensional because I saw a guy that was so good at redirecting that no one including Sam could see through his smoke screen. That is what I saw as they started adding the layers to his character. It was unintentional at first and certainly not planned, but Jensen laid the groundwork. I think I can see that coming from a director/actor background. It's how you read a blank script and look for those layers. It's also why he always gets the emotional scenes and this is where Jared failed in his younger days. I see growth now, but Jared has grown with life experiences which is what happens with actors. You really can't become a great actor until after you've experienced more life than a twenty year old. Unless you were someone that experienced some really bad stuff when you were young...If that makes any sense. :)
  13. I think if Carver is wise, he will bring in God and some past angels. Tie it to season 5 and it could be very interesting indeed. I guess the fail for me, is that I can get the mystery of keeping God out until the end, but I want to see the set up even if it doesn't make sense until the end. Krikpe has done this in the past. How he tied in Mary's "I'm sorry" from Home. We didn't really get it till much later. Planting a few more of those threads so we can see it in the end, would make the story epic. So for me it is a fail. My question is, can Carver do something that ties this all together showing he has a real plan? Right now I don't believe he does. But it's also why I come here, so that some of you can give me hope when mine dies. :)
  14. I think he did give a portion of truth and in a way that Dean could hear it. Someone can believe they are totally bad and incapable of winning. Your list shows all the ways that Dean lost, all the ways he made the wrong choice and even though he tries to do a course correction he still fails. But this is why Dean is a hero. He has every reason to quit. Every reason to believe what Famine says but picks himself off one more time to try again. He felt at the time it was the truth, IMO, because he was the only one Famine couldn't touch. He just couldn't see how it could be a good thing and without someone else pointing it out, why should he? It shows that Dean believes this, and that is what broke my heart. What he missed was even with that, he still picks himself off one more time and tries again. It's why he is my favorite, it's why I love him even when the writers screw him up. :)
  15. I've never seen this movie...so I never saw this interpretation. Perhaps if it had been laid out and not shown off like some surprise I could have gotten behind it. I can see what your saying and it might be interesting but the building blocks were missing for me and all I saw was let's destroy the Christian faith. I can see the amusement your feeling now that you explained it, but if you can't see it without someone explaining it, how can it be written well? I wouldn't have a problem with God changing his mind and doing all he can to help out Dean and Sam but show me that. That would have been interesting. So once again it is another fail for Supernatural's writing. But if Carver wants to show that this season and make it clearer...well that might make a very interesting issue. Imagine Dean's reaction...especially since he doesn't have "faith in God".
  16. For me, the introduce Chuck as a prophet writing Dean and Sam's life history. He needs protecting from Lilith, an archangel to keep him safe. Then in the last ep of season 5 out of no where comes this idea that Chuck is God. That he's been hiding in pain sight. So now he looks like this washed up has been. He can't protect himself, but can somehow bring Cas, Dean and Sam back to life...So now they've made Angels jerks, God weak and a has been and I'm suppose to think this is cool. I just can't. It's worst than the darkness stupidity of Season 10. The layers don't match and I don't like it. Personally I just don't believe in this universe of God or angels. You can easily avoid the "Touch by an Angel" by making them warriors that have gone off path because they lack direction. I would rather have a God powerful enough to have a showdown with Death than one that decided to drink himself to death and hide in plain sight. I just don't see the appeal of having Chuck as "God"?
  17. I tend to think that a demand was made to give them less time on screen. Most shows have more than 2 leads and so the schedule isn't so grueling. I doubt Jensen would want to continue for long if it went back to just the 2 brothers. I've always had a problem with Chuck being God. I can see Chuck being taken over at the end but the set up with Chuck as God, stinks for me. I would rather have Chuck come back saying God won't leave him alone and passing on information or having someone else play God...but I get the other side sort of, I just don't like it. IA with Chuck isn't God camp, because why would God need saving? So he is weak too? Doesn't care...The switch comes out of no where and I don't find it personally compelling. JMO :)
  18. I really wish they would give something for Dean. Jensen is a strong actor because he looks for the strongest open choice, the one that gives him the most to play. He is also so professional, unless the storyline was something he really hated, you would barely see it. He gives hints but doesn't come out and say more than I'm so glad the Mark is done. I think Dean desperate to fight the battle alone with no one he can talk to is over at least for now. But we need to the see the consequences even if it is just Dean deciding the hell with it, go back to pretending everything is fine because it's what works for the most part. Maybe it's the guy thing, they don't like to discuss or reflect upon their feelings. Ignore it and it will go away, but I really wish they would give us something to get excited about. Otherwise what's the big deal about the Darkness. So she shows up for 3 or 5 eps, does some damage, not too many people left to kill which at this point might the thing that totally turns me off this show. So I hope they finally have gotten done with this, as it's been done to death, literally. Make Dean have to search for the replacement of Death. Have the boys on the same page to do damage control even if it means they might disappear into nothing. This at least would create the hero aspect of their characters and help to redeem them. I still hope that Dean believes in his heart it was Death but the trick's on him and it wasn't. But it looks like it is getting harder and harder...unless the Joke is on us and Jensen is trolling us but good. He can keep a secret...Hoping for once he is. :) I know the bubble is bursting but don't do it yet...

  20. So a showdown with the Reapers. What if they try to send the boys off to their perfect ideal of punishment but Chuck shows up at the last moment. He needed to stay hidden so that Death couldn't take him down and put the boys in charge. lol Of course it won't happen, but it does make me smile for some reason. How would Crowley, Cas, and everyone handle having the boys in charge and no longer someone they could push around. This could be what happens after having my first day of with students. Tomorrow I teach my students but had one issue with a kid. Oh the joys of teaching. Somehow I'd imagine God saying "the joy of running a world...why don't you boys do it and see if you can do better! :) I'll just be over here imagining Jensen driving baby...
  21. I wanna know if any of the cast members liked your costume. lol Nice job. Beautiful daughter. Seems like Jared is getting hurt often...is supernatural dangerous to his health or is he just a klutz? hee hee
  22. @SueB, Sounds like you had a blast except for the tired feet. Jensen has really come out of his shell...what a great memory. Plus he might remember you now. lol I'm glad Misha could do some of his stuff, just so awful that he got mugged. Did Jared or Jensen give him a hard time for not having a good bodyguard like Cliff? :) Looking forward to the pics and info. I have to live through you since I can't go. So does that make you famous?
  23. @Catrox14 First YEAH!!! you found it. Since this is the Supernatural Forum... Some would say it is your mother's sneaky way of trying to communicate with ya, to let you know that she is still watching over you. Plus it could be a reminder to make that darn bed. I still don't. lol. Sometimes you just need to vent and then the solution shows up! I still hate that. :) Omegamom...ICK...mice, they have got to go. Good luck and may it be a easy repair and clean up. Okay either a stray cat or a cat that lives in the neighborhood killed a crackle, a pesky ugly bird. The yuck part is that is right near the back door. Of course it was a black cat. lol. I hope it finishes it soon as I don't wanna deal with it. Whine, Whine. Plus first day with students tomorrow and I'm not ready...NOPE, nope.

  25. Because in a way you found a piece of your Mom which felt real and live. We do that. We put sentimental value on the weirdest things especially when the lost of a love one is so recent. I have an issue with butterfly rings...I've owned two in a lifetime but lost both. I've tried to find it but can't. There is an emotional issue with the ring which I don't share with anyone. But it's been missing for almost 10 years. I still get upset sometimes, but do my best to move on. Yours is connected to your Mom...and the loss is really recent in the realm of emotions. So allow the feelings and try to retrace your steps and see if you can find it. Maybe you'll get lucky. But also be gentle with yourself. How you feel is how you feel. You may find that if you do something creative, write about it, turn it into a poem...a story or even something else like painting or drawing can help you release the emotions in a positive way and help to ease the anxiety your feeling. BUT most of all, NOTHING is wrong. It is okay that you want it back and well listen if you just need an ear.
