  1. I'm sorry I have to admit that I was all about salad guy's shirt getting burned off. I'm such a perv :(
  2. The commercial isn't back, I just hate that whiny nag so much that it stands out in my mind. I don't ever, ever, ever condone domestic violence, but that Yoplait commercial had me as close as I've ever been to wishing for a woman to get hit. And I hate Yoplait for making me feel that way. And yes, all of their spokespeople have been awful, remember these lovelies? As for the robatussin commercial - all commercials along that vein kill me. Why can't men figure out cough syrup, why do commercials assume men are morons? Men should revolt, its insulting to them for every advertiser to assume they are dummies.
  3. I'm so transparent. I must admit a weakness for a serious swoop bang, although sadly, the show has not met its quota for butterscotch Dum Dums, which I would would give @Drogo the same joy a swoop bang gives me :)
  4. Thats what I've always maintained, but after talking to enough dial tones I realized no one else shared my point of view!
  5. running to the computer when Slim called it was mean. That shit she said to Aysia in the limo was stupid and mean. Her attention seeking by using her sexuality is dumb. Britt may be whack, but she is right, Jada isn't interesting on her own, she uses her sexuality to try to get any attention she can. ANY attention. Her rapping is stupid and annoying. Just because people dont tell her she is being stupid and mean doesnt mean she isnt being both of those things. And its really awful that she will only do it to the two people who are laid back enough to take it. She is mean, and she says stupid crap, and just because she picks on the only two who won't tell her that, doesn't mean that she isn't. there is a reason why no one likes her. Heck, Blu doesn't even like her. There is a reason for that. Its because she is stupid, mean and annoying.
  6. *gasp* I did NOT notice that.....I wonder if it was some sort of clip on super swoop bang.
  7. I thought Rasheeda was in her 40's too. I thought in the first season she had said she was in her 40's and there was some discussion about her being too old to rap. I don't know, she doesn't look like she just came out of her 20's....
  8. Yeah, but then they don't get a free trip and get to be on TV.
  9. I sort of agree with you. The storyline is just so manufactured. I mean every storyline is manufactured, but I guess theirs is just sort of boring and manufactured. I mean its not even a little believable. All of a sudden ugly ass Kirk became attractive to every single woman under 20 in Atlanta. After seasons of seeming to be attached to Rasheeda, suddenly he wants to cheat on her? Suddenly he is saying every asshole thing in the entire world? He hates her mom, the mom hates him, he doesn't believe the child is his. Oops, and then now he is getting the redemption edit. And he seriously can't even act well, every one of his lines he delivers with a monotone. He is as bad as Nikko, but at least Nikko tries to put some fire into his scripted lines...although he can't keep his face straight and he keeps smiling.
  10. Your confusion lets me know that that phantom of the opera swoop bang is accomplishing its goal
  11. LOL - I hate to admit it, but I generally feel the same way. The more I thought it through, the more creepy it became. Sadly for Miranda I think she lives in one of those small towns with 10 people her age. Take away her sister and her best friend and now you have 8 people her age. She should seriously move to a bigger city, maybe not New York or California, but maybe Minneapolis or something so she can be near her mom. Right now Gabby probably seems like her ONLY option, but if she got into a bigger city with more options she could probably see that there are people out there with more to offer.
  12. Yeah - at first I was like "well that was odd, but I hope those crazy kids make it!" and then I realize that Gabby had just pretty much taken advantage of someone who was emotionally vulnerable and thats most likely why Miranda was entertaining the idea of a relationship at all. And thats just sort of ugly, it makes me hope that Gabby doesn't end up going to visit her, and that Miranda just meets a nice guy who doesn't emotionally manipulate her.
  13. Hey, someone has to keep the Dum Dum empire alive. I'm glad its the guy with the serious swoop bang weave.
  14. But why that weave Antwane???? I mean I'm all about a swoop bang, but dang!
  15. I personally think she did it out of guilt. She had built this guy up for so long, saw him in person and immediately he was not at all what she had built him up to be. She had been enamored with a fantasy. He was not the fantasy she had of a cool, rocker, hip guy. Instead, he was a short dude with wacky hair who was really into her, and she wasn't into him at all. I think she felt guilty, and probably a little shallow, because he was nice, just short and unattractive - so she got the tattoo to make him feel better.
  16. judging from dating sites just getting him to spring for the sandwich may be a romantic feat :(
  17. I was wondering if I was the only one who thought that! I don't even mind short shorts, but with the frayed hem? No, no, no, no, no.
  18. However, if you die a slow death - time to sue! If Wendy's date is springing for a sandwich at Wendys on a first date, she will be at 20 piece chicken nuggets to share by the third date, by the time he meets Mr. and Mrs. Wendy they will be at each of them getting one Twix bar a piece.
  19. So is he taking her on the bus to Wendy's for a steak sandwich? I agree Wendy's girl is annoying, but awful understanding about a down economy if she is okay with her date taking her on the bus for fast food sandwiches on their first date, because I can tell you, from the first date, its all downhill in terms of effort. Soon, he will just have her come over for sex and hot pockets.
  20. I agree, although I think there might be some confusion between Kenny and Lenny. Lenny = Rhinestone Cowboy, Kenny = guy who tried to put a pancake in a cup and serve it as breakfast. To this point, IMO, Lenny is not as bad as Pah Stahl. Cats clawing at chalkboards is not as bad as pah stahl to me.
  21. I actually think you both have valid points. He did sign a contract for a show that hasn't been known for its high brow challenges. The show has been very clear that they are looking for a personality, probably even more so than a good cook (although they won't say it, but they sent Luka home before Kenny who wanted to put a pancake in a cup, and that tells me all I need to know). So yes, he should have expected the show to be somewhat wacky. At the same time, I think there is wacky, like a cutthroat food challenge, and then there is "taping Paydays to a fat guy" wacky, which may have been unforseeable. Even in previous seasons if they had a personality challenge there was at least a place for someone to be a cooking expert and not have to be too over the top. The YouTube challenge had no place for someone with cooking expertise, it was just about making yourself a caricature. I wonder if Chris didn't send in auditions to both Top Chef and Food Network Star? I mean, Top Chef gets the very best of the best IMO, so even with his heavy resume he may not have been able to get on Top Chef, but his resume as an actual chef would look amazing to someone at Food Network Star because frankly they are casting...well...they are casting Kenny.
  22. The sad thing is, I can see how someone like Jada can get on your nerves. She just says stupid crap, and is unnecessarily mean. Why did she have to go in at Aysia in the limo? Jada only does shit to Alex and Aysia, who should be the two people she is the nicest to because no one else likes her! Last week it was Alex and the computer, this week its making rude comments to Aysia in the limo. And you really expect no one to comment when you insist you're straight but bring a woman into your bed in front of everyone? And then you're shocked when someone says something? Although, it was mean for some producer to tell her to rap in the confessional, that was awful. However, Britt is still all sorts of whack. She is the weakest bad girl there ever was. She is the biggest flip flopper too. Every other minute she is talking about kicking Jada's ass. The only time she charges Jada is when there are like 10 security people around. Whatever, either beat Jada's ass, or shut the fuck up about it already! As for Aysia that was messy, she knew what she was doing.
  23. Not the mention the audacity of leaving out the one holiday completely created by companies to increase sales by exploiting relationships. That wouldn't have been acceptable, thank you for the correction.
  24. HA! Its like Christmas, they start back to school earlier and earlier every year to get people buying. I remember when back to school happened late August. Pretty soon we're just going to have one holiday called "Chrismagivingoweensterjuly to school"
