  1. Shaun needs to lighten up. What are the odds that the person he falls in love with will be thrown against a wall or fall off the roof of a school bus. (I'm being facetious of course :) )
  2. The more Freddie the better as far as I'm concerned, but I agree that this episode did a great job in showcasing the other cast members. And the best part is that they weren't one dimensional cartoons; but fully fleshed out characters. My "small heart grew three sizes*" when I watched how attentive and comforting Dr. Andrews was to the patient whose charred skin was constricting her trachea. I liked the conversation between Drs Browne and Glassman about how Claire had put in the (whatever kind of tube it was) incorrectly and she lost a patient. He wasn't blaming her; he was using it as a teaching moment. Even Dr. Malendez, who I never liked before, had something nice to say about our Shaun. All in all, a great episode! *Thank you, Dr. Suess
  3. Can someone please tell me what happened to Alexandria? My dang computer is so sloooooooooooooooow and I'm having trouble looking backward in the posts. Thanks!
  4. Me too! This is the week that I finally got to see everyone as doctors instead of villains. Watching this show with my husband, a surgeon, is zapping all of the pleasure out of it for me since he can't keep his big mouth shut. It's just like the way my brother, a Navy JAG officer, ruined JAG for me. From now on, I watch alone. I've said it before and I'll say it again; Freddie is so darn adorable. "I made a REBOA"
  5. Sheriff Lamb!!!! Dang, he had looked familiar to me but I couldn't place him. For some reason I though he'd been on Ally McBeal. I loved Veronica Mars. Were you on TWOP when the people on the boards referred to the other cop in Neptune as "Officer Pornstache"?
  6. LOL!!! Would you feel better if it specified a SOUTH Korean show? ;)
  7. Is a lace front wig something that a woman wears all the time like a weave? Or does it come off at night like a "regular" wig?
  8. Could it be because it contains the lyrics, "Went through to Texas, yeah Texas, and we had some fun" they think it will resonate with the crowd?
  9. This is really old and somewhat obscure and I don't know how many people will know what I'm talking about but it has to do with that old TV show "Cheers". The story revolved around Rebecca the bar manager not wanting to give anyone raises so she convinced them that a new title is MUCH more valuable than mere money. I still remember Woody the bartender saying something along the lines of how proud of himself he was because he out-negotiated Rebecca when she tried to offer him a raise and walked out of there with an important title instead. I kind of think that that's what life as a DCC is like.
  10. Yes, this was the first episode where I didn't want to fast forward through the other cast scenes to get to Shaun. And I agree with you that Freddie is one of the best actors around. He could scare the isht out of me in Bates Motel then make me want to give him a big ol' hug as Shaun.
  11. And don't forget those who are involved with the military. I got "ma'am'd" for the first time by a marine when I was 24 or so and I was mortified and was ready to start checking for gray hairs until my friend assured me that it wasn't because I looked old!
  12. My husband was in the room with me when Holly's meeting with K and J was shown. He saw the list K pushed toward Holly and said, "I bet that's a list of the times she's been seen eating carbs."
  13. When Jerrah goes off to that big football field in the sky, do you think they'll place him in a glass casket and put it on the Star so that mourners can file past and pay their respects? And they could have the cheerleaders standing behind him doing sexy hips (in shifts, of course).
  14. Thank you! I wasn't sure if I was the only person who noticed it or not! I think that was very rude of her. Regarding Savannah as a Disney Princess: her long, red hair might cause some folks to say that she looks like Ariel, aka The Little Mermaid. Except for the fact the she has, you know, legs.
  15. I just finished, I believe, episode 6. The one where the mysterious dude stays in Room 9. Unfortunately, I have to wait until Friday to continue because my daughter went back to her apartment last night! Hey, what do you think about Bradley? She seems to get a lot of hate from posters on here but I don't think she's too bad.
  16. My goodness, Jacie is gorgeous. I like her natural hair better but I don't think she could ever look bad.
  17. This reminds me of....dang, I can't remember her name. She and Cassie ganged up on some TCC one night at rehearsal. Now this is gonna drive me crazy.
  18. She is on the first season, "Murder House" and she's also in the "Coven" series.
  19. Did you know that Vera's younger sister Taissa Farmiga is also an actress? She's been on a couple of "American Horror Story" seasons. I think talent must run in that family! I know what you mean about being thrilled to have so many seasons to watch! I'm actually glad I didn't know about this show when it was on prime time because I'd have had to spread out my watching over a couple of years and that would be no fun for me! My daughter and I tracked down Bates Hotel on Netflix because we both love The Good Doctor and, hey, Freddie was on another show, so let's check it out. The hard thing is that she lives an hour and a half away and made me swear not to watch it without her so I have to wait until the weekends. I am, however, remaining strong. So far!
  20. Hmm, that's completely possible. Now that I think about it, I can't recall if they mentioned Laramie or not!
  21. I can't believe I actually took the time to look this up, but the University of Wyoming is located in Laramie as is the University of Wyoming medical school. So, if Shaun went there, he wouldn't have had to leave Laramie until he started his clinical training during year 3 of med school.
  22. In all fairness to Shaun, the older doctor told him that he could contact the super "24 hours a day" and there are apartments that do have 24 hour service so it wouldn't be unheard of(although Shaun's place looks decidedly low rent so I doubt that would be a place with 24 hour services, but Shaun wouldn't know that).
  23. And don't forget the malrotation in that young girl last week. And he would have done the liver transplant if it had come to fruition. Who knows, maybe that's why the hospital hired Dr. Mole; he's like five surgeons in one! Oh and the bartholin cyst removal was performed by the guy who wants the President of the hospital's job and who is evidently the Chief of surgery. Remember what Dr. Mole told Pretty, young African American doctor about how a plastic surgeon CAN drain an abscess but the Chief of surgery DOESN'T drain abscesses? But I guess bartholin cyst removals are so rare in San Jose that he just couldn't help but take the case.
