By today's standards that seems like a nothing of a story, but I've read articles from 1965-66 about the show's start, and the idea that a girl from a good, upper middle class home could be a juvenile delinquent was considered shocking. Pearls were clutched!

I've seen a casting notice from this show for a newborn baby (possibly played by twins or triplets), with filming set to begin this next Monday.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the flashback. Until recently, using a flashback featuring actors not in the episode would've required paying Susan Flannery and Betty White the same fee they got for the original episode, but as of July 1, the actresses only have to be paid the daytime minimum fee for use of the flashback.

Yesterday was the 10 year anniversary of Rick falling off the roof after fighting with Ridge, and today is the 10 year anniversary of Brooke having doubts when Ridge put the blame on Rick. The more things change...

Last Monday I saw a casting notice for this show; they're casting the role of a preemie baby, to be played by one baby or possibly identical twins or identical triplets. They're looking for babies around 7 lbs. I'm not sure how far ahead they're filming at the moment, but the first episode with the baby will film this Wednesday.

Sheila has a history of meeting up with sidekicks who are conveniently idiotic enough to fall for whatever horse pucky she's spewing: 1993: "I wanted to break into the lab because you turn me on, and not because I wanted to screw with the blood samples." 1998: "I need to escape prison so I can kidnap my daughter, so if you trade places with me by letting me wear your glasses, and you serve out my 5 year prison sentence, I promise that when you get out I'll give you a million dollars." 2002: "I'm very upset you're threatening to tell Amber what we've done, but I am absolutely going to give you $100,000 to leave town, and by the way it's bees you're deathly alllergic to, right?"

That would amuse me, if only because every love interest James ever had was also at some point involved with Eric: Sheila, Brooke, Taylor, Maggie, Stephanie, Lauren.
