  1. What gets me even more irritated is when they say I's, instead of My. Are. You. Fricking. Serious??????? WTF is I's?????!!!!!! "Tom and I's relationship." - WHAT?! It's "MY relationship!!!!!" Yeah, he's lazy af. Most of them are. Ever since being on the show, they've stopped hustling. Tom wants credit and recognition on other people's work. Dickhead. That reminded me of Lisa doing that event to stop Yulin Dogmeat Festival in LA. Nobody in Yulin even knew that, that was happening, nor did they give a shit. What was even the point of having that event? Another pat on the back for Lisa, for not actually doing anything. The event didn't change one bloody thing about the Dogmeat Festival. She's a Slacktivist. I laughed sooooo hard when I read that!!! LOVED the way you said it.
  2. OMG, the way you said that was so funny! Thanks for the laugh! Yeah, I'm an actor too. I was in a school play in the second grade. No, wait! I was in another play in kindergarten. Almost forgot. Where tf does Scheana get off in criticising anyone in regards to sleeping with someone they're not married to???? She was banging Eddie Cibrian for two fricking years. She definitely knew that he was married. With children. I'll always be on Brandi's side for that one.
  3. You're now my new best friend on this site! 🙂 Love your posts.
  4. By that logic, Olivia would most definitely be a rapist too. So, shut up Olivia! Stop 'waiting' for the 'rapist gene' to appear on yourself or your son. Stop with your fear bullshit.
  5. Yep, I never ever EVER want to see those two as a couple. What effing reason is there to put them together??? Carisi had a moment of temporary insanity when he had that mini crush on Rollins for two seconds, but I just don't understand why the writers are trying to drag this bullshit out. I want Carisi to come in one day with a wedding ring and when questioned about it, reply that he got married to an off-screen girlfriend. We don't need to see his wife, I just want her to be a nice, normal woman he's married to.
  6. I was watching an earlier season of LO and it had a LOT of courtroom stuff in it. One of the closing arguments by McCoy was almost 5 minutes long, which is a long time for an episode. There's been very little courtroom stuff for a long time. I miss the days of SVU where there were regular characters with designated positions doing their jobs for each case. Remember when Peter Scanavino started on SVU, he said that Carisi is unpolished and he's there to shake things up a bit, but he didn't really do that? I think he's doing more of that now, than back when he was starting in SVU. On the upside, PS got to play a character with two different roles within the same show, so that's good for his acting experience.
  7. ^^^^ Everything you said. Btw, is your screen name from an episode of Veronica Mars?
  8. I wish we could give a multiple range of likes, because I also wanted to give a laugh rating for your post! Referring to VK as Pete Campbell, I suddenly laughed so hard! Also reminded me of the time when I saw Jared Leto in Requiem for a Dream and wondered "What is Jordan Catalano doing on Coney Island??"
  9. Maybe the writers are trying to see if the viewers like Carisi as an ADA and change a few things here and there for the season 21 ending. They may take him back to the squad after this season (or the next, depending on the ratings) and give him some proper courtroom scenes, but again, anyone who has put themselves through law school will probably want to practice law afterwards, not just for a few months, especially when they studied as an adult out of their own choice, and not because it was something their parents wanted. I'm guessing Carisi has a LOT of student loans right now.
  10. For the US audience, could you please tell me the reason why the next episode won't air until January? Is it because they start airing Christmas shows around this time?
  11. Why TF is it always so difficult for the writers to come up with intelligent, strong and competent female characters who are neither pushovers nor bitches? Or a total freaking mess who always brings their personal life shit to work??? Is it really that hard to write a female character like that?! To be good at their jobs but have a normal, regular personal life? Is that too generic and god forbid... boring??
  12. 'Debt' with Ming-Na by far. It also featured Huang as one of the main storyline characters and he interacted with the little girl who was the niece and he knew when Li Mei was lying when he heard the conversation because he understood Mandarin.
  13. The title reminded me of something from Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
  14. I wish Tahani was holding a bag of Cheetos in those sweatpants. Or a giant bowl of shrimp and a Churro Dog. Of course Gen was going to Noah's-Ark-ify the planet. Humans, as flawed as we are, Are very complicated and bad people can (unknowingly) do good things and good people can also do really bad things. Always interesting to see how people and beings try to create a perfect world in supernatural/sci-fi shows.
  15. You know the intro at the beginning of every episode? The part where he says "In New York city, the dedicated detectives who investigate these vicious felonies are members of an elite squad known as the Special Victims Unit." We're all in trouble if someone like freaking Rollins is considered to be 'elite'. WTF!?! They couldn't get someone better than HER in the whole of New York City??? For any Arrested Development fans, think of Michael/George Michael saying "..... Her... ??" Okay, don't stone me because I'm about to compliment Benson on something and it pains me to do so, but I do admire the fact that she hasn't lost her sensitivity when dealing with victims, even after all these years. Yes, the whispering is there and it's unnecessary, and the sensitivity part only applies to female victims, but at least she listens to them without rushing them. More than I can say for Rollins. Leight loves Peter Scanavino, so probably wants to give Peter good stuff to work with, but they've made Carisi's new role too wishy-washy. Maybe they regret mentioning Carisi being in law school at the beginning and should have made it like Carisi was considering studying law and did a semester of it in college, but did something else instead. We had another character who was a cop before becoming an ADA like Jo Marlowe (Sharon Stone), but she wasn't shown as a cop for many seasons before becoming an ADA. Carisi jumping out of the van and climbing up the stairs last week would have been even more enjoyable if the whole time we weren't wondering "Why is he doing that???"
  16. Yes! I always think that, especially if the actor is not a big name. I just wonder, "They could have just gotten any actor who could play that part, so why get someone who has to learn a new accent if they're doing it so terribly?" It's really rare to hear a genuine Aussie accent done well by a non-Australian. Something about our drawl and the way we pronounce the vowels that makes it difficult for people to copy. Or it kiiiiind of starts off as a version of Ocker Aussie accent and morphs into some type of Cockney accent.
  17. Oh yeah, I've seen her do the impersonations from her stand up (on Youtube, not live). Being from a Korean background, I definitely had some laughs.
  18. Hey, clever play on the title - 'Help' instead of 'Hell', since The Good Place is based on Sartre's play 'No Exit', where the saying is "Hell is other people." I loved Bad Janet's from last week - "Women in $400 yoga pants refusing to vaccinate their children. Vindictive nerd at Apple are changing the charger cable shape. AGAIN!!!" I wonder how many times Kristen practiced doing the evil laugh. I can actually see her doing that. If they got 100 babies dressed in Janet's clothes all in one place, that would my absolute favourite scene of the entire series for me!!! Bouncing a quarter off Chidi's butt is totally something Eleanor would do (just to see that it bounced) and it would be even better if she did that at Mindy's place, since she taped them having sex. Well, she DID eat a Cheeto, so.... I'm guessing that was a gateway snack to being a commoner. ... who tried to divert the attention from herself by blaming Jason for knowing more than he should and saying that HE is the demon in a Jian-yu suit. I'm still not convinced that Chidi should be in The Bad Place. Yes, his indecisiveness made people frustrated, but does that make him a bad person? Bad enough to be in the same place as someone like Brent? I say no.
  19. Oh my god, there's someone else! Thank you! I've never liked her and can't stand her. The first time I saw her, I was like, no freaking way, please don't let her become a regular. Then they did THIS!!! A main character this season. WTF. I love magic, please don't judge me people! So I loved all the 'earth magic' they did, as well as Tuxedo In A Can! That actually made me laugh. This sounds strange coming from an Aussie, but it really grates me when I hear an Australian accent in American shows, whether it's a fake accent or real. There's only one type of Australian accent I hear on shows and that's not how most Aussies talk. Also, most Aussies don't really say 'G'day' or 'Crikey' to others, especially in shops or on a regular basis. The last time I heard someone say Crikey was by a person over 80 years (yes, I know that there will be Aussies here saying "I'm 25 years old and I say Crikey and G'Day all the time"). Then having to hear someone FAKE that broad Australian accent had me cringe so hard. If you want to hear a properly-spoken Aussie accent by an actress, listen to how Yvonne Strahovski speaks in interviews.
  20. I think the writers/producers are undecided about Carisi. On the one hand, they finally got to use Carisi's law degree and made him into an actual practicing lawyer. On the other, they miss having him on the squad (as do we), so they put him in a police-related situation.
  21. Same. Especially when, even after the chains had been taken off, he was still walking like he was still wearing them. Reminded me of what they said in Shawshank Redemption, about being 'institutionalised' and whenever Red asked his boss for a bathroom break after he got out, and the boss tells him that he doesn't have to keep asking and Red says "Forty years I've been asking permission to piss."
  22. That is unfortunately true. A lot of cops regard social/welfare workers as people who slow their work down in catching the perp. But what about the people who have been attacked? They need help more than the criminals. Like Munch once said about SVU, that he found working in homicide easier to deal with because they're already dead, but it's the live ones who rip your heart out.
  23. NO, NO, NONONONO!!! You guys are amazing!!!
  24. Oh, but I'm not a parent. I couldn't POSSIBLY understand.
  25. You need to keep cramming as many life events into her life, otherwise, how can she have enough experience to solve every single case AND run a precinct??? Peter Scanavino uploaded an excerpt of a podcast he did regarding the Rollins meltdown on his Twitter account. Well, he doesn't really say that much about it, but it's there if you want to check it out. In New York CITY. This is in the same line of everyone-is-so-safe-here as TV characters in NY never locking their doors. SO much reality there. I live in a safe neighbourhood in Australia where women can safely go out at night alone but we ALWAYS lock our doors.
