I think the OP means shortest lasting in the run of CBS "fame", they basically had a 5 month run, June through November, although technically the timeframe will be longer because there will be a delay before the TAR season airs (also, there are spoilers in the TAR thread with their placement info if you're interested), with a very quick turnaround between shows (a couple of weeks?). This is in contrast to a duo like Brendan and Rachel, who spanned years from their first appearance on BB (2010) all the way through TAR all stars (2014) along with their continued affiliation with the show, down to announcing their baby news on air. I think it may extend a bit further, as CBS might invite Jessica back for BB, although I can't see Cody returning, he would just sink her game again if she refused to work with anyone he nixed. If they don't win TAR, and they provided enough entertainment value, maybe they'll make another season of that too (provided they are still together). I don't see Jessica turning down any opportunities but Cody may be content going back to a normal life. Fan fave doesn't change one's placement on BB and "ability" to play the game. Plus, a lot of that was due to (IMO) a couple of factors: Jessica's campaigning for him to win and the show kind of hyping up Jody as a great love story, and people wanting to stick it to the remaining houseguests who were pretty despised. It wasn't as an organic a win as someone like Donny, who people just really liked (or even Zach/Nicole who were top 3 in votes) in BB16.

Im kind of barely here, watching parts of episodes on the dvr as I fall asleep. Although I like these people better than NY, they just aren't that entertaining. Charmaine's going to act like an idiot and put her crotch on cam, ridiculous for a 25+ college educated woman; all the men are going to be misogynistic; Don and Ashley (and Phor and whoever and Van and whoever) are going to be stupid and borderline abusive to each other and anyone in spitting distance of their toxic relationships; Cobra, Lily, and Danielle are going to be low self esteem pits of neediness. I can't watch large chunks of this at a time. At least in the past seasons we were seeing some decent art. Now all we've got is Phor's raggedy work. We havent seen anything from Ryan due to his "heart attack" and broken arm, and we've only seen one flower from Kat. I guess Bone Thugs are the DMX of this franchise, but I was watching Chicago because they did good work, not because I wanted to see a parade of has been rappers and young football players.

I didn't mind Cynthia's party theme. I think that as a model, she's had enough looks that people could choose things that suited them *just like any themed party* and I don't find it especially narcissistic. I think that as the first big event of the season, which started filming only a few weeks after the last, it may have been hard to quickly choose a theme and plan an event for the first big shoot with everyone. Have no idea why she would be so invested in Peter, unless it's the fact that he doesn't care about her that makes her want to make things "ok" with him. Maybe everyone else, she left before the altar or left wanting more, but Peter used her and still doesn't GAF and she just can't reconcile that? At that point, NeNe had laid hands, had experienced a bit of fame and was just trying to relay her experience. She wasn't ridiculing Porsha or dragging her, just saying...hey this could impact your career, it's not worth it. She was very mellow and even tempered in her words to Porsha. I really don't get Porsha's issue with it other than pride. Obviously she didn't learn anything since she continued to get in people's faces, fight, and chase women down the street. Overall a dull episode, don't care to see Kim come back. Don't really care about Kenya or her slow talking daddy right now. Sheree is hanging on by a thread, and aligning herself with Porsha is setting herself up for her second ejection from the show. She better learn how to play the game. Porsha doesn't have much to offer, but I'm supposing she will align with Kim later on...at least Kim has a bit more return power. I despise NeNe, but if she can be the one to shut Porsha up (and I believe she's one of the few Porsha will feel like she can't run up on), then let her do her job until Porsha is out the door.

The funny part of this is that Moniece barely raises her kid, and seems like Kail's on that path herself. For reference, Moniece is on Love and HipHop Hollywood, her dad was in a pretty well known gospel/R&B group and her baby daddy was in B2K. I was surprised to see that she tweeted Kail...are they acquaintances? Is Kail trying to weasel her way into the next steps of her reality tv "career"? Fighting with baby daddies would be a good starter storyline as she lives the single girl life in LA.

I have to disagree on some points presented in this thread. 1) It was acceptable for young children to play outside by the road in an apartment complex. I absolutely think it is not ok for a 6 and 8 year old to be totally unsupervised in a public area alongside the road. Not only are there physical hazards (playing by the road!) but in this sort of publicly trafficked area, who knows what could happen to them or what sort of predator could happen upon them? Not only was this not likely their first time outside alone, but they could easily be grabbed and driven off the main road with no one the wiser for quite a long time. By then they could be out of state, raped, sold into sex trafficking, or even murdered. Yeah, it's not ok to have little children to play outside unsupervised along the road in the public eye. Wrong. Do we even believe this is the first time? No way. It's not even like they are on The Land playing in their own secluded space. Anyone can see and grab them. 2) Barb is 100% to blame for Jenelle's behavior. Since when is one parent the only one responsible for a child? And since when is a 25 year old adult and willing parent of MULTIPLE children not responsible for their own behavior. Yeah, Barb may be histrionic and a yeller and everything else, but she is not responsible for the impact that the absentee, abusive father had on their children, nor is she responsible for genetic predispositions of which she was not aware (or that possibly didn't come from her). She is also not responsible for the willing choices that Jenelle made to leave her child, steal from Barb, become a heroin addict, or deal with, become pregnant by, and marry various abusive men. Two parents were involved with creating Jenelle, and she is now a grown woman responsible for herself. To blame Barb only is IMO, very short sighted, revisionist, and absolving jenelle of blame in all her fucked up ways. I will say in my uneducated yet personally experienced opinion, Jenelle suffers with Borderline Personality Disorder, which while really fucked up, doesn't absolve you from being a piece of shit asshole.

The difference is, that while Danielle was as crazy as she was (maybe still is, time will tell), she was the one who was technically victimized on the show with Ashley attacking her. In this case, Phaedra was the one who caused the trouble. Like I mentioned in a post in NeNe's thread, the current climate that is hyperaware of issues about sexual assault is not conducive to welcoming people who err on the wrong side, like Phaedra did. In addition, I would think there would need to be a whole new cast for that to happen. I don't think anyone who is currently on the show would want to film with her. Certainly not Kandi or Kenya, I seriously doubt Cynthia would fuck with her. Kim was never that friendly to Phaedra, and NeNe already has too many strikes with her rape comments to befriend a rape allegation spreader. I would definitely have a problem with it if Bravo brought her faking, sneaking, lying ass back on the show. I just don't see humility as a character trait she would grasp, even if it would be nice to see her groveling and repentant.

Sheree was like this as well with her hoity toity attitude and fashion line with no fashions, she just hit the skids quicker because she didn't have the charisma to make connections. In other news, Life and Style mag and allabouttrh are reporting (same source, seems like Radar online so take with a grain of salt) that due to the controversy, some of the ladies are refusing to film with NeNe and this may lead to problems with her employment with Bravo. I can see Kim using this as her excuse to not film with NeNe (although the real reason would be icing her out of her money bec of the beef with Brielle, IMO) and Porsha and Sheree wanting to keep allies and not "play for the wrong team" to use NeNe's words from a few years back. I can also see Bravo letting her go. After all, she's not a big draw anymore, and I'd bet she's a hassle for the production crew to deal with. In addition, with the current climate of awareness about sexual assault, the #MeToo movement, and Harvey Weinstein, as well as the fact that they JUST fired Phaedra for rape related comments, NeNe's words are not going to be readily excused or forgotten. Easy reason to use some sort of morals clause to get rid of her early or just not sign her again.

The casts of AYTO get worse and worse as the seasons go on. There is virtually no reason for anyone who actually wants to play the game and win money to go on. These people are too stupid to keep their drawers on for a damn million dollars. This level of stupidity also guarantees that the real worlders and older challenge folks will continue to win on The Challenge just because AYTO cant get their heads out of their asses long enough to strategize.
