Did Nora really have to ask Thawne if she screwed up? And he must be delirious to say No. Nice of the future prison to give Thawne equipment in this cell. When Barry iced Acid Master's hands, Nora should have been right behind him to slap the cuffs. She is so absent minded! Is there a rule to not be called in twice in one day for questioning? Why was Dr. Ambres the only one to be killed? Especially, when she cared for Gracie in the hospital. There was no reason for her to spare the rest of them. I hope the cure improves Dwyer's/Cicada's speech pattern. Too early to dedicate a drink to XS. What has she done to earn it?

I would have laughed if Diggle complained about wearing the SCPD uniform. Anything is better than the ARGUS crap he had on. It's amazing how they couldn't be team players for one mission with the SCPD. How will Diggle end up adopting Connor? I'm guessing Bronze Tiger and the mother will be murdered. What's the point of Slabside saying Diaz was "stabbed" instead of being "toasted". Dead is dead! They'll be scrutinized either way.

It might be high. It was convenient for them to have the Morae (sp) kept invisible at times (and all we heard were growls). Nothing says "I love you and please take me back" than a bullet and serum! What are the chances it was Eve who shot him? Camera focused on her after Lena's comment. Their arrogance made them think no one had the strength to lift it (no need to hide it).

Poor girl had to run outside a few times to feed the meter. She needs a win badly. I am close to sharing your sentiment.

This episode was a mess with Lockwood and the silly rally fight. When Supergirl went east to west (twice) and J'onn went North to South, did they go in the straight line and ignore the other coordinates? No wonder they didn't find Elite. Nice security at the fortress. Eve has grown since her first season (not the ditz anymore). James probably thought she would just spill all the answers but she handled him well. (Sorry to be shallow) But I was surprised James didn't give a long stare at her as she walked out his office. Haley told Brainy to hack a message board to see who commented about the rally but the website is highly protected? Couldn't they read the following comments shown from the original post on the DEO's big screen? No more Guardian? Just stand by and take pictures now. At the end, everyone hugged it out, went to a diner for pancakes and looked at all the pictures James took. Didn't take long for the peaceful J'onn to break. Oh no! Who shot JR James?

Yes. I am sure he will find a way to avoid the execution. But it's nice to see him fail from time to time. "Aerial photography" or "looking for his lost cat" could be Dembe's excuse if the police ever decided to follow him. He could mess up and say "we wanted to study the layout for Red's escape".
-
I'm happy Red's plan failed. Next time, consult Lex Luthor on successful prison escapes. (On other shows) every time there's a foiled escape, they never call to chase the helicopter or get away car.

When Weller said he had to take a second mortgage to fund his efforts to finding Jane, I felt sorry for him. For years he has put up a lot for/from Jane, nearly dying/taking beatings on many occasions to save her or even fending off her attempt to kill him. He needs to start asking himself: is the juice worth the squeeze? That goes for Reade too! No major scenes outside the FBI building? I think this is the second or third time they have done this type of episode. I guess they are having budget issues. Of course! It's Weitz that's made to look stupid and now the puppet. It's curious why the woman didn't finish Tasha in the restroom. Burke's man did not have enough to pay for both a kill and take the SD card offered on the menu (was it a one or the other deal)? Tasha is having a hard time lately, now her old locker's gone. How long is she going to suffer?

With Sullivan's injuries, I really thought the character wasn't going to be seen again and we were going to get a new captain. (With this show) I can see tryst scenario happening. I hope it doesn't take many episodes to drag out the reveal. If Sullivan/Andy had a tryst, she might have put him back in the hospital (she would need to be real gentle with his fragile spine). Also, if the entire house and Ryan are giving them stares.....they didn't keep it a secret (like the chief and Vic). (Less likely) Maybe the odd stares were for him giving the group (except Bishop and Andy) bad performance reviews and they didn't get pay raises. (Less likely) Maybe Andy put in her candidacy for the captain position and he doesn't know and rest of the house are aware/think it's awkward he's there. BTW - Andy is a some host. She has guests and her father in her apartment and she's hooking up with Ryan in the bedroom.

With this show, I was expecting the Penguin or someone to interfere in the middle of the ceremony (I'm sure it was tough for the writer to resists the urge).

S02.E17: Albert Einstein and the Story of Another Mary
mxc90 replied to Bort's topic in Young Sheldon
Last season, we saw Sheldon play the piano (with no lessons) flawlessly and the music teacher said he has perfect pitch. Now he struggles with the violin? -
Ha Ha! You're right! That was a fast exit from Jack Flash. Poor Travis had to call his cell in the next scene. He was probably in the next room. I am not familiar with his job jumpings. Where will he go next? Maybe there will be an upcoming "Post Office" show and he'll be nice and safe.
-
Andy is truly blessed. How did she come through that fall with just a cut over the eye brow???!!! From that distance all three should be dead. In the end, she gets a medal and a great apartment. "All hands on deck" and acting Captain Herrera benches two people! If the communications aren't working, shouldn't there be a back up plan (can't have a fire house grounded)? So the HQ radios are now working, should Andy's radio be able to contact HQ when she was outside or was she too far? The show didn't do a good job building up/executing this major "Wind Storm" to the city. The fire fighters had one call from last episode and they were back at the house for a big feast, petty talk and an intervention ( with no Sopranos style beating). It's been 4 months, who is captain while Sullivan is out (I missed it)? Pruitt? The group probably haven't seen Sullivan for a while and instead of greeting him nicely (ending the show on a good vibe) they instantly turn to stares and curious, shady looks at him and Andy. Last season, Ben gave this big passionate speech about wanting to be a fire fighter and now is ready to give it up? Andy must have been concussed from the fall and hitting her head on the rock, should she been in the helicopter (at a high altitude)?

On three occasions (at the morgue, restaurant and bank), Susan and Jai are alerted of "danger" coming Will's way and (except for Karen) they never made an attempt (run in the morgue, hop in their cars or just run downstairs in the bank) to help. What a disgrace! Forget about only getting rid of Ray, those two should be replaced too.
-
At the time, I was thinking of just bringing out the some scissors or bolt cutters (if it's too thick). I don't remember anyone being the crack shot.

If the rookies read their "easy" lines correctly, would they really have been "punked"? Once again Chen is made to look stupid. Isn't this a job where the U.S. Marshals take lead? Bradford must have nine lives. I was sure he got shot on the driver's side. I thought West's father made it through clean by the writers. Nope! Now add him to the list of "other" cops they will abuse (dirty cop). I find it hard to believe Grey sent all the available police to Nolan. There were a bunch of cops just skipping around the police station. Bradford gets a text from Deacon about Marcos but doesn't tell his superiors until he reaches the location? That street should have been flooded with cops from the start. (Deep down) maybe he wanted to prove the lady wrong about analytics and go alone??!! Did Caleb have to do that to poor aunt Sallie? She would have made him a PB&J sandwich as he collected the money. If they had tasered or shot him, his falling down would not have caused the rope to pull the trigger from that position. Are we going to see the little militia make a return in future episodes? Or was this just a little preaching moment from the writers? There's probably more the Beth story. She probably put Graham in the "friend zone" and it scared him away. Their break room has a lot of candy. No wonder some of them are out of shape.

Not one "thank you" from Cisco to Barry! Next time King Shark has Cisco in that position, Barry should pass the shark some "hot sauce", wish Cisco well, and run away. They had to throw in another dig at Oliver! Terrible. Only thing missing from Sherloque's love connection was him saying "we'll be back in two and two". Caitlin tells Barry and Cisco King Shark is approaching and they reply they can't see him. At that time they never looked down in the water. Their view was in the air. Poor direction. Good to see Joe back. He looked refreshed and with more energy! When Nora is not the focus she is not terrible. Nice plan to ask Cicada for his permission! How fast can they ask the question as he is trying to kill them? Is King Shark/Shay wearing stretchy jeans?

S02.E14: The Book of Secrets: Chapter Four: Original Sin
mxc90 replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Black Lightning
Whenever Will makes an appearance, there's almost a guarantee he is going to receive a beating. The actor might as well practice his falls whenever the people from the show call him. -
Finally! Diaz got what was coming to him. Not enough time to watch and take in the moment though. Anyway, Good riddance! I was rooting for Virgil's people when they were fighting the Ghost Initiative. The real reason Diggle quit: he wants to stop wearing that hideous uniform. Laurel boasts about being a good DA but we never see proof of it. Princess didn't bring her security?
-
Thanks! So HAT went out of his way plan a breakout, kill the guard by the bus stop but didn't study the layout of the prison that would have benefited his major strength (he wasn't able to pull a map out of the hat?). None of the other guards didn't notice Danny (the guard at the bus stop) looked a little different? I guess Menagerie is special to get a personal letter. I hear inmates on other levels get singing telegrams.
-
Too bad Mackenzie can't see through James. Once he breaks up with Lena his journalistic integrity suddenly returns. Did Manchester and Hat need to go through all the fighting/killing to escape prison? They could have teleported to the girl's cell and then magically disappeared in minutes. I guess Claymore is the new border wall. Where are the president's advisors? The show is creating many villains now, with Manchester, Liberty, the president, and Lena(?).
-
Yes. I remember now. Thank you!
-
I think Hallie was murdered and (I'm not totally sure) his mother killed his father (she was in jail for years) then released. The writers are making sure he's having a rough life.
-
Absolutely. (Not in any episode order) He faced all the political nonsense being an alderman, dealing with street gangs, caught up in the nasty strip club mess (turned out the place was trafficking girls, one girl was murdered and he was almost framed), leaped into water (with Severide) from a building as it exploded, survived the warehouse fire (when thought he was dead), putting up with Gabby's greatness for all those years, provided protection for a scared little boy and walked him to school through a rough/dangerous neighborhood (I guess driving was too easy), have to endure Boden's stares everyday, his apartment caught fire (thankful his picture with Gabby was not destroyed), now rooms with Severide (must listen to his banging all night) and escaped with no injury when two fire trucks collided. After all that, one missed bullet left him shaken?! I'm sure Boden talked sense back into him. Original owners: Hermann, Dawson, Otis and Shay. I lost track when Stella got involved. I think she took the initiative one day, just jumped behind the bar, started serving drinks and no one told her to stop. Is there still a Molly's 2?
-
I think all three too. Matt just wanted to sit in silence with the lights dim. After watching again, Kyle told Matt he tried calling and hoped he didn't mind him dropping by. I guess he couldn't take a hint when Matt didn't answer the phone. Earlier this season, didn't Matt rush into an elevator shaft to rescue someone and was almost crushed by an elevator? He didn't seemed rattled after that near death. I wouldn't know but I guess one reacts differently when almost being shot as to almost being crushed???!!!!! Hermann has Otis practicing in the bar and Otis nearly hits two women with a wiffle ball. If that ball had hit one of the women; there's a lawsuit. Hermann should know better. I believe he would have. I don't think he wanted any of his co-workers finding out how he really felt (by the gun not firing the first time). No problem! Happy to help.
