No (if I was paying enough attention) Liam had a brother(?) who was also in the war and committed suicide afterward, but their mother insists on saying "he was cleaning his gun." No, you were not paying enough attention, they were talking about that military friend of Liam's, who shot himself a couple of episodes ago. The friend in the hospital came out of his coma and told his mother that he was not trying to commit suicide, but had an accident cleaning his gun. The friend's mother told Liam's mother that story and Liam's mother told Liam that story. Liam told his mother that he was definitely trying to kill himself, but she didn't seem to believe him.

And the next day 300 hungry kids showed at my house looking for a meal and a place to live, little did I realize I signed up to become the local branch of Children's Camp for Hunger.

If showing up rich, useless parasites for being rich, useless parasites, I'm all for it. Jill was obviously planning to spend several thousand dollars shopping. While I can see not wanting to make a $50,000 donation, her insistence on just making a $500 donation was kind of a dick move. Even a $5,000 donation would not have had a serious impact on her life. And it's not like she earned the money herself because she developed a product or a business service and got wealthy that way. She's a trust fund baby who has no concept of the real world. I have no problem with what Jill did and I thought Tammy was extremely rude to call her out on it, especially since Tammy went begging to Jill to buy her a van in a recent episode. She picked a local charity and did the research into the organization and believed in the cause. If Jill had told Tammy that that was the money she had set aside to buy Tammy a van or it could go to the charity, I wonder which one Tammy would have chosen. The fact that Jill did it in a hurry, was under duress from talking to Marjorie's new boyfriend and missed putting in a decimal point, shouldn't invalidate her good deed. If this would have happened while she was paying her electric bill, nobody would say that she would be wrong in wanting her money back. How much money she has shouldn't affect our view of Jill as a person, sure everybody could do more, but I am not upset if she chooses not to. A lot of people only give to charity to get a tax break.

I think it was a cold case brought up by true crime podcasters and the lady that Det. Donovan wants to bone. I believe they said that digging up her sister was covering up (like a train that can't be seen because there is another train in front of it) something else that Jenny hasn't yet come to grips with. At one point her sister's body disappearing and she continued to dig. Liam's psychological trauma was military service. Liam's parents raise chickens (sometimes buying super fancy expensive chickens, which is why they were in town and decided to pay Liam an unannounced visit). Liam grew up on a working farm. Liam would name all the animals so that his parents wouldn't want to kill them, but they did anyway. Liam's parents speak French sometimes because only they and Liam understand it, so they can mock openly the people they are with without them realizing what was said.

Who is Nina? They might mean Nia, the Black lady employee with the very short hair.

Speaking of Liam's parents, I wonder if they would still question the inappropriateness of his older girlfriend if they would have been blown up by a booby-trap grenade before they every got a chance to climb up into his previous tree house home.

S02.E03: Chapter Eleven - The Heiress
AnimeMania replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in The Mandalorian
The introduction of the Blue Mando Group. You would have thought their noble families might have handed down a few more pieces of Beskar Armor considering they think they should be the next rulers of the planet. -
I thought it was weird that the idea that Cheyenne had about staggering the starting times so that everyone wasn't standing around the time clock waiting to punch in was debunked by the next episode shown which said as soon as you enter the store the Zephra App punches them in. It was an overall funnier episode, I can't understand when and why people are removing their masks. Not a lot of employees doing work in this episode.

I didn't find a lot in the first two episodes of this season of Mom funny. I think they are avoiding the silly story lines which is usually where the ladies shine. I did enjoy Jill's shopping spree and Tammy's silly scene at the underprivileged girl's charity. There seems to be a lot of life shaming going on in these two episodes, you would think the ladies would be more comfortable with each other's life choices by now.

Tichina Arnold who plays Tina Butler had surgery on her foot recently. Let's see how much she decides to move around in the new season.

S02.E02: Chapter Ten - The Passenger

They must have filmed this episode a long time ago to already have a toy depicting the scene. What is that green thing on the floor of the box? The rest of the space in the box should have been filled up with spiders of various sizes. 🎆🎆🎆🎆 🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆 🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆 Why is there no spider emojis!!! -

I hope the majority of this show isn't in B&W, something about that turns me off.

That poor guy, he had about as much control as a cat sitting on a Roomba.

It could be a boon to those still engaging in arranged marriages. Knowing from birth who your kid should marry. Most arranged marriages benefit/strengthen the two families in some way and are not based on love. This seems like it would be counterproductive, unless you are hoping you will get a wealthy/influential family. It seems easier just to hand pick the type of family you want and groom your child for that position. There is no indication of the parameters of the test. A baby may not be capable of understanding or answering the (questions/inputs) that the test might require.
-
You would be an irresponsible parent if you let your baby sign up for online dating. It might be a good selling point if they find that happily married naturally formed couples are 89% compatible, you should be perfectly happy with any soulmate higher than that. Since they have people from all around the world, that shouldn't be that hard to find. So far the TV show hasn't convinced me that the soulmates chosen by the computer are the real deal or are just very compatible.
