‘Ms. Marvel’ Series Completes Production in Thailand Despite COVID Resurgence (EXCLUSIVE) Production has wrapped on “Ms. Marvel,” a Disney-Marvel series with a Muslim teen lead character and a significant Asian cast. Filming was relocated to Thailand after a stint in Georgia, U.S. The six-part series features newcomer Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, a New Jersey-raised teenager who discovers that she has special powers. The character arc has her finding out who she is and learning about relationships. The Thai shoot, under the direction of two-time Oscar winner Obaid-Chinoy, spanned episodes four and five in their entirety. With Living Films as production services company, and Chris Lowenstein as line producer for Thailand, sets were constructed at the modern Studio Park facilities to the south east of Bangkok. Together, first and second units involved some 450 people. Filming was able to continue through April and early May, despite a third wave resurgence of the coronavirus in Thailand that caused city and provincial governors to impose severe new restrictions and a near curfew in the evenings. The measures, in effect from April 19, 2021, have closed schools, restaurants, gyms, sports facilities and cinemas. They also specified that film and TV productions should be halted. It is understood that “Ms. Marvel” was able to obtain a waiver and continue filming as it was already observing strict anti-virus protocols. Measures included closed sets, mandatory masks and face shields on set, virus testing twice per week, rigidly-separated transport, and controlled air systems. The workflow in Thailand was also divided into three separate bubbles so that if an infection was found in one bubble, the entire show would not have to shut down, and production could continue at the remaining two.

Adult Swim Has Three Movies In The Works For ‘Aqua Teen Hunger Force’, ‘The Venture Bros.’ & ‘Metalocalypse’ Rather than send the movies straight to Adult Swim’s sister HBO Max immediately, the pics will get a release worldwide on Blu-ray/DVD and PVOD and electronic-sell-through (EST) with a 90-day exclusive window before hitting the streaming service and Adult Swim. In the The Venture Bros. movie, Doc’s latest invention will either bankrupt the Ventures or launch them to new heights, as Hank searches for himself, Dean searches for Hank, The Monarch searches for answers, and a mysterious woman from their pasts threatens to bring their entire world crashing down on them. The Venture Bros. is created, written and executive produced by Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer. The Venture Bros. premiered originally as a pilot in 2003, with the first season airing in August 2004. The series aired 7 seasons and 4 specials over its near 15 year-run and was one of Adult Swim’s longest running series alongside Robot Chicken and Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

This is HBO and HBO is known for their nudity (a major draw for Game of Thrones), the first three episodes was just random extras, now they are showing the main characters. First Maladie, then Amalia, and I am guessing Penance will be next, unless Bonfire Annie is willing to steam it up with Jack Be Nimble, Jack Be Quick.

Jenny says that she can handle JW, then 5 seconds later John Wayne knocks her out with one punch. Why was it that John Wayne looks much worst than Jenny did after the fight was over. How did he get that gash on his face. On the next Big Sky, see Margaret Kleinsasser as Lady Macbeth "Out, damned spot! Out, I say!" "On drugs, No!, This is the withdrawal talking now." "Cheyenne, get thee to a nunnery!" Cassie just stands there for 20 seconds while the truck is headed towards her. Good thing she is built stronger than a motel or she might be dead now. Boy is this show bad.

I am surprised that people can hate Chloe so much when I thought that the character definition in the show was abysmal. I have no idea who these people are or what they can or can not do. There was no explanation of their powers, their daily life, their area range of superhero activity, structure of the Union, what crises they are concerned with, why anybody would want to join (is it a paid gig), who are members and if there are alternatives. I thought it was weird that wheelchair guy would use that mode of conveyance when he can "probably" still be able to fly. I think they chose a wheelchair to hammer home that he was injured/paralyzed. Especially since in this day and age of computers and robotics, wheelchair guy would probably be able to use his light for fiber optic highest speed data transmission and his thirst for knowledge and knowledge of machines should have made him one of the most powerful/useful if not one of the most interesting of superheroes.

When Scarlet gets an alarming call that her sister is missing, Ronald realizes just how twisted his situation has become and must decide his next move. Meanwhile, Cassie, Jenny, Gil and Rosie find themselves in a whole mess of trouble on the ranch, forced to face off against the worst of the Kleinsasser bunch. But this team is tough and even the strongest family trees can fall on “Big Sky”. Original Airdate: May 11 Tuesdays at 10pm ET ABC

Heard Kirkman on a podcast stipulate that for the series, she can't manipulate LIVING organic material(you appear to be a comic reader,so you know why). Thus, she could turn a handful of leaves into coffee. Rewatching the creation of the treehouse , she doesn't actually use or alter the tree to build it, she builds around it, basically turning air/oxygen molecules into pieces of (dead)wood or whatever other materials she uses in its construction. But the living tree remains under it unchanged. So Atom Eve can turn the empty space (air) in Omni Man's esophagus to steel, that might distract him long enough for Invincible to give him a beat down.

Yes, this episode made me feel like I missed an episode. There were a lot of things in this episode that were not clarified in the previous episodes. Augie was an integral part of Amaila's plan, his birds were to provide noise and keep people away, so he couldn't go with Penance even if he wanted to. I thought the skin around Maladie's mouth was covered with sores. Were we supposed to know who the girl with the missing toes is, I haven't a clue.

I believe that the good doctor was part of Martin's original escape plan and everything went according to his plan. Even the part about the doctor getting fired. Everybody just assumed all three inmates were in the ambulance when it left the facility and they didn't search the grounds.

I find that this world doesn't seem to make sense. There doesn't appear to be any super heroes before whatever happens in the 1930's. Now the superheroes have long lives living over a 100 years and their children are also superheroes. Many of the new super heroes are the children of the first super heroes, why are they all around the same age? Why did all the super heroes wait till 20 to 30 years ago to start having kids? There are "tons" of new super heroes and super villains are they all related to the original super heroes? Maybe there are answers in the remaining episodes.

Break me off a piece of that Shit Shat Bar. -
I imagine that everybody in the cellar also had visions and were down there comparing notes. They drew pictures of what they saw and wrote down the coordinates to the mysterious island. I don't understand how anyone would be able to find the farm based on the drawing of the windmill. It must be that people just instinctively walk until they stumble across the farm. Kids these days, any pill they see they take it, anything in powder form, they snort up their nose.

By that same logic, since Utopian is stronger than Paragon, Utopian should have knocked Blackstar out with one punch long before they called in the B-Squad and heroes started getting killed.
-
I didn't realize that fake Blackstar killed 3 of the heroes and that still doesn't merit the use of lethal force.
-
I can't believe all of those heroes were holding back so that they wouldn't kill Blackstar, even after Blackstar killed one of their own. There code is a piece of garbage. Why didn't they just rip him out of his armor.
