Only Speculation Without Spoilers In the Thread
AnimeMania replied to shapeshifter's topic in Only Murders In The Building
Just throwing this out there, maybe Zoe was killed (by accident) by a girl with a Whale Tattoo on her back (probably drawn on with a marker). Tim didn't see the face, just the tattoo and assumes that it was Mabel. It could have been Lucy (probably not) or her friend (more likely, Charles' neighbor's daughter) who she chats with. Tim thinks it is Mabel who killed Zoe and tells Oscar what he saw and Oscar decides to take the fall. Oscar may have told his father the truth which is why the father hates Mabel. -
I liked that even the two woman copping a feel of her breasts made sense since she had hers removed and the other lady knew that had happened as well and was showing her support. The third lady declined to feel them because she did not know about the breast cancer.

I thought Oscar was making eyes at Mabel in the flash back. Since Mabel is not rich, Oscar might feel he has more in common with her. Not sure if Oscar is gay since he said he wanted to have ice cream with a girl on the beach, then went and got some ice cream for Mabel. -
I thought for sure Ella was going to say that one of the dead bodies was somebody that see photographed at a crime scene.

Orvillian Media: Wireless Telecommunications Facility
AnimeMania replied to shapeshifter's topic in The Orville
Norm Macdonald Completed Production on The Orville Season 3 -
I predicted that after they established the murder mystery part of the story, they would pivot to the comedy portion of the story. This is Martin and Short we are talking about, who did a comedy tour together, I wouldn't be surprised if a majority of their dialogue is improvisation, trying to make the other one laugh. I was expecting a few episodes where the two male characters would be bumbling along misinterpreting the clues, so this episode didn't seem unexpected to me at all. I will go so far as to predict that the 3 leads never actually figure out who the murderer is, but instead the murderer will reveal themselves to them in an attempt to stop them from continuing to investigate/stop the podcast.

Old Fantasies: Comparisons to the original show
AnimeMania replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Fantasy Island (2021)
I think Miss Elena Roarke knows that something is going to happen and the client will be satisfied, but never what it will be. Elena probably sits in her office all day watching the fantasies play out. You know Elena was probably there sitting on that stool (invisible) while those 2 ladies were making out. -
They were kissing cousins 😁, I think she eventually told her she was from the future, before any actual boinking started. I was waiting for the end of the episode to see if they used the ending where they say that Rachel was a Renaissance cosplayer portraying her favorite author and Isabel finds out as they are boarding the plane.

S01.E06: What If... Killmonger Rescued Tony Stark?
AnimeMania replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in What If...?
A very complex and intricately woven story, even if not very realistic. -
Woman disappears during her vacation to the Islands! She was pretty bold to kiss another person's wife the second you meet them. Isabel seemed like she had never heard of their publisher Mr. Walsh, but later she knew everything about him, what did she do, sneak back to the present and GOOGLE him? The episodes don't seen to have a lot of depth to them, they could use a little Oomph! to make them more compelling.

They already had another murder that happened at the same time the one they are investigating happened. -
I wonder what happened to women who are about to give birth to boys? Is this a one and done where males have no problem surviving after the event or will whatever is killing males continue to kill them. Why didn't it happen all at once, it seems like there were a few animals that died days earlier till it reached a tipping point where all the males died. I don't think Yorick would leave without that stupid monkey, just like Yorick won't look at another woman if it isn't that stupid Beth, even though he can have any woman of the planet. Supposedly the entire area will be underwater in a few hours, that is convenient plot point.

Roy Wood Jr. and Brain Freeze in the same episode! A great episode for comedy, not so much for moving the plot along. I thought the Hardy Boys was stealing stuff out of people's apartments, but it seems like they are saying the jewelry wasn't from what they took. I wonder if it is worth a lot? When has a Black Market Jewelry Fence not been sketchy?
