  2. Ashleigh Murray To Star In ‘Tom Swift’, Joining Tian Richards In the CW’s ‘Nancy Drew’ Spinoff Not really relevant, but the Nancy Drew spinoff, Tom Swift, has added Ashleigh Murray (Josie McCoy from Riverdale and Katy Keene). Ashleigh Murray will play Zenzi Fullerton, efficient and effervescent, but nobody’s fool. She’s been Tom’s best friend since childhood and considers him family – and she’s one of the few people who can keep up with Tom and read him for "filth" (I have no idea what that means) when necessary. Co-created by Melinda Hsu Taylor, Noga Landau and Cameron Johnson, Tom Swift follows the serialized adventures of its titular gay, billionaire inventor (Tian Richards) who is thrust into a world of sci-fi conspiracy and unexplained phenomena after the shocking disappearance of his father. Tom takes to the road on a quest to unravel the truth, leaving behind the comforts of his usual moneyed lifestyle, all while fighting to stay one step ahead of an Illuminati-scale group hell-bent on stopping him. Tom’s missions will require his genius and flair for innovation guided by love, romance, friendship and the mysteries of the universe yet-unsolved.

    Nobody (2021)

As an auditor he knows well that living beyond one's visible means is a sure-fire way to attract unwanted attention. For a time, he was that attention. So I think he was just being careful there. Having a car is typically obtainable for anyone who has a job. His marriage might have improved if he offered to drive the kids to school and could get home faster so that he could spend more time at home with the kids. Interacting with other people, especially those that ride the bus tends to send you into a violent rage (especially since they are mostly school children).

    Nobody (2021)

This movie was so full of cliches that they didn't even bother to give explanations of why anybody did anything. Why did nobody and his wife have martial problems, who knows and who cares. Why did nobody have millions of dollars stashed away, but he rode the bus. Anybody who has regularly ridden a bus knows that you can not continually get off and on a bus in the middle of the night. The amount of time you would spend waiting for the next bus, no way could this be used to search for tattoo parlors. Why would somebody who has millions of dollars to protect, protect it by throwing it in a big pile in the middle of the floor of some building. This movie way just somebody thinking of creative and flashy ways to kill people, zero thought went into the plot.
  8. A person gets killed by an animal attack in the school and they don't even shut the school down, not for a day, not even for 5 minutes to clear away the dead body. Two more people go missing, at the very least, get the school fumigated. The principal takes away a school kid's oboe even though there is nothing on the oboe or the case that says "Property of Pine Academy", why would he think it was stolen.
  9. From is a 10 episode contemporary sci-fi horror TV series airing February 20 on Epix. Filmed in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. From reveals the mystery of a nightmarish town in middle America that traps all those who enter. As the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest – including the terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down. Catalina Sandino Moreno plays Tabitha Matthews. Eion Bailey plays Jim Matthews, the husband of Tabitha Matthews. They are struggling in the aftermath of a personal tragedy and suddenly find that their family is trapped in the town. Together they must find a way to keep their children safe, struggling to come to terms with this new reality even as they desperately search for a way back home. Hannah Cheramy plays Julie, the daughter of Jim and Tabitha Matthews. She’s in the throes of adolescence, still reeling from a family tragedy and now stuck in this terrifying new town – though, unexpectedly, her arrival here may be the best thing that’s ever happened to her. Simon Webster plays Ethan, the younger brother of Julie Matthews, and the son of Jim and Tabitha Matthews. Ethan is routinely taunted by his big sister, who takes his gentle spirit for weakness. After a car crash leaves his family stuck in town, a gravely injured Ethan begins to feel changed by his surroundings. Harold Perrineau plays Boyd Stevens, the sheriff whose Draconian rules have held the fragile town together, even as he searches for a way to escape this seemingly inescapable nightmare. Corteon Moore plays Ellis Stevens, the estranged son of Sheriff Boyd and a resident of Colony House. He is a handsome young philosopher with the soul of an artist and a deep well of unresolved trauma and rage. Only time will tell if the broken relationship between Ellis and his father Boyd Stevens can ever be healed. Ricky He plays Kenny, Sheriff Boyd Stevens' deputy, a first-generation immigrant trapped in this town with his parents. With his dad suffering from dementia and Kenny routinely getting called upon to help Boyd deal with some fresh catastrophe, Kenny is doing his best to rise to the occasion. Elizabeth Moy plays Tain-Chen. She is Kenny’s mother and operates the town diner and supply depot. Her gentle but firm spirit may be necessary to keep the peace as unexpected events cause the residents of this nightmare town to start to fraction. Shaun Majumder plays Father Khatri, who cares for the spirits of the townsfolk. He’s strong, compassionate, and believes there are more important matters than just surviving this town — people must remember what they are surviving for. There is also more to Father Khatri than first meets the eye. Avery Konrad plays Sara, a true wildcard among the town’s residents: some think her mind was simply fractured by the nightmare of the town; others wonder if, in her madness, Sara is closer to the secrets of this place than anyone else. Chloe Van Landschoot plays Kristi, who was trapped in town during her 3rd year of med school and has assumed the role of town medic. She’s frequently called upon to handle problems that would rattle the nerves of the most veteran doctor. Pegah Ghafoori plays Fatima, a resident of Colony House and an Iranian immigrant to the US. Even here in this town she focuses on the good, like the fact that she never would have met Ellis, the love of her life, if not for this terrible place. David Alpay plays Jade, a brash, entitled tech hot shot, who just sold his company for hundreds of millions of dollars. What was meant to be an extravagant weekend celebration for Jade instead turns to horror when he finds himself trapped in a nightmarish town with seemingly no way out. Elizabeth Saunders plays Donna, the earthy, strong leader of Colony House - the town’s separatist faction. She is at once a caring, nurturing den mother to all of those at Colony House, and an unyielding, unforgiving force of nature that stands between Colony House and any who would threaten their way of life.”

The show is not is not completely animated, there are some scenes that are a mix of animated foregrounds with live-action (miniature 3D sets) backgrounds, an ancient animation technique known as stereoscopic animation. They were created by real-life brothers, Chad and Jared Moldenhauer. They live in Inkwell Isles, and will roam to different parts of this surreal Island landscape, in search of fun and adventure. 12. Star Wars: Mark Hamill Didn't Record Luke Skywalker's Dialogue for The Book of Boba Fett The De-aged Luke was not acted or voiced by Mark Hamill. They used actor Graham Hamilton for the motion captured deep fake and a program called Lola to simulate the voice. For the voice they used a neural network where you feed information into and it learns. They used archival material from Mark Hamill in that era. They had clean recorded ADR from the original films, a book on tape he'd done from those eras, and then also Star Wars radio plays he had done during that time. They were able to get clean recordings of those, feed them into the system, and slice it up, and feed it into their neural network to learn this data. (Unfortunately they were not able to fool anyone, the performance was robotic.)
  13. Maybe Grogu is like a Jedi Library, they showed Grogu everything about the Jedi and anyone with a Vulcan Mind Meld can access the information, then the Jedis locked Grogu's mind and hid him away, so that the information could only be unlocked by another Jedi when the threat had passed.
  14. You never know, we saw Boba Fett when he wasn't completely healed, maybe he had a traumatic brain injury (that would explain a lot), and now he is firing on all cylinders and is now a total badass!
