  1. Yep. I may have a similar issue to Erin and Carlin. My mom had it. I did get my genetic profile read and it is present. They won't know 100% until I attempt to get pregnant. The doctors have said they will likely do a wait and see approach. Carlin is due in February 2020. She legit got pregnant on the first try. Edit: @Sew Sumi, you can get your raw DNA if you do 23&Me, Ancestry, etc. and then get a geneticist to interpret the results. That's what I did. I suspect all the Bateses girls have done the same since Erin's repeated miscarriages.
  2. I felt sorry for Corey. Poor dude can't catch a break. Here's to hoping he breaks it off in the US. Jenny and Sumit... He's married or has a bride waiting for him. FFS that shit isn't hard to find. I found an ex-friend's boyfriend on several Indian "looking for marriage" websites with about 3 identifying details. That stuff is so widely broadcast that you must not know how to Google. Or this storyline is producer driven. I secretly hope Jihoon and Deaven make it. Jihoon is a man child but he actually seems thrilled at the prospect of having a family. Jihoon's parents really need to realize they enabled him too. Once Deaven was pregnant it should have been game over, time to grow up. Jihoon's pupper needs their own talking head time. Kick Tiffany and Ronald off my screen. Bring in Jihoon's dog!
  3. Wasn't Sam the only one whose name we knew before the birth? The "gossip" lines up with the timing of the gender reveal and the like plus Jessa's cryptic talk on IG.
  4. The daughters working/getting degrees seems like it was more out of necessity at first since you couldn't expect Lawson and his lawn business to pay for the entire family. There also seemed to be aspects of favoritism at play with Erin though and it would have looked terrible (once they got the TeeVee show) if Erin was the only daughter to pursue a post secondary education if the younger ones wanted to as well. That being said Carlin was different and got a long engagement. The rest? Ehhh... Although for all we know that could be optics to be like "See! We don't force our kids to rush into marriage! They choose to do so!" I've thought about this quite a bit how much is manipulated for the public in regards to the Duggars and Bateses. How much have they actually changed? How much is actually to play up to the public they have changed so that people will continue to follow the Brand? I don't think the Bateses have too much to worry with Bringing Up Bates being on UP! The Duggars and TLC may be a different story. How many iterations does TLC have of 90 Day Fiance??? I'm currently staying with family and I've gotten sucked into that vortex.
  5. Someone here pointed out that Annabell's approximate due date in November lined up with the trip Austin and Joy took around Giddy's 1st birthday. Yep. Yikes.
  6. Amy is in early October. Then Kendra is due first week of November. Lauren is due November 16th or thereabouts. Anna is the last one due in November. Abbie is due in January.
  7. Kelly probably will push hard anyway. Gotta get them married off before they know their own mind and all that. Trace/Chaney might distract Kelly from wanting to plan another wedding though. As an aside my autocorrect wanted to call her "Cheney". Very unfortunate.
  8. The boys have been throwing pretzels at Derick in the car while he's been driving. I'm surprised they were allowed in the office after that.
  9. Should have asked for sunscreen as a "love offering". Otherwise I'm sure that God will protect them from sun cancer.
  10. Oh goodness. Josiah is Tobias from Arrested Development. I can see him being a never nude and a member of the Blue Man Group once he hits his laundry room breakdown.
  11. And his mom is only 36! I just discovered this train wreck. I mean, the Duggars have done a great job of making me put off pregnancy for a bit. Watching the parents and grandparents of these girls, I would be losing my mind if I were in their shoes. It is quite obvious the majority of it is generational. Their parents had babies at that age, so they don't see anything wrong with getting pregnant either.
  12. Jilly Muffin learned from the best of the best. Anyone remember Jason falling into the orchestra pit and Meech's immediate reaction to film it?
  13. The Duggars have only ever seen Razzie worthy movies, not Oscar worthy movies. I'm not sure Anna and co would know what a well directed, well written, or well acted film would look like.
  14. I will be very surprised if one doesn't use a variant of Mary for TeeVee purposes. It's pretty obvious Meredith was selected for Meredith Viera but ya know. The Smuggars got put in the time out corner shortly before Meredith's birth. It all depends on who wants the TeeVee time the most though.
  15. I suspect we're going to see several different variants of Mary. Mary, Marianna, Miriam, Mia...
  16. Jessa was due June 6th with Ivy. She would have conceived around September 10th. Meech's birthday is September 13th. So they were pregnant at the same time but not due at the same time. They were likely due 4-6 weeks apart. Unless I'm missing something and Meech's birthday is a month later. Then that would make more sense for them to be due around the same time. I'm still going with the simple explanation that the Duggars can't math.
  17. Bin was a means to an end. I hate being pedantic but if the extended Seewald family hadn't been swinging from the rooftops that their son was involved with THE JESSA DUGGAR!!!! Jim Bob would have quietly ended it. Once the news leaked, the Duggars had no choice but to keep trucking along. Then Ben and Jessa ended up being the ratings goldmine (probably to everyone's chagrin considering how they were acting on social media at the time). I often wonder if that's why Jessa hasn't strayed far from the family line, because she was the Duggar "It" girl for a while. It pains me to say this but if worst came to worst, Dullard and JereME have kept their families small (so far) and have qualifications if they ever needed to get real people jobs. In Jeremy's case it would require a cut back on the luxuries but hey. The Seewalds are tied to the Duggar money, whatever scraps they can get from JB.
  18. Yes. She said it was lemon when Julianne's candy was orange. I don't know why I'm overly invested in this. Except I'm mad I didn't get a chance at the dessert table.
  19. Lauren would have been due long before Jessa. They claim that they were due at the same time but it's impossible if Josiah and Lauren announced at Michelle's birthday party on September 13th per some of the interviews. I supposed we will find out in late September/early October when they make a memorial post about Asa but they've been pretty cagey on the dates. Or there is the simplest explanation of them all. They are Duggars and they don't know how to math.
  20. The Tequila Guy wasn't available, clearly. It just made me realize what most of the acts reminded me of. Who watched the early seasons of SYTTD and the horrible dancer Sex who auditioned every time? It was awful. It was supposed to be awful ha ha funny like the She Bangs guy from American Idol but never was. That's what I was reminded of with most of the acts last night.
  21. He was just a kid at the time. It's hard to say what his aspirations truly were. He was doing those cringe-worthy interviews for a while too. I'm doubtful he's even had the opportunity to think about it because whatever he pursues would probably interfere with the TeeVee show. His parents really failed him here. The Seewalds knew what the Duggars stood for and how they viewed courtships. They sacrificed him and his future to the altar of D-list TV fame. They didn't benefit from it whatsoever except they had one less mouth to feed.
  22. Normally I take AGT with a grain of salt. It's meant to be campy and the show became a parody of itself several seasons ago (and subtly acknowledges it). It wasn't even funny ha ha awful. This was downright dreadful. What were the producers thinking? This is why I only caught a few episodes of The World's Best. They have freaking Terry Crews! Stop wasting Terry!
  23. The violin kid, Terry Crews, and the dessert table from the Sentimentalists act can go through to the next round. This is one of the weakest episodes of AGT I've seen and that's saying something.
