  1. I loved it! I'm almost always disappointed in finales, but this one was fantastic. The group was still together and they didn't do any stupid twists or nose thumbing to the audience. I'm glad Sheldon won the Nobel. He's talked about it for 12 years so it wouldn't have been right to end it without him winning, plus he's my favorite character because he's the funniest. Penny's pregnancy was a cute callback to the first episode. The show sort of limped to the end; but all in all, it was a nice way to end it. Stuff changes, but stuff stays the same too and the final shot was perfect.
  2. I agree. The first few episodes were pretty funny, but then they seemed like they didn't know what to write for these characters. Maybe the writing staff was too young for this kind of show. The finale was pretty funny though, maybe the best episode of the series.
  3. Rant: Those morning suits with cravat were hideous. Did the wedding seem like something Eddie would want? It was so formal, it almost looked like a royal wedding. Why were they married by the archbishop? Why not their parish priest? How can they keep their marriage a secret with a wedding like that? How long has Eddie's partner known about them? This whole story pissed me off. If they were going to go there with Jamie and Eddie why not do it somewhat realistically? And why did they use the term "Jamko" on the show? I never thought this was a fan service kind of show. Ugh...just ugh..
  4. Good question! None of the couples on the show are "romantic." Maybe Jane-Austen-Little -House-on-the-Prairie-lovin' Amy should have ended up with rom-com-lovin Raj! In reality, none of the wives are interested in the things their husbands are in to. For years, Sheldon made fun of Amy's field of science! Amy seems fine with physics, but she's not interested in any of Sheldon's other interests. Penny and Leonard have NOTHING in common and Howard and Bernadette only have a vague shared interest in science that they never discuss.
  5. Festus calls Matt's horse Buck in the season 10 episode "Deputy Festus", too. It's brief, but he says it when he's tying Ruth to the rail in front of the Marshall's office. I saw this episode last week.
  6. It's all of that, but I have never understood why they didn't get an actress who was more believeable as Steve's sister. Her scene in the pilot was cut so they could have re-cast after the show got the green light.
  7. It sounds like a Perry Mason episode, but I can't tell you which one. The log book record written in pencil sounds very familar to me and I haven't seen much of the other shows you've listed. Plus, most of Perry's cases were in L.A.
  8. What kind of degree did Nicky get? What's she going to be doing at this Justice Coalition thing?
  9. It's nice to see Gunsmoke get a thread here because it's still an excellent show. I've watched it on and off since it was on TVLand in the late 90s. I'll get tired of it and quit watching for a while, but then I'll come across it and get sucked back in and I still haven't seen all 635 episodes! It's still a quality show in the color years. Some of the best episodes include "The Bullet" (a 3 parter), "9:12 to Dodge" (first ep I ever saw), "Matt's Love Story" (with Micheal Learned), "The Jailer" (with Bette Davis), "Hostage!" and "The Disciple". The color seasons also gave us Buck Taylor as Newly O'Brien (Matt's best occasional deputy) and the all time funniest episode in season 18 "A Quiet A Day in Dodge."
  10. I came here to ask if anybody else thinks she's dumb as a box of rocks? I guess I'm not alone.
  11. I despise everything about the Mattie story line. It was so freaking stupid. I'm still pissed about a lot of things that happened on the show in those last two seasons. I watched this show religiously for 10 years; but If a revival happens, I hope they retcon some of the stupid crap that happened at the end.
  12. I hope so. Steve has always said he was a cat lover, so the fact that they got him a dog bugged me since the introduction Eddie.
  13. Completely agree. So out of character for Danny.
  14. Who's godawful version of Watchtower was that?
  15. I was thinking the same thing. The uniforms looked so sloppy and the guy playing Abraham was not believalbe at all. He's got no prescence. I also thought the story was weird and illogical. I still don't know how Hewitt being in the background of the video proved anything.
  16. Jamie freaking out over the softball team was so out of character, but everything they're writing for Jamie this season is completely off the wall. Real Jamie would be pissed if a sergeant was secretly engaged to of his patrol officers. It's like invasion of the body snatchers.
  17. Really good episode, best since #200. I was also confused by Danny's comment about the ambulance, but still a really good ep. The show can still bring it when it tries to tell a decent story and isn't just working around the actors' availability.
  18. I don't watch NCIS: LA, but if Rabb's gonna show up I may have to watch these episodes. The article says he's Captain Harmon Rabb. JAG ended 15 years ago, if he's still in the Navy wouldn't he be a Rear Admiral by now?
  19. Season 7 premiere set for May 23rd. https://deadline.com/2019/03/elementary-premiere-date-instinct-blood-and-treasure-cbs-summer-1202582851/
  20. Last night's episode was so stupid and gross. Why do they write Margaret to be a skank and Hank to be an asshole? Vicki and David are naturally funny, why can't their characters be written more likeable?
  21. Me too. They wasted Joan Collins just to tell us for the thousandth time how awesome Danny is. I'm not a Danny hater, but I don't see anything "awesome" about him either.
  22. Tom Selleck has already confirmed that there will be a wedding this season. That will probably be in the season finale. I'm hoping they come to their senses about working at the same precinct.
