  1. Greatest episode of the whole series (sure, I haven't seen every one, but out of those that I have). Intense and surprising, yeah I didn't see the twist with Ivy and Winter coming. I'm loving this season, with it being more of a psychological horror/thriller and not the typical AHS shit. So now I'm wondering, are the clowns part of Kai's cult? Or are they separate and Kai hasn't even started yet his plans? Where does Ivy and Winter fit in?
  2. Yeah, the episode was mostly frustrating and repetitive. The jokes about phone calls were fun for a couple of minutes, but too much is always too much. However, I liked the Merc-Morning-Carol scene. Very well done. But is this really all they can think of for Mircea? I don't know why they had to make that stupid joke at the end. The scene was powerful, but it's like they realized some point that they're supposed to make comedy. The episode certainly felt like a turning point, like they're about to kick the final storyline going.
  3. This show is so well made, but why the hell does it feel so stale? I've started to lose interest and I don't even know why.
  4. Now while I am glad, that Ghostface is coming back, I can't help but wonder if Roger Jackson is returning. Now the mask is iconic, sure, but without the right voice, it's not the same thing. I would like more to have the tv-series mask than the film mask with someone else voicing. Keke Palmer was a nice surprise. If anyone from Scream Queens has to jump to Scream, it definitely should be her.
  5. I like how this season isn't as heavy handed as the previous ones. It has some levity and just the right amount of actual comedy. I was glad to see Laura Allen, she's such a powerful actress as seen in The 4400 and Dirt, just to name a few. But I also was sad, since it was obvious she would be there just to get killed in the opening. So the therapist is obviously in on, as probably is the cop too it. But I've started to doubt that Ivy isn't. How long was the guinea pig in the microwave? Did the clowns wait till Ivy and Ally walked in, then turned the microwave on and ran away? My biggest problem with this episode was, that at some point it was getting repetitive and lazy. "Oh, we're here and look what's happening there. Oh now we're looking at that, but how about this thing happening right here? Oh and what's that?"
  6. Mornings age hasn't been established, but she did play William Shatner's wife on a tv-show back in the 70's. James Purefoy was playing her little brother back in season 2, and he's born 1964. The boar was definitely animatronic. And it looked great.
  7. And of course it would star Sharon Stone. Great episode. It's rare for a show/movie to make me flinch, but my god did I almost gag when Carol put the pregnancy test in her mouth.
  8. I watched First day of camp before I saw the film. Weirdly enough, I didn't like the movie at all, but I really enjoyed the series. So I had somewhat high expectations for this and for the most part it didn't disappoint me. The finale was weak, Paul Rudd didn't have enough screentime and Adam Scott, even though I like him, didn't fit in. Other than that, the show provided me big laughs and surprisingly emotional, dramatic moments too. I didn't expect that.
  9. Oh how I cheered when I saw Leslie Grossmans name in the credits. But I couldn't take her seriously when all I saw was Mary Cherry. I'm really digging this season. It's not as trashy or desperate for shock value as most of the previous ones. I'm fairly invested on the story and the characters. I loved Billie Lourde on Scream Queens but here her slow and smooth way of talking and moving is way more effective and unsettling. The neighbors though were way too on the nose creepy. At least cover the blood stain with a carpet, if you want to seem normal. Would people really still go to that restaurant a week after the murder? YES! Titus is so underrated and sadly forgotten by now.
  10. I'm afraid Bev and Sean departing Opposite of us isn't going to go that smooth. There's some big troubles coming up for them. As I said, I love Mircea Monroe. But the relationship with Merc seems too forced. If there's not a natural way to bring her back, she shouldn't come back.. Merc could've had completely new character as her girlfriend and it wouldn't make a difference for the plot. I don't think Morning and Carol have ever shared a scene, so there's no "you cheat me with my friend?" thing going on. But I gotta say, Kathleen Rose Perkins just gets more and more beautiful. She was drop dead gorgeous when she and Merc were sitting on the floor.
  11. Yeah, but I meant that that particular scene most likely wasn't real. I don't think Twisty has a role in this season.
  12. I don't know why I keep coming back every year when the show premieres. Murder house is the only one, that I watched all the way through, but didn't find it that good. The later seasons I've watched few episodes before dropping out, Hotel being an exception, I stopped it halfway through the pilot. It seemed to got to the point, where the show is only for shock value. But I guess I want to give Ryan Murphy chances, since Popular was/is so damn good. But I think this season could be the most promising one yet. I was actually invested on the story. Sure, there were some things that I don't agree with, but most of it was pretty good and I will be watching next episode. I see people talking about that Twisty scene. I was sure it was just a "clip" from the comic book.
  13. Damn it. I almost wrote Brady, but someone else above me said Barry, so I thought I had misheard / remembered it wrong. Wouldn't be the first time.
  14. I haven't read the book, but I remember when it came out and heard some mixed reviews. I just found out this week that it has already been adapted and binged the first four episodes. When I saw Jack Bender being involved in Mr. Mercedes, I didn't get my hopes high. After all, he was involved in Under The Dome. I really liked the show, but not for the reasons we were supposed to. So, I didn't expect Mr. Mercedes to be anything that could be taken seriously. And boy was I wrong. The acting is pretty darn good and the story runs naturally. I wasn't sure Barry actually is Mr. Mercedes, since we didn't see his face in the first scene, maybe he's just some nutjob taking the credit. His little brother was born 1990, died 1994. They seemed to have few years of age difference. Mercedes killing happened 2009 and the show takes place two years after. So yeah, it makes sense.
  15. That's my main problem with the show (well that and terrible characters). Sometimes the mist is meant to be savage, complete monster that kills you in seconds. But mostly you can run around in it and nothing happens. And I love the ending of the film. It's not just for shock value, but it actually made sense after what happened before. I've never read the short story, but I've heard it's more of an open ending.
  16. Although seasons 5-7 are bad, bad, bad, there was one of my all time favorite scenes (can't remember specifically which season, but I know it's one of those): *Kelso leans to Jack* "Hey, ya sport." "Your skin is wrinkly." "Yeah? Well that shirt you're wearing is gay." *Leaves with a proud smirk*
  17. Oh no, I didn't mean it's shorter. Just that this show always has short seasons. Oh right, thanks. Either I forgot about that or it flew over my head. But that explains it.
  18. This was certainly better than last episode, but it felt like a filler. The episode started with a scandal that could ruin Matt's career, but 30 minutes later when the episode was coming to end, everything was better than ever. For season this short, I would prefer fewer but bigger storylines, not this story-per-episode style. But who knows, maybe this is important for the bigger picture, but as of now it didn't feel it had any reason to happen.
  19. Elliot ordered six more episodes at the end of season 3. They shot them and then it was over. As a storyline it just faded away, we didn't see them wrapping the shoots, like we did in season 3 before the new order.
  20. I've stopped watching after episode four but I've kept track with recaps. I watched the finale, in case it has an ending. But of course not. And the same boring, stupid shit was still going on. If there's gonna be a second season, that would be the biggest twist this show has offered.
  21. I don't know if I'm surprised or not, but as of my standpoint, I can't understand that they cancelled Girlboss but not this one. Why doesn't any network / streaming service listen to me before their decisions?
  22. I started to rewatch the series last saturday and I finished it yesterday. I immediately jumped to the premiere. When done that way, this episode sure seemed bit slow and boring, but it wasn't bad, I laughed my fair share. I do hate Tim, but not in good way. Like I hate Merc, but he's entertaining and interesting. Tim is just annoying. I hope he's fired from Opposite of us very fast, so we don't have to watch him all 9 episodes. I've been fan of Mircea for like a decade or so, and it kills me how her role has been smaller every season. And it still seems to be that way, I know she's going to return, but what purpose would she have? Can anyone tell me when is this taking place? I automatically think a show starts the year it premieres, if not told otherwise, so I thought season 1 was 2011. And even in fourth season, they're making remarks about how Bev and Sean have been there for a year. But they're making references to Frozen and Fifty shades of black, so it can't be 2011/2012. Or is it just taking place unspecified time?
  23. I watched about 7 minutes of this episode and I just realized that I still don't give a shit about anything that happens in this show. We're halfway through, so the setup should be done and we're supposed to care about the characters and fear for their lives. But nothing. There isn't even that dumb factor Under the dome had, which made me laugh for the show for three seasons. I'm done. No more Mist for me.
  24. I don't know if this was supposed to be more of a comedy or a drama, but I didn't find it funny or touching. I laughed when McKinnon was on screen and Chris Elliott is always great. I don't have a problem with characters being awful people, if it's done right. Like in That 70's show, where everyone were total jerks to each other all the time, but they still managed to be entertaining, funny and I cared about those characters. I had nothing when watching Friends from college. Keegan especially was frustrating and annoying as fuck. Sure, I've had quite dislike towards him ever since he first appeared on MADtv, but there have been some roles (like Keanu) where I thought he did a good job. In this, he was just devastating. Greg Germann and Billy Eichner were the only ones I could actually find something to root for. I'm sure they tried, but there just didn't seem to be any resemblance of a heart. Everything was shallow and too over the top to care.
  25. Well fuck. Sure, the show did get a somewhat of an ending, but I would've gladly watched more.
