  1. I love how the young man in the car title case got his revenge - way to go, kid.
  2. Hating the "other" has been around since there was an "other". I don't take the Bible literally but Cain slew his brother - the "other" - Abel.
  3. I don't think I've ever disliked a litigant more than the plaintiff in Tuesday's towing case - I will not watch any animal case so they don't count. Plaintiff couldn't be bothered to do what she was supposed to and sued. So GLAD she lost.
  4. I know I've seen most of the Project Runway programs and I am really enjoying this version and I also like the Project Runway Jr. more than any of the other versions of Rumway.
  5. I knew the actress playing the hoarder - and suffragette and ambulance driver - was familiar and finally remembered her playing the wife of a man who had just retired - either voluntarily or not - but could not remember the name of the series. I found the series name and, when I saw Annette Crosbie's name I remembered her from The Six Wives of Henry VIII.
  6. I don't know which designer made the dress with the silver foil but my first thought was Jiffy Pop and then I wondered if Jiffy Pop still exists - popcorn yum.
  7. If you are not a team player - DON'T TRY OUT FOR PROJECT RUNWAY.
  8. I knew the voice of Adam's teacher was familiar but I could not place it. Thanks for the info.
  9. It seems like a whole lot of landlords on the People's Court are just trying to make money and have no idea how to be a landlord. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the laws of landlording in any particular state are available on line.
  10. I'm not enjoying this as much as I used to but I do enjoy more the episodes based on real things - like the Russian cousin.
  11. I've seen every episode of This Is Us and my interest is beginning to wane. I hope Kate's baby being born - and being born healthy - is this season's last episode. Maybe my enthusiasm will be back by the time Fall rolls around.
  12. Sometimes when I hear Judge M talk about her kids I wonder if she and Mr. Judge M have done all that great a job raising them.
  13. I thought Lainey was teaching at her old school in Jenkintown. I know I haven't really been paying that much attention but the coach was in last week's episode.
  14. I only halfway listen when I have The People's Court on so I missed floor being used instead of parking lot. A floor is inside a building; a sidewalk, parking lot, and street are outside.
  15. Something I enjoy about this show is when there is something you are sure is fiction and, at the end, you find out it really happened - like Murray buying that car that fell apart the next day and then seeing the actual car.
  16. My local PBS station - Chapel Hill, NC - shows the Christmas special on Christmas night.
  17. James I's parents had the same grandmother- Henry VIII's elder sister Margaret - really narrowed the gene pool. Probably worse than Victoria and Albert being first cousins.
  18. If you get new furniture every time you move you don't need to hire movers - think of the savings.
  19. I was thinking it was a so-so episode with some good lines until the end. I was, as they say, gobsmacked.
  20. Another stupid thing is the"experts" rating the NBA and NFL drafts right after they happen. Some of those opinions can be really good for a laugh four years later. But now it's expected.
  21. I loved last night's episode. We've all seen the news cover a story even though there's nothing to report - usually an election or the weather. I live in an area that usually doesn't get much - and sometimes no - snow but all the weather and news people are on red alert because of the possibility of snow. There was absolutely no reason to broadcast for seven hours when there would be no actual vote totals until they were off the air..
  22. Jeff always has to be right - even when it's to his advantage to take a settlement. Has he ever completed a flip in his entire career?
  23. I can get a little tired of Bill and Jen and Will - not Zoe - but in a world of "Real Housewives" and 90-Day Fiances and the rest it's nice to see too people who are making as good a life as they can and love each other.
  24. My DVR is set up to record the new episodes. I will not watch dog episodes and I thought ep 2 looked very familiar. Evidently these cases are all very similar.
  25. The dad in Dirty Dancing was played by the late, great Jerry Ohrbach (sp?). He was in the original cast of The Fantasticks -played off Broadway for many years - and iwas Lenny Briscoe in Law & Order until he got too sick.
