  1. Well, I bet that Terry and Heather will have three kitchens!! And, of course, they're having a motor court, don't you know!! They'll be the only ones in Newport Beach with a motor court!! Maybe they'll have two secret rooms - one for the kids and one where Terry and Heather can practice one-upping everyone... Holy crap - the taxes on Shannon and David's house are over $80,000.00 a year!! YIKES!!!!
  2. I do like the shoes, though!! I don't know - I think Tamra's legs look okay (nothing great, but not completely horrible, either). I do appreciate it that she seems to have definitely toned down the spray tan and shiny body lotion...I remember other times when she was soooo fake-baked it was distracting.
  3. I agree - I've been burned before with the "First Season Love" that turns into "Second Season Hate" with these shows, too!! :-)
  4. I agree with you about Vicki, except for the dress. I thought the color looked great, but the cut and neckline were not very flattering. I wonder if, during filming, the women do their own make up most of the time. I notice that when Vicki, especially, is somewhere where she's had her make up done professionally, she looks good/great, and when she's just filming for the show in every day situations, her makeup looks overdone and unattractive. I don't think that Vicki is very adept at makeup application.
  5. A couple of thoughts on last night's reunion: I wonder if Eddie and Christian not being there was because they weren't invited? Could that be an indication as to which housewives will be invited back for next season, or was it just because neither of them really offered much in the way of drama that needed to be answered for? Does Brooks show up at all for Part Two, or had he and Vicki broken up before the taping? - I can't remember - is she still dating him or not? I also want to know if that one long Chanel logo necklace (the one Tamra is wearing) is actually "on loan" to the RHOC? I've seen Heather, Vicki and Tamra all wear the same necklace several times throughout the season. I really like that necklace, by the way, that's why I notice it all the time. I thought that aside from the dress, Vicki looked great. She seemed to have toned down the "raccoon eyes" look, and her face looked relaxed and refreshed. Her hairstyle was very complimentary. Aside from that, the rest of them looked just okay. I'm don't mind Heather's bangs as much as others because I think that hairstyle matches her personality...it is very severe, imo. I also think it makes her hair look thin, which I think it probably is, anyway. I think that, as others have said, David and Shannon nailed it, and they continued to make the Dubrows look like elitist snobs. Terry - what the heck is a "hollaback comment" from a construction worker? The more Terry tried to dig himself out of that hole, the deeper he went - he could have used a construction worker to help him figure out how to either dig a hole or fill one in.... And again, with the bull-riding comments - my question is this - Terry claims that "someone" or "a friend" told him the comment that David had made, and elaborated on it, but failed to mention the comment that Eddie made...my brain immediately went to Tamra!! If not Tamra, then maybe a production assistant?? I thought that Eddie's comment was just as inappropriate as David's, and just because you are "friends" does not excuse it. And, on that topic, I don't believe that Terry and Eddie are really friends....there is no freakin' way that those two couples socialize and spend time with each other when they are not filming. I can't ever see Terry and Eddie getting together to watch football and sharing beers and wings....or whatever!! Terry's reasoning for lashing out at the Beadors at Lizzie's party?? That was the lamest excuse ever!!! He is so full of shit!! If he was sooo pissed about the bull-riding comment at the time of Lizzie's party, WHY didn't he just address it then, instead of lashing out about the "taking down" comment? It just makes no sense at all!!! I wonder if they will address Heather telling the ride operator to turn up the speed while Tamra was on the bull? I do believe that Tamra told Shannon and whomever else that Terry said he wanted to "take the Beadors down"...I don't care how much she denies it. Tamra and Heather are trying sooo hard to back pedal on all their bad behavior, and unfortunately, they're back-pedaling on a bike with foot pedal brakes, and they're getting nowhere fast (foot pedal brakes don't allow the person to back-pedal, LOL!!!). Heather's so-called apologies are weak and insincere and that is why she can't/won't accept an apology from someone else. She always has to qualify her apologies with a "blaming the other person" attitude - kind of like, "Well, I apologize, BUT, the reason I did that is because you did this, so I'm still right in my action/belief"...... Lizzie...well, to me, she's kind of boring... My word of advice to Shannon, if she returns next season, would be to just stay the way she is. Don't try to amp up the drama, because it will swirl around her anyway. Right now, she is looking pretty good. She and David have turned the table and ostensibly, "taken down the Dubrows".....
  6. I've had bangs for a very long time....and yes, it is because I hate my forehead, and also, I have a few wrinkles and won't do botox because I don't want to look like I'm constantly being surprised....
  7. Exactly....I was reminded of a cheap variety store Halloween costume-y Cleopatra wig....
  8. Edited, because Muffyn just said the exact same thing upthread.
  9. That's because you are correct in your assumption. According to dictionary.com: pugilist [pyoo-juh-list] noun 1.a person who fights with the fists; a boxer, usually a professional. Related forms pugilistic, adjective pugilistically, adverb unpugilistic, adjective There are a whole slew of synonymous words to argumentative at thesaurus.com, as well, and NOT one of them is pugilistic. She could have used "contentious" or "disputatious" (that one would have made everyone think twice - oh, wait...Tamra would have had to think five or six times, and then, still wouldn't get it). So, pooh on Heather and Terry, with their holier-than-thou, I know lots of "big" words attitude!! I still love the little gem that Camille Grammar gave us - pernicious!!
  10. NO!! I actually rewatched the finale show last night, and it was actually more like "Balinisian"....when they were all watching the slide show/photos, she said something like "Just imagine Balinisian music as you're watching"....I guess Vicki figures just adding an "ian" at the end of any state/country is ok!! :-)
  11. Yeah, but if fake-baby "Astro" was any indication, she would give it back as soon as the baby started crying, or pooped or did something else that babies normally do....(and you can bet all the money in the world that Eddie wouldn't want that baby anywhere near him!!)
  12. That won't happen unless she becomes a "Real" Housewife.
  13. I thought that all of Heather's "apologies" came across as elitist, snobbish, sarcastic and sardonic (to throw back Terry's words at her)...and completely insincere. I also wonder if that is why she and Terry are unable to accept/recognize a sincere apology. Maybe because they have never felt the need to offer one to someone, they just don't understand one when it comes their way? I really get the feeling that they consider themselves so above everyone else around them.
  14. I think that Dr. Dubrow may be his own next client on his "Botched" show...he's going to have to consult his partner, Dr. Nassif, about having his foot removed from his mouth after making those completely derogatory remarks about construction workers or, maybe he'll need a more extensive surgery to have a construction's worker's foot removed from his ass!! What a sanctimonious, narcissitic, conceited, self-absorbed, high and mighty "penis" (to use a "medical" term...) And, Heather isn't any better!! Talk about a match made in heaven!!!
  15. Did anyone else think that not 10 minutes before Christian said that, he had snuck away to Vicki's pool grotto to smoke some weed?
  16. So...now Shannon is a boxer, according to Heather?? MIGHT be???
  17. Bali-nition music, Vicki??? Come on, she just spent time there - she shouldn't know it's Balinese?
  18. I didn't even notice that!!! She really is a "fashion don't", isn't she??
  19. I am convinced that Vicki has a carnival mirror in her bedroom, only the kind that makes you look tall and skinny, instead of short and fat...why oh why can't she hire a stylist, or at least, have an honest friend who will tell her that skin-tight and plunging necklines are never a good look for her?
  20. Why does Terry not get mad at Eddie for yelling out "Show us how you ride Terry"??? I thought that was pretty offensive, too...especially when kids are around!!
  21. I think that they are already integrated in. If you notice, some of the scenes - like Rino and his son going to the restuarant in Little Italy, there is no snow on the ground, and background people are not wearing winter coats. Also, when Giovanni was driving in the city with Teresa (last night's episode), and I've noticed in a few other scenes, too. Drives me crazy when production messes around with the timeline like that, and thinks we won't notice!!
  22. I agree that geographically, opening another restaurant in the Colts Neck area seems kind of stupid, I think it could be successful, depending on its location here. In the last 10-15 years, a lot of people from NY (specifically Brooklyn and Staten Island) have chosen to move to this area. If they had eaten at Ponte Vecchio before, and enjoyed it, opening something similar here makes good business sense (considering that I think that Rino and the twins are both originally from Brooklyn themselves).
  23. The Colts Neck Inn restaurant is actually very busy on Friday and Saturday nights, when we've been there, which is quite a bit. (Usually not during the summer, as we prefer to go to places closer to/on the water during the summer). The food is good -- typical suburban steakhouse fare - nothing fancy, but consistently good menu options. They have entertainment (local bands, DJ's, etc.) on Thursdays through Saturdays, and Saturday nights, the crowed is definitely more mature (over 40). The Inn itself is does book rooms, I think more for wedding guests, as they do very nice weddings there, as well. Oh - and, it was closed for several months last year, due to a dispute over the liquor license, or something... When I heard the new housewives were from the area, I mentioned it to my husband, and we both agreed that the Colts Neck Inn was definitely not the typical kind of place for them to film--it just doesn't seem upscale and trendy enough. I really figured they would film more in Red Bank - at Char Steakhouse or Red, both of which draw the type of crowd suited for the housewives. I also did not recognize the dessert place where Amber and Nicole had their "meeting" (I knew it definitely was NOT in Red Bank), so I googled it, and found out that is actually in Ramsey, NJ!!! Pretty far for both of them to travel to have a sit-down!! Here is their FB page: https://www.facebook.com/LarteNJ/timeline. My thinking is that they did this on their way to filming of another event, as Ramsey is closer to where Dina, Theresa G. and Melissa live. There are more kids from families with "money" that attend BCC than you might think.... Plus, I think that Brookdale has a pretty good culinary program, so it probably will work for Giovanni.
