please someone explain why they cut Lacey AGAIN.

World class! She slipped because she fell out of her turn so badly that she ended up out of the designated dance area. I wish they’ve kept that and cut the “400 hundred girls are trying out/this is the most competitive year”

Well i’m sorry, but considering that last year we heard them saying that VK, a tcc who gained 11 pounds in a few weeks, deserved the ‘respect’ to lose the weight instead of just getting cut, I think JennK, their point, 1GL and one of the few girls who got a leadership position in their second year deserved even more respect. And we do know that she was on WW, just like Kashara was. I don’t think either ever looked half as bad as VK did as a rookie candidate though. Which is why though they need to pick the right girl for the right role. Heather is great for interviews, so bring her along for those. Maddie is cute with kids, just as Amy is an amazing teacher.

Oh yes, Heather is their best spokeswoman at the moment for sure! I hope she decides to stay for a 5th year, but I agree that I want Maddie to retire. I liked her comeback story even though I wasn’t a huge fan, but I agree that Kelli promotes her way too much and that annoys me. She would have been fine in one of the top positions, but she’s not triangle material for me. At least she wasn’t last year; this year she looks much better.

I don’t think they even get to do many one to one interviews and definitely not that many with the boss right next to them. I think in most interviews it’s 3-5 girls together and each is getting one or two questions. Like her or not, I think JenK was one of the best speakers they’ve ever had. I admire that for sure! Maddie to me seems quite reserved and it was obvious last season when she was in the GL meeting with K&J. This interview must have felt like a torture to her!

I would argue she is actually the worst training camp candidate ever, mostly because i can’t find a redeeming quality from the past season at least. And no, “but she’s a pretty blonde” doesn’t count on my book considering that there are plenty pretty blondes out there who can dance and refrain from lying and milkshakes. And btw, i’m well aware of how difficult it is for some people to maintain or lose weight. But a healthy 18 y.o dancer who is dancing everyday for at least 4 hours has to be eating way too much to gain that much weight. This was supposedly her life dream and she knew how important being lean is, yet she couldn’t bother working on that and chose to blame it on a medical condition. No sympathy there. Wait...different triangle? Not just different point? It sounds a bit too complicated but if done well, it might be a great change. I’m going to assume then that the two triangles are those we saw in Oxnard... in which case Heather isn’t even part of one of the triangles and i’m hella mad.

I’m sorry but in the beginning i thought the image was frozen or something. Maddie has a huge smile on and is just barely blinking.

Have you watched the episode wth Jinelle/VK at the office? Where Kelli starts off with ‘i don’t want to accuse anyone with dishonesty but...’? Even if we don’t trust the insiders, Kelli literally said VK was lying (she was just too nice ooobviously). I don’t care who likes her and who doesn’t, i’m just genuinely curious about this and how people who like her interpret this scene. Jesus... We’ve had so many girls who deserved the spotlight and now that we’re struggling to agree on a senior girl who deserves it, they go with two? Can you confirm if the formation looks like Oxnard or if they’ll be rotating? I guess that proves that oxnard isn’t just a random performance and they are indeed testing out the formation they have in mind for the season.

I’m so glad someone else likes Alanna too! I was a big fan last year but I think she gets overlooked a lot. I can easily see her becoming a GL and for sure she’s future point contender. This was the first rookie class in a while in which we have soo many girls who can rise up to the occasion (namely, Bridget, Jalyn, Erin, Hannah, Alana, Amber ans Daphne. I will add Rachel too because they love her). Hope they all stay for five years, especially because that might keep VK away from the triangle 🙂 Ok Lacey and Alanna are obvious. With Heather i’m still not sure but if she got some work, damn I want her surgeon. But Jen? Maddie? Hannah? What did they do? I can’t see any difference honestly-not in Heather/Alanna’s way where bot look amazing and natural, I see no difference at all. Welcome to the club! I think she will gain more fans this year! Can someone who is in this group tell her to shut up and that we all now she was handed a position too? Although I’m sure she knows and enjoys that; finally thanks to Vk she’s not the worst case of nepotism on the team anymore!

Angela’s criticism was well deserved. What I’m saying though is that she got what was coming, while VK didn’t. You can’t convince me that any other “rookie hopeful” would ever get away with this-without even considering everything else that she did.

...that’s an example of Kelli snapping at her? She was extremely nice, just imagine another tcc saying the same thing. She would have been cut that very moment. Do you remember the treatment Angela got as a 5th year vet? And that is supposed to be a scared rookie candidate who doesn’t know if she’s going to make it. And it’s not even the attitude. Imagine any other girl gaining so much weight, being a mess and falling behind thinking that she somehow deserves SG. She would have been cut just for the lack of self awareness. I love Alanna but she looks like a different person. I don’t think it’s just the brows-she looks amazing, but...a different person.

Oh my god, her hair in the first picture look like a wig. Also, love the old photos. They’re so weirdly funny compared to what we get now.

Love this! They literally ‘aw’-ed when she fell (multiple times) out of her turns during auditions last year. She’s falling out of her turns (or moving spots) in almost all her personal videos too. Unless someone was there everytime poking her to fall out of her turn just for the show (and insta), then it’s all her. They started out strong, but they’re taking their sweet time now... i feel so sorry for the girls who are waiting to find out if they’ll make it. I wasn’t a fan, but I think she’s the single most impressive comeback girl. She was so soft and nowhere near dcc style and yet, she managed to turn it around in just one year. I know I know, I should stop bringing VK up but... here we have someone who is actually strong in lyrical and managed to turn it around in one year. Aaand then, there is the one who is mediocre at best in lyrical and has been taking prep classes for at least 3 years and still nada...

That’s one of the creepiest things these girls have said. I sure hope they don’t expect rookies to “yes ma’am” the vets too. I think she would look nicer with a more toned down blonde and less tan-that’s at least why she looks a bit plastic to me. But honestly it’s not about her look per se, her smirk just makes me feel like she’s a mean girl. It might just be her face though, so i’m trying not to focus on that. As for Alexis, I might be one of the very few who don’t think she’s that pretty. She has no neck in most pictures and she’s a blender at best as a dancer. I don’t think i can add anything on Bridget 🙂

It must have been a bit sad for her to be pushed back into the background actually. I know that supposedly they are above these things, but they’re not doing this for the money (clearly) or as a hobby. Don’t think that a talented dancer is happy with losing SG (which isn’t that usual) when ahem mediocre at best girls get a spot. What is Sarah wearing? I just love that they are posing next to each other with completely opposing outfits. And Kelsey needs to lay off the bleach, she looked better as a light brunette. I mean... that was the only time she acted mature. That is most certainly not a genuine reaction from someone who was previously seen thoroughly cleaning Kelli’s desk with her hair due to not getting SG.

My brain can’t accept that Kitty was a dcc. I just can’t accept that one of the girls we’re rooting for and love at the moment may grow up to be like that (and I’m not only referring to the extremely tacky highlights). I can’t say it looked good to me, but I think it’s cute that they got some many alumnae. I still think that their skills throughout 80-90s weren’t that great (their choreo definitely wasn’t) which makes me want to know why exactly Kelli was such an amazing superstar that was the only one who didn’t have to audition for her last season? I’m sure there were other girls throughout the seasons that were just as good if not better.

Depending on the questions, I think it’s normal to lean on someone on your level instead of going to the vets.

Same for me from Lexie to be honest.

Ashlee’s uniform is ill fitting as well. The bottoms look like a diaper and there’s almost no gap between the vest and the bottom. It’s not just about shape, Hannah’s shorts are low rise and Ashlee’s are high(er) rise for some reason.

They’ve filmed other parts (e.g calendar shoot) before. There’s only so much you can show when you only focus on practice and sponsorships. Plus, they keep saying that vets aren’t safe during tc either, so I want to follow their journey too.

From the current senior vets, Amy and Heather are the best in front of the camera.

I’m well aware of the fact. I just like seeing bts and interviews with the girls. They should be giving us more than Kelli saying the same stuff over and over and VK hyperventilating.

They’ve never allowed anyone to leave camp. Even if it’s true she didn’t even ask, there must be a reason for that. Ahh I would love to see oxnard, but if that means this year we will get some GL/non K&J practice then I’ll approve of it!

Well I don’t think they were invited last week or so, they probably knew for a while that this was coming up. Otherwise of course I wouldn’t expect them to go with new choreo in the middle of tc just for one event they were invited to at the last minute. Well I wouldn’t go down kalyssa’s path, but I sure hope all of these girls are waiting for the next big thing. Dancing in underwear for little money is hardly a big thing in the real world in any case.
