Not saying that this is true as it’s yet to be determined, but I really can’t think of a reason why they would need someone to sit out every game and especially (again if it’s true), why they would choose 2/37 to sit out all games. Guess we’ll find out sooner or later.

But that’s not dcc. They’ve never done this before and if that’s the case now, they don’t need all stars anymore. Imo they could easily cut this squad down to 32 and they can replace the all stars with the remaining 5 girls if needed who will just do appearances etc. you don’t alternate the main girls when you have a separate mini squad specifically for this.

Which is funny considering that there are only 4 upper vets and the 3rd years are behind several 2nd years anyway. I can see some 3rd years being mean, but none of the 4 ‘senior’. You’re right. She is in the third row when Amy is point and then gets behind Gina. Still good though. Personally, i would love it if all rockstar 2nd years get to be point. Give it to Caroline next year, next Rachel (they love her), then Amber, then Hannah, Alanna, Bridget, Ashlee... Keep ms.horsemouth away from point-if these girls retire, we will have to deal with VK at point for at least two seasons. Well most of the things they say don’t make sense to me so that sounds about right! I wonder if they get these answers though or if they expect the poor girls to be able to answer all these stupid questions perfectly on their own. Nah, we can agree to disagree. Yes they like tall blondes, but her smile ain’t better than the other poor girl’s. Plus, mama Kalina was the one who brought it up and I think it’s so ironic considering her own daughter has the same problem.

Well she’s got a better position than Hannah and Ashlee, so why not? I would be happy with Ashlee, Hannah or Caroline at point, but I think Bridget is strong too. She always looks like she’s having the time of her life and she has experience as point of her squad so... but I do think that Caroline will get there before Bridget and Hannah won’t make it to the triangle for whatever stupid reason kelli comes up with.

It’s kinda generic? And since they don’t have only one star in their uniforms, how would that be a representation of the lone star state? Not saying that she shouldn’t be able to bullshit her way out of this question, but when we applaud VK for answering a random question with something supposedly funny, i don’t want to condemn someone who is normally well spoken for not answering a question they haven’t given a ‘correct’ answer on. ...she flipped her hair once she spotted the camera and then decided it’s a good idea to flash her ginormous teeth on the jumbotron. I’m sorry but no other girl engaged the camera like that and if we’re going to call out Gina for adding hairflips on her way out, we should call her out too. I suppose fuck you Madeline, we know you’re not going to make it because your mom isn’t Kelli’s bff or Judy’s relative? Why would she? She was born the perfect dcc! Nah, i don’t mind the top dogs being family members as much. It’s his investment, he wants to keep it in the family and if they screw up, they will lose money. It’s not the same with trying like hell to convince everyone that vk is the perfect dcc. Now the day Charlotte makes Hayley the new dcc director i’ll agree that they rub the nepotism in our faces.

With other girls i don’t mind that much because 1.most of them exaggerate just because that’s what K&C want to hear 2.have had a college education/professional experience as this is truly just another achievement before they move on. I think Cassie kinda wanted this just for her mom and because she had no other career or educational aspirations. VK though does seem a 100% desperate to be a dcc and have been taking classes for years (plus she had the dcc victoria account for years). Apart from Cassie, she must be the only dcc staying still with her parents, no real college experience, no professional experience. She’s not even strong enough of a dancer to make a career out of it or become a teacher. I know we all have different dreams and priorities but for me, being a dcc in this day and age shouldn’t be the whole world of a young woman.

Honestly, I feel somewhat bad for her. I keep recalling Cassie talking about her retirement, looking completely lost and saying something to the effect of this has been my only dream and it’s ending. She was what? 23? This is VK in 5 years from now. Then i’m picturing her as GL and point (both are inevitable imo) and i lose all my goodwill...

But she was practicing in the back, so i’m guessing it’s not injury related. Hope it’s not true, but even if multiple girls have to rotate, why would you start with a 3rd year SG vet? Unless they didn’t want to keep a vet out of the in-season games and didn’t want to force a rookie to miss out on the first game experience with their teammates. Not that Kelli is so considerate to actually think of that, and still multiple vets to choose from (ahem christina or savvy ahem).

So Tess ends up in the triangle and yet Gina and Heather get pushed back in the formation? Kelli needs to retire already or at least check her eyes. That was really bad. I can’t believe it’s been two performances and we already had one point messing up twice and someone in the second line messing up once. Yeah that’s bullshit. At least they should be rotating one girl per game, not making a SG 3rd year vet one of the two “alternates”. Wanna force out a vet? How about the point who has been on ww for most of her tenure? How about the point who messes up? How about the girl who clearly messes up her counts? How about the beautiful storm who’s a dance risk? Alexis looked much bigger on the jumbotron so no way rachel’s out because of her weight. I’m sorry but placing Rachel in SG must mean they think she’s strong, so why on earth would they bench her over Christina and Savannah? It’s like they’re trying to force all decent dancers out with their management choices lately. This isn’t intended to be snark, but really what exactly is the correct answer? Because they didn’t give us one on the show and none of us here seems to know what they were going for. That’s not true. All girls have the same ‘memory muscle’ issue-as in, they will be more likely to mess up the counts if they’ve been used to dancing on a certain spot. Kinda what Tess did actually. A strong rookie wouldn’t be used to her spot and would be good enough to pick up changes quickly. Plus, rotating someone in the back is quite easy. Rachel is SG so she has to be somewhere in the middle/front, which is much harder to cover for. As for Jinelle, let’s be honest:they’ve been doing the same sideline dances for at least a decade. At most, all stars need to learn one new dance per season, maybe 2.

I like how it’s done, but since the first point is only there for a few counts, it doesn’t make sense to me. Also, you need a tall girl behind point so that means that we will always have someone extremely tall in the triangle too and that looks really jarring to me. Especially since they will end up there only due to their height-no way Tess would be in the triangle any other way. I guess that’s how they can get VK in the triangle though.

I’m hoping Rachel isn’t injured. I really like her and it would be very sad now that she made show group.

I didn’t want to watch the episode or the clip as i’m avoiding the season and i know that’s not what your post about. But dear god, victoria literally said she has matured and improved and whatever? They’re trying extra hard this year aren’t they?

According to Jenn’s story, Jackie and Cassie are running the junior dcc. Has Jenn ‘retired’ from dcc in general? And please don’t tell me they’re grooming Cassie to take over for her mother because i’ll start crying.

As long as all current 2nd years stay on, the rest can absolutely retire!

She’s not ugly for sure and her main ‘problem’ is her huge grin which she can learn to cover if she wants. However, this is how she really looks (last picture): The photoshop is quite obvious and her hair looks much better in a side part instead of the middle part she insists on doing. If she can get her hair to look like her cameo in real life it would be great.

To be honest, the whole group looks like they’re barely dancing except for Bridget who is killing it. But for me Alexis was never powerful enough and it’s a shame it’s pretty much a given she will be a GL next year if she doesn’t retire.

Cassie is calling her VK as well. So I guess hi cassie, thank you for reading our little forum! Also good to know that VK is now A rookie dallas cowboys cheerleaderS. Does anyone have a clip of yesterday’s performance with amy at point? I really do hope she didn’t mess up or it’s possible Judy had already killed her and hidden the body.

3 observations from meet the team and first game: -Jackie Bob had a qa and said her favorite rookie is VK. Well I guess she really wants the director position. At least even JennK who gets a bad rep tried to give her some legit advice. -On JennK, the new choreo they’ve been using is hers and I really like it. It’s dcc for sure, but feels surprisingly fresh. -Do Sam and Hailey actually work for the dcc, or do they ride the bus with the girls solely because of their mommies? Not that anyone would even think they got their whatever positions on merit but anyway.

Thanks for the reply! I like the 80s style in terms of outfits-not something I would wear but it does look fun. I was mostly wondering about the hair and makeup as now it looks almost clownish in some cases. I assume though that future generations will think the same of contouring etc.

Not really... i know i’m biased because i love her but i think that she is legit strong since Kelli mentioned her on camera after her first season saying that she was really powerful (after spending tc being told to become bolder) and made 2GL so quickly. While I do want more girls like Bridget and Amber on the team, I appreciate girls like Heather mostly because nowadays you can either get a Bridget or a Morgan/Breelan, nothing in between. Honestly, I think Gina is overdoing it sometimes but the problem is also that few girls can actually step up to match her dancing. For me, if they kept the girls that are up front right now and removed Amy, Maddie and Tess (or at least move Tess to the spot behind point permanently), the front rows would look amazing as is. Nevermind that she had a “dcc victoria” account for ages. Maybe it lost the appeal after all this time! Yeah I mean it’s not like they’re hiding her in the formation, but a girl like Jalyn being in the back row with rookies is just plain weird. And I don’t get her low scores and loss of SG, she looks just as strong as last year. Well to be fair, the average male fan only cares about how hot these girls are. Unless Kelli is going to try to spin the swimsuit calendar into a wholesome thing suddenly.

Good for Julia to show up unlike certain others. Erin’s cameo looks like Brittany Scramm! #heatherforpoint Tess looks really out of place in te triangle and Amy gets swallowed behind Maddie. I don’t like the formation change at all.

Have we figured out who didn’t perform? I think I can spot Rachel but not Jalyn.

Chandi is unbelievably beautiful. I don’t agree that they can use this as motivation. First of all, it aired after the team was announced so what’s done is done. And that’s clearly not an objective ranking as no way Hannah Jalyn and Maddie are that low on the actual rankings. They should be ranking the girls throughout TC if they want to use this as a “tool”, maybe even throughout the season-no way Amy would have stayed at the top of the list after messing up big time as point. But then they would have to cut the lowest ranking tccs and last season Kelli refused to cut VK even when she had only her sticker and Kelli chose to cut girls with more stickers instead. Btw I don’t like the negative criticism Amy is receiving because I agree she is generally a good dancer with an infectious smile. She can’t lead the team though and at best she should have been in the second line, just not point.
