We were to go to my granddaughter’s 3rd bday party last Saturday, but son & DIL had gone camping the weekend prior & one in the group tested positive. Son & DIL didn’t interact with her closely, but they’re not taking chances.

@SunnyBeBe Thank you for the recommendation! I watched it this morning with my grandsons while I was sitting. We all loved it. They're only 18 months, but we have to move beyond Elmo. I'd be happy to hear of any others you've found.

I am so jealous of your planned adventures! Camping in a minivan is exactly what I could picture myself doing. My DH on the other hand, not so much. We were all set to buy a pop up camper when he announced he didn't really think he could tow a camper. We've never towed anything, but I assumed we could practice. We have a tent, cots and all the stuff we need to camp, I just need to convince him we should go!

Thank you for sharing this. My children are probably around your age as I have young grandchildren. My DH and I often talk about the world in which they'll grow up, so I get your anxiety. It's been a crappy year and I pray that we see more safe and stable times ahead.

You really are “my people”!!! My DH chewing irritates me so much I looked it up. From WebMd: “Misophonia is a disorder in which certain sounds trigger emotional or physiological responses that some might perceive as unreasonable given the circumstance. Those who have misophonia might describe it as when a sound “drives you crazy.” Their reactions can range from anger and annoyance to panic and the need to flee. The disorder is sometimes called selective sound sensitivity syndrome.” I don’t think I’m quite to the point of fleeing, but I’ve got the anger down pat! 🤣

I was really surprised how many personal fireworks shows were going on in my neighborhood. And they're not even legal here! Really disappointed in people here. Many people had asked on a town facebook page that they had nervous pets or were veterans with PTSD. Madness.

I don't get the impression that Jeremy has ever experienced overworking.

She did a great job. I have 18 month grandsons that aren't near that level of speech & I don't think I've ever heard them try and sing.

The speakers were jokes. Don't they realize how foolish they look?
