I have to agree watching episodes from years ago was more enjoyable. They drank and yelled and fought with each other, but somehow it was entertaining not dragging me down. It’s becoming a drag watching this. I don’t really know why, it’s the same premise,.. obscenely wealthy women yelling at each other. But somethings missing. Surely The ratings are down. Hopefully they’re all off on a trip soon. A change of scenery might help.

Many times on these HW shows the newcomer hitches herself to the wrong wagon not realizing editing and storylines could sway in another direction. Annemarie apparently thought Kyle was the beloved queen bee and if Kyle was attacking Sutton, then dammit she would too. It would earn her brownie points. So she snickers and acts all superior alongside Kyle. But this season she’s picked the wrong HW to sidle up to. Kyle is being particularly vile. Plus Annemarie is annoying…so far. We might put up with vicious or narcissistic or ditzy…. But never annoying. Bad for ratings.

I think Sutton has been under attack since joining this franchise. Doesn’t seem to bother her much, tho. Her talking heads are funny.

Is Kyle bow legged, tho? She walks funny, kind of like a cowboy sometimes. I’m not ragging on her … we’re all stuck with the body we inherit. I do wish they employed better stylists. Some of the outfits look so ugly and so uncomfortable. Kyle’s poor squished boobs. They must’ve ached the next day.

These old old ladies with their long straggly hair extensions. Sutton, despite all her millions, needs a proper hair stylist and Erica’s hair is so bleached I’m surprised she’s not bald (maybe she is). They’d all look more youthful and modern with shorter hairstyles imo. With all the amazing entertainment offerings in Vegas, who would pay to see an Erica show? She’s too old for a sexed up Erica show and that’s all she has to offer. It was a good episode. The hour didn’t drag. Seeing Kyle frazzled is kinda fun. She never sees the irony. You have to be HONEST is her tagline isn’t it? I guess it doesn’t apply to her.

I rewatched the video of that day Kyle went to badger and confront LVP. She was enjoying herself. This is how she gets her kicks. I don’t think it’s just to be the resident shit stirrer (aka Tamra) and stay on top. she’s naturally mean . I’m suspicious of the editing, tho. Especially when the camera focuses on Sutton’s weird expressions. Sometimes I think her reaction shot is from another comment not the one we hear. Editing is everything with this show. They have hours and hours of tape that must be stripped down to 42 minutes. What we see is what they want us to see. Not necessarily what or how it happened

Kyle- marriage issues Dorit- convenient PTSD Erika- serenity now bitch Crystal- brother fretting Garcelle- kid fretting They’re all clamouring for screen time, but it’s weird wacky Sutton that’s getting most of the attention. The rest need to get storylines.

Sutton is the fall guy in the bunch. She’s an easy target. She’s not good at defending herself and resorts to southern belle attitudes and accent. No one’s going to confront Erika because she’s hard as nails, nasty and vicious. So Sutton can never win if this is yet again the set up for this season. And who is Sutton’s stylist? She has an unfortunate shape, thin arms and legs but thick waist and no hips. She seems to wear clothes that emphasis her figure faults. All that money and no sense of style.

It’s difficult for me to listen to Erica whinge and whine about not being obscenely rich anymore. She needs to work a lot harder on finding that elusive empathy. Maybe visit her husband’s cheated clients once in a while, see how they’re doing… stuff like that. Sutton is odd and unfortunately an easy target for the other HWs. Drinking is not going to help. This hairstyle they’re all affecting this season, pulled back, parted in the middle with two thin dangling strands waving about their faces. Not attractive.

It’s becoming more and more apparent to me that this show is scripted. They need to let the fighting happen organically….like back in the early days of the franchise. And Kyle is so unfair, always putting her own spin on things… ‘Sutton is upset and we have to leave’. No one was saying they all had to leave. (OT — Eons ago I went to a Magic Mike type place with a bunch of friends for a birthday. Of all people he pulled me up on stage and I was supposed to undo his zippers with my teeth. I did it. It was all in fun. But a couple of my friends were horrified and still talk about it to this day. I think they were jealous. I’m nearing my sixties now and smile every time I think about it. He was gorgeous. 🤪)

Although his life was one of violence, loss, and dark tragedy… Dean still retained an almost childlike enthusiasm, wonder and joy (being a cowboy, the rainbow slinky, etc). It’s a trait I love the most about him and one I try to emulate as I navigate my own difficulties in life.

I know they’re trying to make this show entertaining, but it’s just not. It’s irritating. You said that ….no,I didn’t —- is boring TV. They need a new formula.

Does Tamra forget a camera is following and recording all the time? I want to walk about in Heather’s figure…just for a minute.

Tamra is doing her job, otherwise it’d be even more boring. But yucky dick guy and Shannon’s on/off relationship status is not going to save this OC franchise. Remember ye olden days? I couldn’t wait for the next episode. It all seem fun and happening back then. Vicky screeching as she’s carried away on a stretcher, and then complaining that no one came to see her in the hospital. I think this happened a couple of times. 😂

It’s that tight smug grin on Tamra’s lips when shit hits the fan and everyone’s horrified and arguing. She’s doing her shit stirring job, but she enjoys its immensely. She’s no friend. I hope the John &Shannon “relationship” isn’t going to be the watergate for this season. It’s lame. Gina is going overboard with the thick bushy eyebrows and lashes. Shannon should’ve gone with a more current look… and where was the annoying vocal fry.

Re Heather’s house. I don’t remember the episode or the fancy function but it looked like everyone at the party was confined to the big foyer and the rest of the house cordoned off with ropes. It was the episode where Heather lost her cool and ran about screaming about something. The New York gals enjoy more cozy comfy looking homes. I guess because they’re way smaller and often condos. The bleached blond women with their stringy extensions and plastic faces are all starting to look the same. And now there’s another Heather? It’s confusing for the casual viewer like myself.

Nose hairs are important. Nose hairs act as a filter that prevents viruses, dust, pollen, and allergens from entering your lungs.

It’s all staged for ratings. But entertaining. Better than any comedy. There should be a laugh track 😂😂😂😂

If you watch on Prime they cut scenes and you don’t always get the great music. Tun up the volume and remember…..

At the police station interview Jensen said he’d filmed most of his character’s backstory before the incident. It seemed like a kind of separate back story and now his character was moving into the main storyline meeting up with Alec et al. So why reshoot with a new actor? His bit was almost done… except for the shootout (my understanding is Jensen would’ve been involved in the shootout, the mind boggles!) it’s all just such a shame. Jensen was having fun and living the dream. Hopefully this incident has brought more awareness around movie set safety. Despite all the fun they had on supernatural I get the impression it was always safety first.

The issue with this and most other TV series is that the writer for any weekly episode probably possesses only a passing knowledge of previous plots and running storylines. They might know the whims of the characters, but not much history. They might hardly ever actually watch. This is where the show runner earns his/her salary because he/she is pulling it all together (supposedly). Also the show runner has a passion for the product (supposedly). When Dean (or it might’ve been Sam) said he would love to see the Grand Canyon, fan message boards lit up like a Christmas tree because in a previous episode the brothers talked about a trip down the Canyon with crazy dad John. My theory is that they need a rabid fan on set as consultant.

I guess I’m not one of those people that needs everything explained and rounded up nicely. There’s way too much explaining and exposition in TV and movies today imo. We didn’t used to be so spoon fed back in the day. In fact we were mostly left to our own devices during the early seasons in terms of the brothers’ relationship with their dad. We got little bits here and there. We had to figure it out for ourselves as the episodes progressed. I guess the heat was on Jensen … you got some ‘splaining to do …. Plus it’s likely the end of the show. So he had to come up with something. And I have to admit it worked. Good writing. Made sense I guess. Alternate worlds can be handy. So wonderful to see our Dean again. 💕
