They tried hard, but there really was no tension. That Mary and the children would be okay was totally predictable. No one’s going to die on this series. (With Sam and Dean you never really knew 🤣). I’m not feeling any chemistry between the four main characters yet. No one seems to have much of a sense of humour either. The final few minutes were the highlight of the hour. Love the music. Hope this series finds its way soon.

I did find myself enjoying this episode, but there was nothing I hadn’t seen before in a dozen other similar series. What do the ‘glampers’ do all day? Sit in their tent? Wander the woods? A boring vacation I’d think. And not cheap probably. Although there’s lots going on in those woods. Bodies laying about, etc. I don’t know why this is aired at 10pm. There’s nothing unsuitable for children. Could be shown in the afternoon. It’s a generic drama. No sex, no violence. It was pretty obvious the inept police officer would survive. I hope Jensen’s just doing one season. Although I do appreciate his wardrobe. 😍

Gosh! Hunting’s all so difficult without laptops, Google and cellphones isn’t it? I enjoyed this episode more than the pilot, but there’s still too much dashing about and talking rapidly imo. Slow down. I have to turn on the closed captions. The weak link, for me, is Mary. The fact that she’s so kickass doesn’t make her ‘Dean’ in my eyes. She doesn’t relate to either brother yet imo. She doesn’t even relate to the two versions of Mary we got on the original show. I hope they slow her down and give her some flaws or she’s going to be a Mary Sue. I do like the actor playing John. He does have bits of Sam and Dean. Can I see him becoming an obsessed bastard in the future? Not really. But it doesn’t take much to mess people up does it? I guess the series will eventually find it’s way and settle down and the characters grow on us. Hope so. The lighting, music and atmosphere are all top notch. The hellhounds at the end were interesting.

The lighting is usually pretty cruel at these reunions, and sometimes I think the make up and hair/wig/extensions stylists are in the back having a laugh. It should be fun.😂 I’ve got wine 🍷

Lots of 10/10 reviews on IMDb. The haters point to lack of chemistry between the John/Mary leads. And wondering why Jensen wanted to tell the story of the two least liked characters in the whole series. And a few are obvious Sam/Jared fans having a gripe. But the good reviews far outweigh the bad. I hope Jensen is happy this morning. 🫰

Well that was all a bit gung ho and rushed. Exposition is not your friend, writers. Like they were trying to cram all explanations into this pilot episode. people were having conversations that people in real life never do. And the action was rushed too imo. They got up and down that well pretty damn quick. Slow down for suspense to build. Monsters and situations were dealt with way too quickly and easily. I like the actor playing John. Mary has to take a breath once in a while and not speak a hundred words a second. If she keeps this up I’ll find her annoying. Eric took his time unravelling the brothers relationship with their dad. Jensen needs to do the same. Lots of tricky twisting relationships here. Let them evolve naturally over time. But the episode did keep me engaged. I do not wrestle much with canon, but I think that’s the hoop Jensen has to jump with die hard supernatural fans. I’ll stay tuned to support Jensen. Loved the music.

They need to ramp up the suspense. A bit of a predictable snooze. 💤💤 But it’s a nice change to see Jensen looking like he just walked off the cover of GQ magazine, Montana Sheriff edition, and not covered in blood and wearing four layers of flannel.

Andy is laughing all the way to the bank. It’s all about ratings and profit. And I’m sure the ratings for this shitfest are very very good. New York was a yawn because they went teetotal and the bully had been removed. The unsettling part of this particular franchise, for me, is the cruel ganging up on a weaker cast member. It’s seems to be the go to plot lately. I prefer when they’re all equally able to give as good as they get. We have no footage of the meltdown. Kyle taught the gruesome twosome how to treat her sister, so they ran with it. Now Kyle is upset? What did she expect?

The reunion should be interesting, shouldn’t it? I wish Andy would let someone else host. He can be frustrating. The best part of the reunion, tho, is that they’re all squeezed into tight uncomfortable outfits … and badly lit.

I’m afraid I only look up and watch when Beau is on screen. I hope Jensen stays for the year and then moves on. This role offers zero challenge. He’d never phone it in, but with this he easily could.

I hope Kathy doesn’t leave. She comes out with some gems that make me grin ….”I’ve worked with the homeless, I’ve worked with the toothless”.

They keep showing Rinna’s manic glass smashing scene and it just occurred to me how flipping dangerous that was. A shard could’ve hit someone’s eyeball.

I bet Erika tucked into that Popeyes lunch at Sutton’s. The ONLY thing I ever liked about her was that she enjoyed her food and didn’t pick at it like the others. She’s tall with a curvy shape so can handle the calories I guess. But, geez, she’s looking pretty rough without the heavy makeup. I wondering what the lip filler does to lips. They’re all licking, sucking, primping, lips all the time especially Diana. The filler must be a bother. And, of course, Rinna’s lips have literally taken over her face. Sutton doesn’t have filler, but I can’t say that bright red is attractive. Garcelle is aging the best and she doesn’t appear to have had anything done. Erika is a selfish bitch, but Rinna is pure evil. How dare she say it’s Kathy who has the black heart.

A friend was talking about an episode in a group of acquaintances. Everyone else, including myself, feigned horror at the fact that she watched such a show. I never admitted that I also watch each week. Later find out that most of us watch… but never admit. It’s crazy. Why I watch is still a mystery. I’m entertained by ‘reality’ I guess. Most network dramas are a bore.

That was a boring episode. Boring party. Boring silly outfits. Even the expensive basement was boring. And Rinna’s never going to win an Emmy.

Erika never has to worry about heart disease… since she has no heart.

All the housewives shows are heavily edited imo. Check out the plates of food on the table or background people, etc and it quite obvious. Glasses can be full then empty then full again. There’s one scene from a few seasons ago where Rinna’s jacket is off then on then off again during her reaction closeups. But all the editing in the world can’t save that horrible selfish bully Erika.

Either this show is heavily edited and possibly scripted or these are actual WITCHES we’re watching. 😱 With the exception of Garcelle and Sutton, of course. 😊

If only this series could be on a streaming platform and not the CW. It’s odd that shows filled with pretty shining people are aimed at a much older demo. I’ll watch to support Jensen and I wish him success.

Disgusting outrageous behaviour only brings in the high ratings for a short while. People will quickly be turned off. Hope so, anyway. Otherwise what does that say about humanity.

This is the only franchise that features a gang up and then vicious take down of one particular cast member. And it’s not fun to watch. Most other HW show participants can give as good as they get. But this is different. This is unfair. This is victimization.

This was the meanest ugliest most sickening episode of any HW franchise. I hope it’s true that Diana, Erika and Rinna are out. Vile shit stirring Kyle can go too. This was uncomfortable to watch. Bravo…no one wants this.
