I think we will have to agree to disagree. IMO based on what we’ve seen his responses would be something along the lines of... If they tried (but didnt succeed in killing Sam): -shoved them up against the wall and angrily growls- “Don’t you ever try to kill my brother again” If they succeeded: All bets are off and a grieving Dean very well could make an attempt to kill him. But I respect your opinions different :)

I have a genuine question for you... If their positions were reversed and Kevin was the one to try and kill a possessed Sam, or worse still actually succeeded in killing a possessed Sam, how do you think Dean would respond? Do you think he’d just shrug it off and be like “Oh, don’t worry about it Kevin. That’s just the way things go in this life”
-
There was never a point Dean was happy to let someone kill a possessed Sam. That is the point I was trying to make. That it would have been pretty hypocritical of Dean to lecture Kevin on how he should just shrug off the fact Dean tried to murder his possessed mother, which is why I’m glad Kevin told him to shut up when he tried to start his “sometimes in this life” speech. I would bet pretty much anything, if another hunter tried to murder a possessed Sam, or worse still succeeded in actually doing so, Dean’s response wouldn’t be the casual -shrug- “oh well, that’s what happens in this life” he expected of Kevin”. More likely Dean would try to kill the hunter for (trying to) murdering his brother.

To be fair Jared can only be blamed for the original tweet, which he quickly took down. He can be partially blamed for any fans who may have chosen to harass the worker Jared named on Jared’s behalf. However, he can’t be blamed for the decision of Shatner to bring himself into things and escalate the situation dramatically by starting to bully someone who criticised Jared’s actions. Jared’s original tweet certainly didn’t suggest Shatner should do that.

I lOVED Bobby from s1-7 and I still consider Death’s Door my favourite post Kripke era episode, but I have to agree with you on this. I’m totally over the random fan service cameos and wish they’d just let the character be when he died in season 7. However, he’s made it seasons 1-12 without missing a season so I’m sure they’re determined not to break it now.

Sorry, I mustn’t have worded it right. I don’t think he expects fans to actually have the power to get Jared fired. He just thinks they’re twisting the situation to /try/ and get him fired. Basically he thinks the fans complaining have an agenda he disagrees with and wants to call them out on it even if their so called efforts are futile.

Agreed! I think “heartless” is twisting Lua’s “have a heart” and making it sound more insulting than what she said. While the “take his pills” was said by someone else entirely and not her fault. He’s also chosen to turn it into a conspiracy theory where no one can have legitimate reasons for criticising Jared’s brash action because if they do they are a part of a secret group with the mission to get Jared fired. @catrox14 I thought to say earlier, but I highly doubt Shatner and Misha are friends since he claims he’s all about defending friends and half the people he’s chosen to respond to are open Misha haters.

Did you see the original tweet? I haven’t and I’m curious about the wording because there’s so many versions of what happened. I’ve been nosying on Shatner’s timeline and this is what I’ve been able to gather. A twitter user called Poptivist commented on Jared’s recent angry tweet. According to those who have sided with her the tweet was simply a condemnation. Something similar to people on here commenting they don’t agree with Jared’s tweet. According to Shatner and the Jared Stans defending him the original tweet was much more malicious and referred to Jared as “heartless” and “off his meds”. So basically Shatner and Jared stans have been bickering all day with those defending Poptivist. I’d honestly never heard of Poptivist before, but apparently they’re a Destiel shipper. So now Shatner etc are claiming it’s all a big Destiel fan conspiracy to try and get the producers to fire Jared. Im curious about the wording because it would definitely affect my opinion. If it was just a “he shouldn’t have personally named someone” Shatner was out of line. But if they really did Say stuff like “he must be off his meds” then I don’t blame Shatner for defending his friend especially since that could be interpreted as a dig about Jared’s past issues with depression and mental health.

I did the same! Instead of it taking a week, two if I was particularly busy, it took me over a month to work my way through season 7! Now I think lll just try to get through 8-9 as quickly as possible so I can get to 10 where things improve again!

The reason I originally asked what was said is that it can influence my opinion of the response. For instance if it was something like "Jared Padalecki is lame" "Jared Padalecki is a terrible actor" or "Jared Padalecki completely overreacted when he tweeted that persons" name then I don't think Shatner's tweet was justified and the fact it led to his followers and Jared stans attacking this person is even worse. That person is entitled to their own opinion even if it isn't one I agree with. On the other hand, if their tweets were as damaging as some of the ones I've seen against Misha such as "he's irresponsible and needs his kids taken off him" "he's abusive to children" "he's clearly the type to sexually molest costars and fan"* then Shatner's response was justified because that fan crossed the border from expressing an opinion to out and out spreading falsehood and defamation of character. He's entitled to defend his friend from comment, which if taken seriously, could lead to problems in his professional and personal life. * Sadly, I have seen these comments made in a matter of fact tone by some of the most profilc Misha / Cas haters in the fandom.

These Spoilers Suck: Bitter Speculation About SPN Spoilers

Based on the picture of Mark and Misha filming outside the portal to Heaven* and the info that the deals “related to Jack”. Here is my personal spec. Castiel and Jack are somewhere outside of the bunker bonding and getting to know one another** A group of angels storm in and kidnap Jack without Cas being able to do anything about it and comment on the fact they’re taking him to heaven. Cas seeks out Lucifer for help on getting him back since he’s the only one with the juice needed to storm heaven. * This photo was taken during the filming of episode 7, which will be a BuckLemming episode. I’m fairly certain however it goes down Cas willbe shown in the worst light possible because it’s Bucklemming lol ** This is assuming Jack is still interested in Cas by his return. Although I wouldn’t be surprised if his reaction to Cas’ return is basically a shrug before going back to trying to impress his new daddy Sam. -
And IMO I think it’s rather obvious Sam had a breakdown of some sort, which accounts for his erratic behaviour between seasons. Sadly, since Dean stated it was just abandonment for abandonment sake itmust be true. I always find it interesting that 90% of those who believe Sam just abandoned him for the sake of a cosy life are also out and out Dean centric fans.

IMO Hunteri Heroici was trying to create a parallel between Fred and Sam at the end of season 7. IMO they were trying to show us that Sam had a break like Fred and retreated into a dream world where everything seeemd perfect on the surface, but it wasn’t really. While Fred quite literally broke and fled into his mind Sam broke and just fled from everything including Kevin. The problem IMO is a bit like Cas in S6 the writers gave us one episode of Cas POV and expect the audience to work out the best from there. Sadly, only those invested in Cas and Sam can be bothered to do that while the rest are happy to assume the worst. Some say Cas rose Sam soulless purposely or Sam abandoned Dean for no real reason and had a wonderful time without Dean.

I just had a thought.... wasn’t there pictures at one point of Lucifer and Castiel stood outside the portal to heaven? What if the angels kidnap Jack and the two of them work together to free him from their clutches? The only problem with this is that Lucifer have have the power to storm into heaven without the aid of Castiel, but when does logic stop these writers? -

The only way I could see myself accepting this storyline is if there’s something wrong with Jack! As in his powers get out of control, through no fault of Jack’s own, or his health declines or something like that and only Lucifer can help save him. I think that scenario could work without character asssassinating Cas especially if he sees Jack as a son. However, knowing Dabb and Co they’ll go for idiot Cas making a deal in circumstances only the most naive of people would make it. ETA: Im also going to call bullshit on Misha’s claims they’ll be united and on the same page this season. It’s Dabb, there’s no way this deal doesn’t cause friction with Sam and Dean. -sigh- I really wish Misha wouldn’t be a liar who lies. -

Do you remember last season when I said that Dabb hates Castiel and only let’s him stay around to drive the plot via screwing up? I think this just proves my point... -sigh- -
The episode doesn’t go into specifics. We know that the boys discovered the web cam Brian had left in the professors office and it led them to him somehow. I would assume that they either a) hacked into the camera feed and traced it back to his connected laptop. I don’t know the ins and outs of hacking, but I think this is plausible since we know Dean picked up tricks from Frank last season (which he later taught to Sam) or b) Were able to use a serial number to figure out the owner of the webcam.

In regards to your spoilered question the answer is yes he is :). And he did get a hunters funeral! I’m not sure about the episode, although I suspect Of Grace importance, but I remember an exchange between the brothers that was along the lines of Sam: “What are we going to do about Bobby?” Dean: “We did what we were supposed to do, we burned his body but he...” I’ll try and see if I can find the actual dialogue and edit the post with it later :) ETA: @RulerofallIsurvey . I managed to find the dialogue I was thinking of along with another quote that confirms he got a hunters funeral. I was right that it was mentioned during Of Grave Importance
