  1. I am putting this in unpopular opinions because everywhere i see people are criticising the final episode - Carry On. I loved it!! Of course it had its faults - there isn't a single episode which does not have - but I find myself going back to that episode again and again. Crying bucketful every time - both Jensen and Jared acting is stellar . I get warm and fuzzy feeling seeing them unite in heaven. I find a perfect end to a beautiful relationship between the two brothers - "us against the world". I find the love that the brothers had for each other of the purest kind. To be there for each other, to have each other's back - amazing! The content smile on Dean's face as he is driving Impala in heaven, the grief and then acceptance of life in Sam and then the soft and warm smiles on their faces - that's peace, right? My apologies if my opinion is in anyway disrespectful of yours.
  2. When you put it this way - well - I just love it!
  3. Reading some of the posts here. I am glad my disbelief and, frankly, eye rolling scene of 'I love you Dean' is shared. I have never understood why writers give in to extreme fandom, specially in the case of Destiel. Remember FANFICTION and Dean's reaction? He even looked at the viewers directly ! And after that the writers had the audacity to put such a scene?? To make MC and his fans happy!! I am glad I am Dean girl and never got involved in MC and Castiel shanigans!!
  4. Exactly what I was thinking when this whole pieces of soul conversation was happening!!
  5. I knew there was something wrong with the scene!! How is it possible that Rowena does't know who Jack is!! Thanks !! btw - What will it take for the SPN writers to understand - LUCIFER STORY IS WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY PAST EXPIRATION DATE. Don't care for Nick and his revenge story either!! (If it matters to anyone) I did like Dean/Jack scenes. I agree, it Dean's approval matters to Jack because he had to work to earn it - even if it was rushed by the writers. I like Jack, actually. I wish he would have some substantial story and not become like Cas - there for the sake of it. I feel sad for Cas actually. Writers don't give him a strong storyline. IMHO, anyways.
  6. My opinion given below is not unpopular ( I think) , but very, very and VERY BITTER. In case I should be posting somewhere else let me know Rewatch season 13 finale: That fighting scene at the end - between Michael!Dean and Lucifer - is so .....unimpressive!! What was the director and the stunt coordinator and who ever else was involved - thinking? The epic fight - after eight long years - between Michael and Lucifer - and this what they could offer? And I was reading somewhere - Lucifer will be back in season 14? So then what was this whole sequence - just a ploy to shut Dean fans? Dean!Michael made me so happy. Every time I used to see The Swan Song topping the lists of Supernatural episodes in any category, I used to either turn away in disgust or, after a while, take a deep sigh of bitterness, and move on. Finally we get Dean!Michael - and not just a vessel but Michael's sword. Even the stupid fight I would have swallowed after a while I suppose. But Lucifer' s return? NO. So please, (begging everyone) do tell - how can we convince the show runners not to bring back Lucifer. I personally think they have #bringbacklucifer confused with SPN Lucifer. SPN Lucifer is wayyyyyy past his expiry date. His return was planned in Episode one of Season 1 - with Sam being the chosen one to bring back Lucifer. He was sent back to his cage brought back again, possessed a few, including the president, was put in an oval thinggie and immediately resurrected and we have gone through whatever possible evil Lucifer could do. Are we going to be stuck with Lucifer for the remaining of SPN life??
  7. I cannot believe that after thirteen years and 250+ episodes, I am still so excited and looking forward to MichaelDean!!!! Wow!! Amazing!! MichaelDean at last!!! I know everyone - just everyone - had predicted that Dean will become Michael. Yet, poor me, still hoped, and prayed that the new character that Jensen and others have spoken of will be a surprise. But then that's me. Still hopeful that writers can come up with something new. Though I must admit everything on screen was pointing towards MichaelDean. That was before the I watched the episode. But the scene where Dean talks of being Michael's true sword, and that he has no option - seemed just the right time for Dean to take Michael. Situation aside, that is quintessential Dean - he will do anything to save Sam and the world - come what may. Tackle the situation on hand. Rest can be figured out later. And here, I do agree, he had no choice. Lucifer was so powerful specially with Jack's grace - Dean did the Dean thing. Most importantly : I am still over the moon with the beautiful scenes we got of MichaelDean - spreading his wings in full splendour, those few seconds when Michael repossesses Dean after Lucifer is dead - Jensen was stunning, and MichaelDean casually walking in that amazing outfit in the last scene. (Please omit the freeze screen) Did I mention I am so looking forward to MICHAELDEAN?
  8. I do wish they had not mentioned Syria at all. So much is happening there - so much pain and suffering - better stay with - Jerusalem was it? - from where Cas got the holy oil. My opinion of course.
  9. A top notch episode for me!! Scooby Doo and SPN worlds blended perfectly. It was like Scooby Doo world was the infancy version of SPN. Animation, voices, action sequences - everything great - and I am definitely not going to nit pick. After a long time I watched an episode which was soooooo much better than whatever is happening at present - with Lucifer, Mary and the rest. Yup - really needed this light hearted episode. And I just loved reading so many positive comments here!! Great going ! Oh one thing - Mystery machine and Baby need a rematch. No one - not even Scooby gang can leave our baby biting dust!! (INDIGNATION)
  10. bold - I liked it too. As far as faith is concerned I was thinking of the recent episode where Dean tells Sam that he has no faith and that he needs Sam to have faith for both of them. I think it is about faith in general - in humanity - it is never perfect. But we still need to strive to make it better - at our own pace. I think that s what priest meant and that is what's Dean's take on it - IMO Liked him too. Not that he was very interesting - just liked the character. And yes I do hope we see him again oh - Didn't realize. I am so tired of this angel demon story thingie. I think that is why I liked the episode so much - No angel and no demon.
  11. Just finished watching the episode. I really liked the episode!! just Sam and Dean - on a case - looking for a skull which they don't need. And Dean finds faith. missed the monsters though. The mob story - hmmm - different but interesting. Sam and Dean as brothers - top of their game - loved the snark. Dean and Baby - predictable but compelling. The priest - like the character. I am glad he got a win.Sometimes we get episodes with too many side characters and too much happens - unless handled well its a big mess. This episode. IMO, had just the right amount of Sam and Dean with their sassy attitude. Side characters doing their part - that is of supporting Sam and Dean. And I loved the final show down.
  12. I agree with you. In fact, I have realized I enjoy the show much more when I can appreciate the differences and similarities between the brothers. In many ways, together they present two sides - two aspects of the same thing. I can't seem to think of an example right now, but for a very long time I have felt when we see both their perspectives only then do we see the 'whole' Personally, I relate more to Dean's perspective. Doesn't mean Sam is wrong!!
  13. There is an educational institute here by the name of 'Winchester School'. When I first saw its school bus, near my house, picking up students, my immediate reaction was - I need to apply to that school, I have to find out where it is located. No idea whether they were recruiting or anything. Just the name WINCHESTER was enough. And I have a regular job!! Plus that school is o-level - I wouldn't have got a job there anyways. Yet...... Thank god common sense prevailed and I am still working. Whenever I see their bus for one second my heart still becomes heavy - I am not associated with that school. Then I just let go.
  14. Only three weeks?????? I am sure it was longer than that!! I watched so many episodes - Ok - not all 264. Atleast I don't think so. But I did cover all the seasons. And - I enjoyed re -watching them. Unbelievable! Finally - a new episode. Anytime there is a SPN anonymous meeting - I need to join. It would be liberating to say loudly - yes. I am SPN addict.
  15. After reading some of the comments, I believe I have company. This episode was so all over the place and beyond stupid. When I first watched it I did not know how to respond. The episode felt so boring. So confusing. I was wondering - what have I just watched??? There is so much that happened- Luci-Cas front, Ketch, Asmodeous, Sister Jo - another angel, and then there is Jack and Mary, and Michael somewhere and AU with Bobby and Kevin Tran. Too many story lines - which I believe will meet somewhere. Someday. Let me take one at a time - Luci-Cas - they escape, wound or kill each other (still confused) and then both are whole again. Then they are looking for each other, Find each other-and something again happens. (Don't Judge - I watched it once - three days ago. Don't feel like watching it again.) Sister Jo - was waiting for Danneel's appearance - and what did we get - sexual overtones between her and Luci - ewwwwww. And no, she did not leave a lasting impression. As a minor angel - she was a tiny bit better than all other angels still on the show, except Cas of course. Ketch - Die die and then burn and then ashes spread all over the atlantic. Lets see how he escapes that. Cas - I have stopped trying to understand Cas altogether - I want Cas with some Mojo but then consistency has to be there - I spent time trying to figure out which Cas we have on screen - Sam and Dean's angel, powerless Cas, Empty Cas, shape-shifter Cas, or some smart Cas who can put Ketch to sleep with a flick of his wrist, or some new Cas I am not aware of. Sam and Dean - after fighting demons and angels and Knights of Hell and Darkness and everything in between - one would think they are have learned something - nope. They did not have much to do anyways. Also there is this problem of angle grace - Ho much does Luci need - what kind of power does he have with limited grace, How much power does Luci have at present? Cas's grace was also partially used by metatron to throw angels from heaven - how much grace does Cas have? - if Sister Jo is sharing her grace, how much power is left with her? And then there is Gabriel - surprise for sure - now the question is how was Asmodeous able to get his hands on Gabriel? Maybe I should make an effort to see this episode again.
  16. Agree!! +100000000 times No wonder I love SPN so much!! It can still amaze us with some sooooo unpredictable stuff. Or something???? I am sure I am capable of intelligent thoughts . Sometimes. Maybe.
  17. Someone needs to inform the writers. And the directors, And the producers. And actors. And the cameramen. ...........Too many people. I suppose that is why this info too will be lost. And we will get another episode about angels and Lucifer. Actually I do feel they have problems listening to us!! This episode was ..... I don't know ..... about how important angels are???? Or how much the viewers like Lucifer and his brand of humour???? It was definitely something to do with angel story. But didn't that story end in season six or seven and then dragged in nine??? I am sure it was about something. My brain really hurts to think about it.
  18. No. Add me to the list - and yes I have similar issues - for days Sam and Dean couldn't find the rift? What were they waiting for when they all reached there? For monster to appear? Were they so shell shell shocked that could't react? I had started to like Kaya too. Before seeing her in her evil avatar - I literally had tears in my eyes. She dies in her 'bad place' - the place which terrified her. Now having set aside all that bothered me, I liked the whole female camaraderie that is being developed - long way to go, I think. The characters are still too raw, action still forced, and IMO, the relationship till in infancy kind of state - but I felt that underlying bond, the love and care that can be developed, the 'family' that they can become - and hope the bonds becomes as natural as Sam and Dean have. Another world - glad we have left the world of angels - they had become so boring, their story lines dragging. Do wish they would introduce Castiel in this world - but make him do something substantial - be a character who makes a difference - and not there just because he seems to be fan favourite. He was an interesting character in season 4 and 5. Of course what I really want is more Sam and Dean. Wayward daughters/ sisters whatever - I watch SPN for Sam and Dean.
  19. You are re-watching S3 - again - hiatus after all - and a reference is made to meadowsweet. You end up googling about it, images and all, as if you need to write a paper on it. Still cannot believe meadowsweet made me so curious!!
  20. I liked the library of Death - maybe we will get more scenes in there. Overall, a decent episode. Maybe we should consider sending the writer a fruit basket. We need good writing for both Sam and Dean, and we got it in this episode.
  21. love the episode too!! Unfortunately. All said and done, Billy cannot come anywhere near the original Death. Kuddos to the actor who played DEATH, original one that is. agree!!
  22. Finally!! Really liked the episode. And not just because it was Dean heavy. We got to understand the grief, the pain - the utter dejection Dean is going through. After the last couple of episodes where Dean is shown to be so mean to Jack, this was so overdue. And Sam was so supportive of Dean. He finally understood how broken Dean is. I loved their conversation about the strip club. Sam is so obvious!! Loved loved that interaction. Then Dean and Billy. Except the first episode in which Billy appeared, I never really liked Billy. I don't know - never warmed up to her character I suppose. When she was killed off, I thought she had served her purpose. But this episode, she was amazing. Very calm and controlled. I liked the way she handled Dean's grief. There is so much that had to be said about Dean's state of despair, the grief that Dean is going through and it was through her character we got a glimpse of it, IMO. When one Winchester is dead, it is so difficult to understand the distress, the pain, the anxiety and the nervousness of the other - no wonder death of one brings the other to the edge. Dean made me skip a heart beat - no no no - you cannot die. Like not FOREVER. " You have work to do" Stellar performance form Jensen!! The grieving mother, the troubled teen, - MOTW - I found it very interesting - kept me on edge - specially when Dean decided to die to find out about the ghosts' bodies. About Cas returning - I still think too much importance is given to this character. In this episode, he is a win for Dean. So ok I suppose. But for me he is one character who comes in the category of what is dead should remain dead. He is the one who wrote this episode? Yes please!!
