Both my late mom and mother in law wore Youth Dew by Estee Lauder. When I smell anyone wearing it (usually in the grocery store BC) I'd think of them. I love that some of those vintage perfumes are still made today. I didn't get the irony comment, either. Hopefully Lydiae will clarify.

There was a Dateline NBC that aired last night past my bedtime. I'm watching it On Demand now. It's about Rulon and Warren Jeffs. A former wife of Rulon's appears, and tells about her life in Short Creek.

Speaking of Instacart, the last orders I got from Fred Meyer and Costco were perfect, except for the store(s) being out of an item or two. I tipped them extra, because they did a great job. The previous two orders I got had a few errors. I was still able to get most of what I wanted. I still tipped, but not as much. It's got to be a jungle out there for delivery people, and they're very appreciated. I started getting Schwan's every other week, and have been happy with everything we've tried, so far. I went through mom's old jewelry a while back. I sent some to my daughter and kept the rest. 50's and 60's chic. 😊 I just love looking at it and remembering mom wearing it.

That reminds me of the trip Meri and SludgePudge took to Seattle. SludgePudge had on those holey jeans that showcased their thigh fat. Funny that Christine is wearing and selling those overpriced LLN jeans that probably rip more with every wearing. Yeah, not the best choice in cold weather. Now there's a polar vortex coming that may bring May snow. Weird.

Even a young child can be referred to as an "old soul." I believe it was our @Kohola3 that said COL is a state of mind, not an age. We are honored to have members of all ages. My dad would have said they are "wise beyond their years." We cannot say the same about Snowflake. She's only into whatever puts fans and their money in her pocket.

Here's a little somethingk to brighten your day, if you find Robyn as loathsome as I do: There's a topic on Reddit about how the Brownies couldn't afford pizza before being subsidized by the TLC gods. Anyway, a poster there called her Snobyn, for among other things, being a spoiled little bitch demanding a 7 bedroom house. That's exactly what she is! It was a new one on me, anyway, and I had to share with my fellow snarkers. 😘

Yes! Robyn's a helicopter wife, as well as an extreme helicopter mother. I tried zooming in, but can't tell what Kootie is wearing over his shameful Speedo. I just noticed Christine's dirty feet. Not quite as bad as Janelle's, but close.

I just had a thought...sales of lipstick, lip gloss, etc. are going to go down. Normally I would wear it, but with a mask, no one's going to see it, so I'm not using it. I've had mental health counseling, when I was going through a rough spot, in the 90's. I haven't had group therapy, but this is what I imagine it would be sort of like, reading everyone's posts and us being unafraid to share our worries, and support one another. I'm with Kohola, I hope everyone continues to post here, whatever comes to mind.

I may be on the paranoid side of whatever normal is, but that is what I'm basing my activities and life on nowadays. Yes, I'd rather be safe than sorry. With uncharted territory, that just makes sense to my hyper vigilant self right now. I've expressed my concerns to my doctor, and I am very lucky to have an understanding and caring MD. This is the place to talk about what's going on, express ourselves, support one another, and I'm very thankful to have ears to talk to, here. I'm a pretty good listener, too.

Mr. Xword and I stayed at a cheap hotel with a shared bathroom in 1979. Even then, I was squeamish about it! It was on the Oregon coast. The last time we were in that town about 25 years later, the building was still there, but we stayed in a beachfront hotel. Apparently Lizzie's has a bathroom for every room? I remember reading that it does. I still wouldn't like eating with strangers, or black washcloths.

Oh yeah, remember in the early seasons, the wives wore long sleeved t-shirts with spaghetti strap shirts as toppers? Those days are long gone. So they will get another season? Must be slim-pickingks for TLC, after last season's bore-fest. Poor Ysabel, having to be exploited again, if that's the plan. Will Kootie try to force Snowflake's weddingk sooner rather than later? Are any of the adult sons willing to have any upcoming weddings or engagements exploited for another storyline? A fifth wife would be ratings gold, but Robyn ain't gonna allow that, we know. Too bad.
